Paint colors super organized and neat

Adorable place located in the heart of Redmond Town Center. Our daughter was invited to have a play date with her classmate. This small shop operates on a first come first served basis - so many folx wait outside until a table becomes available. You start by selecting a ceramic piece to paint and then leave it for a few days until it's ready for pick up. The ceramic selection is huge and varies in price. From vases, bowls, skulls, dragons, plates, butter dishes ...so many choices! Our littles puppy was around $20. I'm looking forward to returning with adults to paint our hearts out. Customer service was outstanding too!

Great selection of paints, ceramics and accessories to use. Never feel rushed. Love that I can go in, throw in my earbuds and paint on my project for a bit, then come back within a few days and finish up another time.

Fun chill creative spot. I had a reservation for glass fusing. You must reserve for glass fusing! It was mine & my husbands first time & i had so much fun. Once you make your reservation you can stay as long as you need to. My reservation was at 5:30pm & We didnt leave until they closed. The staff was so helpful in explaining how to use the tools to create a beautiful art piece. He also shared little tricks & best practices. It was tricky to cut the glass & create shapes you were hoping for as a beginner. Based on the size of your base glass you can choose to have it shaped as a bowl, plate, coaster, etc... We were the only ones doing glass fusing but there were definitely a lot of people doing pottery painting. We will be returning to continue to master glass fusing. We learned a lot the first time.

Love this place so very much! Staff is always friendly and helpful. There are so many different options to paint and the staff will help with any technique. It's relaxing and fun...perfect little date for my daughter and I to enjoy each other's company.

    Full Fusing Glass Coaster.

I had such a fun time when I came for a glass fusing workshop! The employees start the session with an explanation of the process and demonstrations on how-tos such as cutting the glass shards. No prior experience is needed, there is a lot of freedom and hands-on activity, plus is friendly for kids. For mine I decided to make a coaster with a simple cardinal design on top. There was an abundance of colors, textures, and bases to work with; and the employees were more than happy to give suggestions and help with every part of the way. After piecing together my coaster for over an hour, I left it at the store to be fired. I went with full fusing where all the glass layers are completely merged into the base for a smooth surface and rounded edges. Due to the high heat, the glass will be warped and shrink a bit. I returned a couple days later to pick up the finished product and was really pleased with the result. The square coaster is roughly 3.75" by 3.75". It's cute and they attach the nonslip corner pads for you. I use the coaster everyday for my ceramic mug!

Had a great time doing fused glass with my child. Have done pottery lots of times, but wanted to try this with my 12 year old. It was pretty fun. Emailed the store for a time and came the next day.

My 7.5 year old son and I visited this evening and such a pleasant experience. The staff member was kind and welcoming, even when we took FOREVER to pick out our pieces and paint color. (When you're 7.5 these decisions are very serious and take a lot of contemplation) I loved the wide selection of pieces to paint and the variety of brushes they provided. The walls are decorated with eclectic and pretty items so it's enjoyable just to look around while you wait for the paint to dry before applying next coats. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be back! Post-covid it will be a great group activity!

THIS IS THE BEST POTTERY PAINTING PLACE EVER!!!! And I have been around the block! Katie the assistant at the shop was so kind, spirited, & helpful!! There was an array of pottery to choose from!!! It was hard to decide. Once you select your pieces, you simple refer to the blotches of paint colors. You jot down the number that matches with the colors, and go back to Katie that sets you up with an art bucket of brushes, requested paints, and sponges to clean the pottery before painting. It was such a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. But the best part was Katie!!! She really cares about her job and represents the brand impeccably. Can't wait to go back very soon to finish up my piece. Not to mention, this studio is VERY reasonable. LOVEEEE THIS SPOT!!! Everyone.... you NEED to go.

Love this place, I bring my kids here to make personalized gifts for grandparents or just to enjoy some painting and make a new statement piece to display in their rooms. We love getting gift cards from here for birthday gifts for friends. Highly recommend stopping in for a relaxing paint session. They have small items that take 20 min to paint or larger that will take 2-2.5 hrs to paint. They have tips and tricks to help with anything you need when painting, stencils, stamps, silk screen and you can also do glasswork fusing. My family always enjoys a trip to Paint away!

I came here for the first time with my 3 nephews who initially were not very interested in ceramic/pottery painting. The studio was clean, organized, and had so many different pottery pieces we could paint! My nephews were able to pick out something they each liked and the staff was very helpful in directing us about supply use and then gave us our space to do our own thing. I appreciated that we could freely pick our own paints and swap as we wanted to without asking. The boys ended up getting into and really enjoying the painting! We took our time and the staff never pressured us to leave and were very kind :) my nephews asked to come again so we'll be back soon!

It's located in a very cute portable surrounded by other businesses, it reminds me of a little village. She painted me a planter pot and painted half of it in two colors so that I can switch the sides, so creative. We were there for almost 3.5 hrs, never felt rushed or anything like that. When you arrive, the staff will walk you through with the process and will ask that you pick out the pieces that you would like to paint. Then, when you're done, they will show you the process and off to painting you go! It takes about 2 weeks to get the pieces back, so if you're in a hurry, you might want to plan accordingly. They do not charge for studio fees like other places, the price is already incorporated into the pieces and I appreciate that. I would totally recommend this place.

The last few times I've visited, I've painted small dishes and I love the cute variety of tiny plates they have available to paint. The unique shapes like strawberries and hearts are so cute and make for such a special experience. I love how easy it is to get set up with paints and clean up afterward. The signage can be a little confusing sometimes, but the employees are super helpful and kind with answering questions. The only down side is that during my most recent trip I was told I needed to wait two weeks for my piece to be fired. In the past and at other places I've only ever had to wait a week, but I love supporting a local place and I love that they have so much business.

However, it's worth it IMO! Weekends are busy and there's generally a wait. However, I opted to paint outside and got seated right away. They have a great selection of items to paint. I picked two jars. They have a variety of supplies that allowed me to bring my vision to life! The number of colors they have to select from is vast too. They have a wide range of brushes and tools, and I appreciated their two sizes of paint pen detail bottles--perfect for writing! Nicky was so helpful and accommodating. He reviewed how the pair a work and the process thoroughly but succinctly. He brought my chosen pieces out to the table since I had my dog with me. It is dog friendly outside! Not sure about inside. Check out was pretty seamless, and Erica did a great job with my checkout! The prices for the pieces are comparable to ones I saw at another similar establishment, which was good to see. If you're looking for a fun activity, check out Paint the Town!
