The guy that did it, didn't seem to know what he was doing. Didn't seem like the process was sterile at all.. ON TOP of that..during the process of piercing my tongue, he didn't know to guide me so I can sit where he can make the piercing straight. He had to be guided ALSO it's been 3 months now and my piercing is still crooked. Not where I had asked it to be. WILL NOT go back for any other service.

I came to Columbia for their $13 Black Friday event. I've gotten many piercings before but this was…read moremy first time here. The inside is fine, typical tattoo shop, a little rough but no major things. The people who work there are nice. I got 3 piercing piercings, a tragus and two helix in different spots. The piercing process, again, was fine, too be expected. However, now almost 3 weeks after the event I have had problems ever since with my fresh piercings. To tell my story better the piercings were all bar piercings that were VERY short (maybe about 5 or 6mm long) and they all had ball backings instead of flat. Anyways, about a week ago one of the balls came off of my tragus piercing, I thought no big deal it's probably because of me cleaning it and my hair moving it. I couldn't get it back on though due to the fact that the bar was so short that you couldn't see the end of the threading to screw the ball on. I went to Euphoria in the mall where they were able to put another sterile longer flack backed bar into my tragus, the piercer said it was way too short and you couldn't put it back in even if you wanted to. It needs room to swell, hence why you pierce with longer bars. THEN a couple days later, the ball fell off one of my helix piercings, I was really annoyed at this point but luckily I was able to screw that one back on as my ear is naturally thinner there. Finally yesterday, I thought that my other helix ball had fallen off. I was pissed, I went back to Euphoria and told them again (because I had just been there a couple days ago) that I thought the ball had fallen off, we went back to change it... nope, the ball hadn't fallen off.. my skin had GROWN AROUND IT AND IT WAS STUCK INSIDE. The piercer was really nice and used his clean tools to dig out the back out of my ear. It hurt worse than when I got it originally pierced. He was appalled by this. This is why piercings should be pierced with long bars and flat backs due to the fact that your ear can swell and then proceed to grow over it!!!! I'm really glad that I was able to get a replacement piercing but I'm worry for anyone who goes to Columbia to get piercings similar to mine, so be careful! They do not use the correct jewelry to put in a fresh piercing!!! I will not be going back to this establishment because of that reason and I will be warning all of my friends that this could happen and to always look at the jewelry before you are pierced. TL;DR I got 3 piercings and they used very short ball threaded jewelry which then caused them to fall out and/or my skin to grow around and the jewelry had to be DUG OUT OF MY EAR SKIN. I went to Euphoria in the Vancouver mall and they were able to dig it out and replace my piercings with longer bars. End of story do not go to Columbia for piercings.

He has the steadiest hand of anyone I've ever known. I'm not sure what his secret is...perhaps no caffeine and constantly ensuring his blood sugar is at a healthy level. Whatever it is, it's working for him. Each time I've gone into the Parlor, I've known precisely what I wanted, bringing photos and photocopies of exactly what I want Ryan to replicate on my arm. And he does what you ask for with precision. But before my appointment today, I witnessed a planning session between Ryan and another of his repeat clients. Ryan was collaborative, listened closely to what the client wished to add to his "art gallery" on his arm, asked a lot of questions, made suggestions, and worked with the client to arrive at a plan for his upcoming sessions. And while my tattoos are simply done in black--essentially words and connected lines with a lifetime of meaning, and a signature that I envision tracing with my fingertips for the rest of my life--(Ryan is masterful at creating epic, vibrant masterpieces...check out his Instagram: Ryan_Sn3ll) what he has etched onto my arm are true treasures to me that evoke feelings of home and family and that hold my heart. I'm not sure if you can get better than that. Aside from Ryan's mad skills, artistry, and desire to ensure he gets it just right to leave you ecstatic about the results, he's just a good egg. He's a really solid, nice man with whom you could see yourself chilling or going for a bike ride.

Savanna I originally went to for some flash pieces but I love her work and she helped me do a custom piece just this last Saturday - and it's perfect!! She's thorough and precise. I will say she does take her time so if you are getting a larger piece, keep that in mind and probably don't plan anything after. THIS ISNT A BAD THING. I honestly like it because she makes sure she's got things done right. I will definitely be back probably way too soon. Of the photos the bright teal moth is from Coyo, the rest are Savanna.
