And it constantly changes, never the same store when you go in as the inventory moves and updates all the time. I love it!! It is my new favorite place since we live wayyyy too far from Central Market (haven't been there in years). It is my guilty pleasure, hubby knows when I say I am going to town 'to go goof around' where he can find me. I never leave there empty-handed and have to smell all the candles, look at all the new housewares and see if there are any new cute outfits for my grandbabies (or a new blouse for me). I buy my purses here now too, they have a pretty good selection and I usually get a new one every 3 years or so. The knick-knacks for decor get to me every time, they are so original and offbeat...kinda like me I guess. Ha! You will find me on weekends holding up traffic in one of the aisles, just say Hi and I will move over.

This whole area is under construction due to the expansion of FM 1960. Be aware, as part of the parking lot is blocked off for the construction crew and traffic/access can be a real juggle. Selection of dog beds was indeed great, but there were twice as many cat beds. If you're a cat person, this is the place for you, obviously! Picked out a decent bed and headed to the check out. And the wait begins. And drags on and on. I was in line for an excess of 25 minutes, and I was about fifth in line. Right before I was "summoned" to check out, I turned around and counted: there were 20 people in line. Unbelievable, and absolutely no additional cashiers were called. While I like the selection of items at HomeGoods, the wait to check out is excessive. I'm amazed that after multiple years this store still suffers from the same lack of customer service at the check out.

We hadn't been in years, and we thought it would be a fun family trip to revisit a store we used to enjoy. When we first arrived, we were greeted warmly by the store manager, Christi, who was kind, professional, and had a genuine smile that set the right tone. The store was not busy, so it was fairly quiet, and you could easily hear my children's laughter echo through the aisles. My son is four--curious, energetic, and, like most toddlers, has a knack for exploring things he shouldn't. My one-year-old daughter giggled as he climbed into one of the large bins--yes, the sturdy, weight-bearing type designed to hold storage items. Of course, as any parent would, I told him to get out. He didn't listen immediately (because, well, he's four), but he wasn't hurting anyone or causing damage. Had anything happened, we're responsible parents and would've made it right. That's why I was completely shocked when an employee named John came marching from the opposite end of the store with a stern, unpleasant expression. Without so much as acknowledging us--the parents--he looked directly at my children and said, in a sharp tone, "Hey kids, get out of there because if you break, you buy." Then he turned and walked away. Not only was this incredibly unprofessional, it was completely inappropriate to speak to someone else's children in that manner. You don't approach toddlers with jargon they don't even understand. You address the parents first. His tone, body language, and delivery made the situation feel unnecessarily hostile and condescending--especially toward two very young kids who were simply being kids. Whether John was having a bad day or just lacks basic customer service skills, it was unacceptable. It left me embarrassed, upset, and frankly appalled that this was how a paying customer and her family were treated--especially in a store that prides itself on organization, sophistication, and service. Although Christi was not aware of what had happened during our visit, her calm and gentle spirit at checkout reminded me what great customer service should feel like. She treated us with genuine kindness and professionalism, completely unaware of the negative experience we'd just had with her employee. Unfortunately, her warmth wasn't enough to undo the damage caused by that interaction. This experience has completely changed how we view this location, and sadly, it will be the last time my family and I shop here. I sincerely hope The Container Store addresses this type of behavior and ensures no other family is ever made to feel the way we did that day.

WARNING!!! This store is addicting!…read more Finally decided to come here after driving past it plenty o' times and ended up making some purchases for my home, this is every Suburban mom's Toyland! Bought everything anywhere from my King Size bed along with frame, to all my decorative toiletries, lamps, kids room decor, and outdoor decor. I was so hooked! The place isn't very fancy, definitely a "warehouse" type but all they focus is on their products and low prices. They have a couple floor samples on rooms which some ideas I did steal for my son's and daughter's room. My kids and I literally scavenged through their clearance sections and we have no regrets! Their clearance isn't like other places where the style isn't "in" but more like they are making more space for newer items, some items were just in season like a week ago and yet they have new styles in. I did signed up for their rewards which is very generous (mind you I will most likely shop here more than usual). I am patiently awaiting on my rewards to make another stop and make my house feel like home!

I've always thought Kirkland carried very old school items, but not really... I feel like these days they've been more to date on their home decor. I also want to brag about a girl name Breana. We call her Ninja Breana! She has a very good attitude and was very patient with me as I decide on which wreaths to pick out. We call her Ninja Breana, because she is the go-to girl when it comes to getting up high to pull display merchandise down for us customers. I came back the next day to catch the Fall promo and was so happy to see her again. Same as the previous day, I wanted to get another item on display and guess who they called out? Ninja Breana! I was so happy to see her! People like Ninja Breana really helps with the mood especially during the holiday shopping madness! All the other staff was super helpful, including one who was pregnant.. she went out of her way to take care of things for me. One lady who checked out for me actually took her time to help me carry out all of the items to the car. GOSH, I just can't stop bragging about the customer service Kirkland (1960) has to offer. LOVE IT.

Comprised of both the main store and an intake area, StillGoode dominates the shopping strip. Apparently consignment is by appointment only, but this review is not about that process, it's about the fun stuff, furniture shopping! Browsing from aisle to aisle, it was clear that everything was in pretty good shape. While the shop as a whole embraced traditional furniture offerings, I occasionally ran across a few items in other styles (an oversized burl coffee table, boucle accent chairs, and various farmhouse pieces for example). The pricing is pretty competitive, especially if you're willing to overlook a few minor markings of wear and tear. It far more expensive than your Goodwill, or Junior Forum, but less expensive than your inner loop curated consignment boutique, and certain a better value that purchasing new. More than that I appreciate the demeanor of the staff. They're helpful but not at all overbearing. They're friendly and available without hovering. It's a relaxed, low pressure environment that allows the customer to feel comfortable taking their time to make decisions. In addition to carrying high quality furniture they also carry decor, framed artwork, jewelry, and handbags. Although my husband and I didn't find anything on this trip, I'm sure we'll be back in a few months to take a look at the new inventory.
