20 minutes of pain but I'm in love!
Ashley R.

I wandered into Mav's shop and got to talking about my idea of an inner wrist tattoo. He was very friendly, had great suggestions to keep in mind to get the best tattoo and within the next 1.5 hours, I left happy with my new ink. We spoke briefly, I brought in some fonts and he analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of each font. We agreed on one and he drew up some sketches. He came up with three and I fell in love with the last one, which is what I had envisioned. He asked me three times if the spelling was correct, which it was, but I appreciated his thoroughness before the tattoo. After 20 minutes, I was successfully tattooed. The shop is super clean and loaded with art. I felt comfortable with Mav and abilities, plus he was a great conversationalist. All in all, my ink cost roughly $150 before tax and tip. I will definitely recommend Mav!

Got a tattoo here for my birthday a month ago. Mav was one of the most professional, respectful, and engaging tattoo artists I have ever worked with. I highly recommend this shop to anyone with a penchant for ink, or a first timer. I hope more people post their art here, because he truly is quite talented.

Got an autograph signed by Michael Franti & Mav did an excellent job getting it all on point including the imperfection of the rubbed off sharpie. I'm a tattoo addict & definitely recommend Mav! Definitely coming back to him for more! ! ! CLEAN! PROFESSIONAL! & FUN! BIG THANKS MAV!!!

I initially chose Daela because I had an excellent experience with their laser treatments. Before…read morethis most recent visit, I had actually received injectable treatments there on two separate occasions with no noticeable results. However, because I was so impressed with the laser side of the practice, I wanted all of my cosmetic treatments in one place. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, believing perhaps the previous injectables had simply been an isolated experience. Unfortunately, after my third injectable treatment, I once again saw absolutely no visible improvement. From the moment I arrived, the appointment felt rushed rather than welcoming. No numbing cream was offered before the procedure, making the injections more uncomfortable than necessary. Upon asking for some numbing cream, while I was speaking, a foam-like substance was placed on my lips that went into my mouth, leaving an unpleasant taste and numbing the inside of my whole mouth. The entire appointment lasted only about 15 minutes, leaving me questioning how thoroughly the treatment had been performed. Most concerning was the outcome. There was absolutely no visible change whatsoever in the specific areas I requested to be treated, not even a subtle improvement. After three injectable appointments with no noticeable results, I felt compelled to share my honest experience and initially left a one-star review. Shortly afterward, Lina, one of the owners, reached out to discuss my concerns. My husband spoke on my behalf. During that conversation, I genuinely felt she heard my concerns. She offered complimentary laser treatments as a goodwill gesture, and I appreciated what I believed was a sincere effort to make things right. Because I felt my concerns had been acknowledged, I voluntarily removed my original one star review and replaced it with a four-star review. I did this because I wanted my review to reflect not only my disappointing injectable experience, but also the fact that I believed the business cared enough to address it. Unfortunately, that goodwill did not last. My husband then began receiving repeated harassing text messages telling him that I would not be allowed to use the complimentary laser treatments unless I changed my review again, this time to a perfect five-star review. He was told my account would be flagged and the complimentary treatments would not be honored until I rewrote the review to their satisfaction. That crossed a line for me. Reviews should reflect a customer's genuine experience, not be influenced by pressure or conditioned on receiving services. I could not honestly write a five-star review because it simply was not true. Money has never been the issue. I am happy to pay for excellent cosmetic treatments and exceptional results. What I cannot accept is paying for injectable treatments that produced no visible improvement and then feeling pressured to change my honest review in exchange for services that had already been offered as a gesture of goodwill. A medical spa should be a place where you feel pampered, cared for, respected, and confident in the treatments you receive. Instead, I found myself having to defend my experience, explain why I was disappointed despite seeing no results, and ultimately defend my right to leave an honest review. I appreciate that the owner initially reached out and attempted to resolve the situation. However, the subsequent pressure to change my review fundamentally changed how I viewed the entire experience. For that reason, this review reflects my experience in its entirety. I will be reporting Daela to the Oregon Medical board that regulates medical spas. I have decided to take my business elsewhere. There are many excellent providers for injectables and laser treatments, and I believe every patient deserves quality results, respectful treatment, and the freedom to leave an honest review without feeling pressured or manipulated.

Great business. The vibe here is all about customer service. They have amazing people working here…read moreand I've worked with 3 different artists and had tremendous results. As a breast cancer survivor I've gotten Areola tattoos and been so happy with the finished product. As well as micro blading for eyebrows (who knew chemo your eyebrows would have bald spots when they grew back) And eyeliner. Just for me.

The front door needs to be adjusted but I can forgive that. Our daughter had her choice of tattoo picked out for several months, a simple line drawing of four elephants, they charged $80. Very fair price, it took them both (my wife got the same tattoo at the same time) about 45 mins. my daughters work was done by someone who's name escapes me, sorry. My wife's work by Kevin. They both did a great job, my wife said today how little scabbing she is having and how smooth the tattoo is after just a few days. Our 18yo is thrilled with hers. She got hers on her ribs and her artist was very respectful that it was her first tattoo, making sure she was ok several times. This was a simple tattoo so I can't really speak to the artistic capabilities of the artists (the book up front showed fine artwork) but the place was clean and the people were very nice, professional and respectful to my young daughter.
