Also, I just have to add that I read on either yelp or google that this place took the best driver's license pictures ever and I concur 100%. I was offered the opportunity to take multiple pictures and pick the best one. Now that is great service! No more DMV for me. High Tech is the only place I will be using in the future.

This place needs a revamp. They have options to schedule online appointments and accept walk-ins…read more8am-10am. If 8am-10am is the walk-in time, why at 1:50pm (my appointment time) were there still walk ins? They also had a weird system of having people stand outside to wait for entrance. Mind you, we're having daily heat advisories and topping 100 degrees. I ended up being helped, before people who waited for hours. My agent who assisted me was not even aware of the requirements for what I applied for. I did my research, prior, and informed them to her. My information was not good enough, because she ended up google searching. Her google search proved my information was correct. This is a place you visit every few years and not go regularly. It was a draining experience and I believe they should do more to enforce setting appointments. They also need more people to handle their lines.

Terrible customer service. I came a month ago, looking to get a duplicate ID issue fixed. The two…read moreladies in the front had conflicting and contradictory answers about the questions I had which, of course, led to more questions so that I could receive clarity as a customer. I got my answers and left. A month later I returned with the necessary documents to have my issue taken care so I led with letting her know what I was told I needed to now receive my Real ID. Instead of answering the simple question of "Am I able to take of this here or do i have to go to a DMV" I was met with "are you in a better mood today?". No answer of my question, just full intent on being difficult and unprofessional. It was 10 am, i was there second or third customer. If you hate your job so much that I'm made out to "be in a bad mood" because i needed clarification from two women who seemingly don't know what they're doing and can't be trusted to run a place alone. i complained to the manager who completely brushed off my issue and only cared to know what I came in for. after explaining how rude and careless her employees was towards me, she said "we wouldn't be able to complete that here no" so....she evaded my actual reasoning for calling all together. All i got was a "does that answer your question since she didn't?" I hung up because it is clear her employees feel they can't treat customers any kind of way because the OWNER is enabling that behavior. no repercussions but certainly multiple lost customers.

So all the places to get switch her over were chaos. So we tried out Jefferson Title, after an early morning doctor's appointment and before we went out to lunch with family. Even though it was a Tuesday, the place was crowded. But there were a number of clerks working. Some seemed to be devoted to licenses/IDs and others were doing title transfers. You signed in on a clipboard with a name and why you were there. The line moved pretty quickly and eventually we were successful so Mom is legal for another 4 years! The building is an old Masonic lodge that was divided up to host a couple of different businesses. Bathrooms are in the lobby and there is a slight step up to get in the building but nothing Mom couldn't handle. The staff was courteous and patient with everyone which was pretty impressive considering the crowd and that NO ONE likes to do DMV stuff.

Confused by the California paperwork, they insisted my properly completed forms weren't acceptable and that I needed new documents and originals. Frustrated, I went to another title agency--they laughed, processed everything without issue, and had me out the door in minutes with a Louisiana plate. If I had listened to the incompetent people at Jefferson title, I would have wasted a ton of time chasing down a bunch of documents I did not need. Safe to say, I won't be back...
