I did have a newer nail tech who is still learning, so my service took a little longer than usual, but it was still a very enjoyable experience. This nail salon was an awesome experience today. My soon-to-be sister-in-law and I needed our nails done for her wedding this weekend. The nail shop we were initially going to visit was closed and I'm so glad it was...Cathy's was fantastic! From the kind greeting at the door to the checkout. We requested a lot and the technicians here did not disappoint. Not only were they fast, but extremely detailed. We enjoyed our margaritas as we got our toes and nails done. I'm definitely impressed. Went in last night around 6 (they close at 7) to get an old set removed and I requested a new full set. Without hesitation I was greeted with a smile and Vicky got right to work. She was very polite, asking questions on how I would like to remove my old set, if she was allowed to clip my nails, she helped me pick a base color for my set and throughout the process she check in making sure I was okay with everything. I was the last one in the shop and even after all her coworkers had left she still took the time to give me quality service. I was not made to feel uncomfortable or like a bother because my service went over their closing hours and next time I stop by I will go in earlier to avoid doing so. Last night my daughter and I went to your salon for a mani-pedi and gel polish. While I was getting my expensive pedicure, a woman started with my nails and actually put a book on me and rested her devices on that book. I was both uncomfortable and unable to enjoy my pedicure. I told them "THIS IS NOT RELAXING" to which there was no English response. The gentleman did a decent job with my toes but we should have discussed my big toe because it was messed up and it does not look very good but If we had been able to discuss it I would have asked him to put a tip on the nail to make it look right.  But it is impossible to discuss a problem when no one working on you speaks any English. Then, my daughter was trying to finish up and get out of there and the older woman working on her nails spilled hot wax not only on my daughter but on her new dress - she had a date which she was unable to attend because she had to go and change her clothes. I paid $220 (including a $30 tip for the folks that worked on us) and we said "thank you" and left. You do a great deal of volume and I suppose that is your focus over relaxation and beautification. But we will never darken your door again as you all did not even try to make it right, any of it. I was in town for a concert and needed a pedicure. I found this salon on Yelp and it had good reviews and was nearby. I ended up getting way more than I bargained for when I got the "Johnny experience." He did my nails and they turned out so cool! Who even knew there was unicorn hologram powder you could use an an ombré effect? I was blown away with what I saw him doing on other ladies nails. I would normally return for a refill after 2 weeks but this set held up so well that after 2 weeks they were still very nice. Today made 3 weeks exactly and even Johnny himself was surprised (at his own work lol). I stated in my previous review that this set was pricey ($50) but it's worth it because after almost a month, there was minimal lifting and because it's color acrylic there wasn't any chipping. Stopped here on my way to New Orleans to get my nails done! I got coffin-shaped acrylic nails. The price and color was amazing. I will say the coating seemed a little thick and two of my nails weren't as precise as I would've liked shape-wise but it was nothing offensive. I still enjoyed wearing them. Disappointed is putting it mildly! Went here to get a pedi and mani initially. Salon was super crowed and unsanitary especially for Covid condition. Had trouble communicating with the lady doing my pedicure and had to have someone else interpret want I wanted. The lady proceeded to use an instrument like a cheese grater on my feet and literally sliced a gash in my big toe which immediately started bleeding. She then pushed my foot back into the water and said it would be ok. I asked to get some antiseptic and was handed a travel pack. Needless to say it was a sh..show. I bailed on the manicure and was offered a discount on pedicure with apologies. I understand accidents happen but if they weren't working so fast and being careful it would not have happened. I got a acrylic refill and pedicure.. My nails were not filed underneath and the nail was not glued on correctly. The guy who did my pedicure was very rough when exfoliating and I had scraps on my heels. The place looked great inside and everyone was very friendly but they need some training. read more

So I received advice to ask for John when I got there, he was equally as busy as everyone else but his nail artwork was of mastery level. I received a deluxe pedicure and gel full set where it was work every penny! They were busy and at my age I have never seen so many people taken care of so efficiently!! I loved watching them work! So, I have pros, but just as many cons. We'll start with the pros. The design I wanted (textured nails) came out amazing and Johnny was so sweet, my feet are the smoothest they have ever been after a week since I've had my pedicure, and overall everyone was very nice. Cons- I was cut not once, not twice, but three times during my pedicure and she just kept throwing on stuff that stung so badly. At least 5 different people worked on my nails after I specifically asked for a certain nail tech and stated that I would wait on them and like I said the design came out great, but my nails were not drilled correctly (the top of my nails is thicker than the bottom on at least 4 nails). Before I got the design I wanted I asked him how much it would be and he said $15 for both fingers. I said okay. Well, at the end they charged me $75 for my nails. I got a pink and white ombré with coffin shape. There is no reason that should have been $60 and definitely not for the quality I got. Fast forward to today (one week later) and I am missing two nails already. I feel like had the nail tech I asked for done my nails that this would've been a different review besides the pedi and the price, but for whatever reason that was not an option. read more

I know this is gonna sound strange .. but I go here often because there isn't usually a wait. she does a good job; and I feel sorry for them because I don't think they get allot of business. however I can kind of see why; because its so slow they allow the kids to do home work, watch TV, and eat in the middle of the store. $90 & 3hrs! NEVER AGAIN!!!! They work on people that came in after you that have no appointment! I got a "deluxe pedicure and a full set". 4 different people worked on me which is ridiculous! The acrylic on my toes is lumpy and misshapen! One finger is bleeding, he put only hot water in the pedicure chair and expected for me to soak my feet in that scolding water, I have red glitter on my nails which I didn't ask for, the acrylic on my nails are too thick, I have more clear polish on my skin than on my nails which they never cleaned, my rhinestones aren't in the positioned I paid for them to be and aren't glued on good enough at all! And I drove a 1.5hrs for this. Don't trust Instagram reviews and pictures!!! This is one of the WORST NAIL shops I've ever been to (and I've been to many.) First of all there is only one person who does decent nails & it's a 20 year old kid!! (The owners son) the owners do not speak English so you cannot speak with them , you have to go through their kids... the products they use are SUPER CHEAP and will have you getting fungus. I got fungus on over 5 nails and I've only been to their shop 4 times !!! One of my nails was completely geeen today when they took off my last set , I was astonished because I've never had this happen in the 10+ years of doing my nails. I tried addressing this and they blamed ME?! I go every 2-3 weeks and take very good care of my nails so that was false. Every time I've went I waited hours yes HOURS just to get my nails done. This time due to seeing all the fungus & waiting 2 hours I decided to leave , I was very upset and the owners child argued with me in front of the entire shop and said that the fungus was my fault and just completely disrespected me. There's definetly less expensive and better work in town. 3 of my nails are very crooked and when i told the lady she just filed them more down than the others, so not even. I've been following them on instagram for a long time and they're work looks amazing, so I decided to go in for my first time. I got powder ombré for my acrylics and they looked NOTHING like the sample, not even the color. Even one of the tech mention it to the owner who did my nails but she continued to do them four nails in that color until someone handled her the "right" color powder. Nope, still not the same. So I was like whatever, she might fix them in the end. Nah, my nails were literally a mess. Powder was stuck on my skin all around my nails and she didn't even clean it up. Another tech came by was like, "why she didn't clean your nails" so she did, she was so sweet and clean them up. The owner wasn't focus on my nails bc another customer was causing a scene.
