Waiting in a corporate Fed-ex center etc is a chore. Pack Rat makes it cute and fun. The line goes by adorable souvenirs & practical things like office supplies. 100% yes to affordably priced holiday colored sharpies! I found it because my printer was down. It's one of my new favorite places. Local Nola at its best. Growing up my Mom always called small businesses with heart and charm "we try harder places". It's not glossy, not corporate, it's adorable and the kind of place we see all too often disappearing here. I went in low key grumpy & in a hurry, left with a big smile on my face.

Again they did a great job!…read more I always rely on Mr Paul and his fantastic team when I purchase artworks at New Orleans Auction House. Mr Paul is very precise, correct and professional. They picked up at Auction House, packed (in double boxes) and shipped (with DHL) my very fragile art ceramic (Edition Picasso): the ceramic dish arrived to Italy promptly, packed perfectly and all for a reasonable fee. For me they are a guarantee and when my works of art are in their hands I feel calm and reassured. I always highly recommend them. Nicola Pontalti - Italy

I wore a white shirt, and because of the white background, it made my head look like it was just floating there with no body lol. I paid $205.44 for them to ship a $1,500 piece of art that I purchased from Renegade Art. They lost a critical component of the art piece itself and continue to refuse to respond to my contacts. They think that if they ignore the problem and remain silent, it will just go away. Both Rob Schmidt, the owner of the business, as well as Luz Lekrik, the Store Manager have been WELL informed of the problem and made the baffling decision to tarnish their store's reputation rather than fixing a simple problem. I even showed them how simple the solution would be, but they remain silent. Ordinarily, someone in my position would be quick to fire off one of those 1 star angry reviews we all see all the time and roll our eyes, but I will have to give them a little credit. The main piece of art that was received was very well packed, so I'll give them 3 stars for that, but the loss of the critical component, combined with their complete and utter lack of communication when the tiniest bit of trouble showed up earns them the loss of 2 stars.
