A couple of buddies and I came down to Boston to catch a BC Eagles game and were starving before heading to the game. We decided to stop here because we saw that they were serving brunch. We were absolutely pleasantly surprised. It wasn't only brunch, it was all you can eat brunch. You could basically get anything off the menu that you wanted in tapas size plates. We had everything from churro French toast, to fried plantains, to pork belly eggs Benedict, to street corn and tostada. The waitress was fantastic, making great recommendations and being speedy while at it. We also got a couple of the delicious bloody maries that had some kick and were masterfully made. The decor was really nice but I also could see there being no room with the limited tables in Boston but a really good Mexican style vibe. We will definitely be back.

I've walked by this place all summer and it's always packed, so I was very happy to finally have the time to stop by for their all you can eat menu. For just $25 per person, you can have all you can eat brunch on Saturday and Sunday, or all you can eat dinner on Monday - Thursday. I'll have to come back for dinner sometime, but this time I came for their bottomless brunch: El Montanero "Superbeasto" - My favorite thing on the menu. Despite the description saying it has an egg, chorizo, pork beans, chicharron, plantain, rice, mayo, crema, guacamole, and a crispy tortilla, this was actually not a huge plate. I love that they get all of those ingredients together in a manageable portion - I was almost afraid to order this because it looked very filling, but the portion size was perfect for trying other dishes! Burro Benedict - I was not a fan of this. The sauce and the egg were okay, but the slice of ham was paper thin and the english muffin was extremely thick and dense. It was very filling. Pancake with strawberry mermelada + tres leches crema - These were amazing, but WARNING - a single order comes with 3 pancakes. If you're trying to save stomach space but still want to try this, you can order just one, but if you don't specify the number, it comes with 3. The tres leches crema was amazing and the strawberry sauce was also perfect. Loved these! "Cholo" Corn Esquites - I wasn't a huge fan of this one - it tasted like bitter almost-burnt garlic with some corn and mayo. It was pretty filling as well. Chilaquiles - I was expecting this to be much bigger than it was, but it wasn't bad. It was a nice portion size and the chips were crisp, but it wasn't anything super special. Nice if you want some texture / something similar to nachos. Tacos: - Morning taco - I didn't like this one too much, mainly because there was no meat, but there wasn't anything really wrong with it. - Crispy "Baja Style" Fish - This was nice and crispy - delicious! - Gulf Shrimp "Diablo" - This was my favorite of the tacos - it came with 2 pieces of shrimp each and a really nice acidic mango and habanero salsa. The pickled red onion also added a nice touch - really nicely balanced - Short Rib - This was okay, but nothing too special. It was a little chewy as well. - Pork Carnitas - This was good - nice and soft with a lot of flavor! The pineapple salsa on it was also a nice addition! The staff were so nice and attentive as well - I drink a LOT of water, and any time my glass got to half empty, someone would come by and fill it back up like clockwork. Similarly, whenever we finished a plate or a serving, someone would come by to take the empty dishes AND ask if we'd like to order additional items (which we did a few times!). I've been to other places where you have to flag someone down to order more, but the staff here were really on top of everything! I also loved the artwork and the general feel of the place - it felt very modern and festive with all of the colorful decorations! All in all, the food was good, but aside from the shrimp tacos and the Superbeasto, nothing really blew me away. Still, for the price and the fact that it is bottomless, I'd absolutely come back again, and I'd love to see what the all you can eat weekday dinner menu has!

Well the food is delicious and such great service from Justin on the covered patio! Just people watching and eating. All you can eat Saturday and Sunday $25 Coffee and dessert separate. Taren seated us and the manager was so helpful telling us about all you can eat Monday through Thursday 5-10 $21.

As a family of brunchers, this is by far one of our new favorites. A++ on the value you get from their $25 Bottomless Brunch menu. We love variety and Painted Burro delivered this -- big time! Our favorites ended up being most of the tapas (corn, potatoes, brussels sprouts and kale salad) and the tacos (fish and cauliflower) while their entree section picks were good but took second place. If you're in the mood for a boozy brunch, they have a sizable selection of signature cocktails. I opted for the Spicy El Diablo margarita and it did not disappoint! I ordered 2 just to make sure ;) Decor was so cute and they are roomier enough for slightly larger groups up to 6. You don't have elbows rubbing up against other elbows like some of the modern taco bars these days. All in all, we are so glad we found this gem and it is officially now in our brunch rolodex. We shall be back!

My husband and I came to celebrate our first date as it had been at a Mexican restaurant. I picked this restaurant because the reviews had been good. Well, they were spot on! The interior has a fun inviting atmosphere with blue theme. We were seated at a high top booth and greeted by a very friendly bartender. We ordered the guacamole and chips to start as my friend had suggested it , it was delicious and so was the salsa. When we went to order he had asked if we saw their special, $25 a person and could order almost anything in the menu. I did not think I was that hungry but he sold us on financially it was a better deal. It did allow us to try so many things. However with chips and salsa first I got filled up fast. The food is delicious. The bartender ended the night by bringing us a coffee flan. I would definitely recommend and will be back

great service food isn't amazing but decent for all you can eat. as others have stated in their reviews, the food can take a while but our waiter allowed us to order as much as we wanted at once so we receieved more than enough. kale salad - too full to eat by the time I received it but would start with it

Coconut French Toast, Burro Home Fries, Chilaquiles, horchata mixed with alc

The food is filling and aesthetic but the service is cheeks. Because it was the bottomless brunch, I have a feeling they take their time with ordering and coming around to make us order less. Upon arrival we waited 15 minutes to get our order. The ambiance is nice. It is a nice place for instagram pics.

