We needed to replace the sump pump so he needed to get a new one. He went out to get a new one and kept us in the loop with the approximate cost of the project and got our confirmation that we were good to proceed. He was a great communicator as he kept us in the loop for pricing and the scope of work he was doing. I appreciate the transparency and the explanation. The project was completed the same day. Taz was one of several recommended plumbers on Yelp, and I had used him once before when we had a pipe burst. He came out super quick and fixed the problem and did gouge me on price. So when I had this big project (add water and sewage line to an ADU) I was happy to see that Taz came up as an option. Taz plumbing came out evaluated the work and when it came to price he was less than the competition. He is super easy to communicate with, there are no frills. The work was done in a timely manner. Taz had to pivot twice on this project because of the piss poor San Leandro inspector, but Taz made it work and didn't overprice the extra work that was needed. Taz plumbing in my opinion is the GOAT of local plumbers and I would call him again!

They range from repiping the entire house, piping from the street, changing the water heater, tearing down walls, etc. Taz Plumbing was the ONLY company that did not try to sell me additional work. There was no up sale after the initial estimate either. The work that was discussed was the work that was carried out. Estimate and total cost were still lower than the other quotes. And some of those quotes did not even include the proper work to satisfy the need. 1 year warranty on the work included. The cost of experience was well worth the price paid for the time spent on the job. I 100% recommend working with Gee and Taz Plumbing.

I…read morehad to get my water pressure relief valve (PRV) replaced and he had educated me on a few options but also cautioned me against some of the cheaper options thst would break down in a few years since the area that valve in was in direct sunlight. The plastic housings for the cheaper PRV were not a good choice so we ended up getting the brass one installed. He also was able to get another small project done for me in time as well to get a water line setup for me. Gary was professional, quick, and took care of the work with attention to detail. Costellos also got him out early morning so that was great. My issues were resolved the same day and Gary was transparent about pricing. Would highly recommend this company. I wasn't upsold or pressured into spending more than I needed to, and I got all my questions answered too.