Great deal for AYCE brunch! We made a reservation for mid morning Sunday brunch, but honestly we probably didn't need one as the place was pretty empty when we got there and didn't pick up too much by the time we left. We got a table outside and it was super pleasant - overall, great ambiance. The menu had a good mix of different breakfast plates and they were all on the smaller side, making it easy for us to pick as many as we wanted to try. The corn, Brussels sprouts, and potatoes were my favorite sides. The tacos were pretty delicious and flavorful whole the pancakes/waffles weren't bad either. Overall, everything was pretty well made, albeit nothing stuck out or stole the show as an amazing dish. For the price and quality of food as well as the quantity, I enjoyed the overall vibe and meal itself. The service was decent as well, although a bit hard to flag down for water. Overall, I would definitely come back due to how good of a deal it was, although it wasn't the most amazing brunch ever. Regardless, enjoyed my time and would be happy to return if I'm ever in the area again!

Stopped in for drinks and dessert, and it did not disappoint! The drinks were strong, well-priced, and well-made, but the real star was the leche dessert--it absolutely blew my mind. Conveniently located near the Green Line in Brookline, this spot is definitely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved this place for Bottomless Brunch!!! GREAT tacos, amazing guac, and incredible service. My friend and I both ordered a variety of tacos to share: fish taco, morning taco, short rib, and shrimp. All incredible. For $25, you're absolutely getting the real deal! My favorite was definitely the morning taco with the pico, crema, and guacamole. They all constituted for a great combination. Additionally, I enjoyed the sweetness of the short rib and the shrimp was delightful but I personally wasn't a fan of the mango habanero spread. I would get it without next time. My friend was such a huge fan of her crispy fish tacos that she ended up ordering 2 more. The guac, which I indulged in, was $10 extra and also came with with chips + salsa but was honestly worth the price. It was so fresh and delicious. Quality ingredients for sure. Additionally, the salsa was super flavorful and not too spicy, and we enjoyed adding it to our tacos. The chips were good, but we're a tiny bit too thin (airy) and would've been tastier if they were thicker. They broke apart very easily when dipping. My friend also ordered herself a potato-queso bowl, which was AMAZING. I was so full by the time hers arrived, so I didn't order one for myself, but I totally will next time. It was so flavorful, the potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside and completely melted in your mouth. Pair this with the tres queso dip? I was in LOVE. We will 100% return. I recommend coming here very hungry, as you'll quickly want to order everything from the menu. Absolutely delicious, Burro Bar! We love you!

Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas

Second time back here in three weeks! I am drooling thinking about this Chipotle Queso Dip. It is actually to die for and the perfect amount of cheesiness!! This time, I only got the buffalo cauliflower tacos because last time I did not really enjoy the chicken. I am a chicken LOVER and it sadly did not hit the spot :( The buff cauliflower has a perfect amount of spice balanced with the purée at the bottom. Next, my boyfriend got the chipotle chicken enchiladas and they caught me by surprise! The chicken was yummy, but the sauce a weird tomato purée that caught me really off guard. The whole place was yummy, but especially go for the margaritas and the queso! Highly recommend the strawberry margarita!!! We got a few each!!

Beef, Mahi, Shrimp, Chicken , Short Rib all delicious!

Went here with my son for the second time since last year and it changed... for the better. I love both times as the food is great as is with the atmosphere. We sat outside in a covered patio with white lights and it was just fine. The inside is a bit new as the bar was moved and there are more seats. We both had Margaritas and they were fantastic. The tacos , 3 each were more than enough as we shared the Polanco rice.

Excellent brunch experience! Heard about the bottomless brunch through a friend, so we came to check it out last Sunday. Location in Brookline was super easy to get to and parking was easy. The decor inside is really unique, make sure you take a look around at the art on the walls. Thankfully, I made a reservation because they were starting to get busy! We were seated immediately browse through the menu, and when the waiter came over. He walked us through the menu and how the bottomless brunch worked. It's pretty simple all you can eat for 90 minutes, not including drinks or sides. We opted for a bottle of champagne, because brunch. Like all of the portions are individually sized, and made to order so you can split or enjoy your own personal portion and try a bunch of items. Some of our favorites were the chicken and waffles, the shrimp tacos and the tortas. You could probably skip the eggs Benedict, it's not bad just nothing special. Save room for the more savory dishes like the French toast. Service was great throughout our time there we never felt like we were waiting to order a dish or waiting for something to come out. I would love to come back here in the summer when their patio and outdoor seating is opened.

For food, everything was delicious: The Romaine & Kale Caesar was good, though I wish it had whole anchovies for a little extra punch. The prosciutto bruschetta was incredible, definitely a standout. The crispy cauliflower was my favorite dish of the night, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The rigatoni bolognese was solid and comforting. The Chianti-Marsala braised beef short rib was insanely tender and cooked perfectly (just wish there were a few more mushrooms!). Also have to mention the dirty martini was so good. Overall, such a great spot with a fun vibe, amazing service, and really tasty food. I'll definitely be back!
