This review is based on my partner's experience there (I went along with him for his tattoo). I must say, I love the feeling of the inside of this shop. It's very clean, very cool decor, and the game cabinet up front was fun. My partner had a design drawn up by an artist friend of his, and brought it in to Jerry to see if he could get it tattooed. Jerry worked closely with my partner to clean up the designs to make them better for his forearms (where the tats were going) and worked with him all the way through the process. I have been getting a tribute to Stallone tattoo on my right arm with Jerry and the process has been amazing! I've had two sessions so far with hopefully only 1-2 more. While his hourly rate is higher than most in the area, you absolutely get what you pay for: excellent design skills, professionalism, clean studio, and friendly atmosphere. I cannot recommend them more! Clean, fun, relaxing, and chill environment. Jerry is such a cool dude, the other artists are fun as well. So much fun stuff to look at. I'm about 9 hours into my piece and I am no where near tired of coming in. They just make the sessions fun. I gave jerry a lot of creative control and I am so as I did! His work is amazing, lines are clean, and his shading is awesome. We have a couple sessions left to add some more details and finish coloring and shading. Everyone that has seen it so far is in love, even though who are not NBC or tattoo fans. This is THE place to go for a pop culture tattoo or for someone who wants a more fun and relaxed tattooing environment. When I moved to Washington, my previous tattoo shop was too far away, so I spent a long time researching about shops in Vancouver or North Portland. I'd read about the shop, but seeing it is just incredible. So many wonderful toys, pictures, memorabilia and art! A clean, well run shop and everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. Super friendly from the consult to the end result AWESOME ARTIST pumping out amazing art that we the client get to wear forever... With that said I found this shop because I had the opportunity of meeting Jerry prior to coming to the shop. My favorite shop ever! If you are into pop culture geeky items and/or tattoos you owe it to yourself to visit geeksterink legends. Collectibles shop in the front (toys, stickers, clothes, baby items, purses, funko pops etc) and amazing artists tattooing in the back of the shop. Jerry, Skip, Eddie are all excellent artists in their own rights and each has their own niche. Jerry did a Star Wars cover up on my back and you would never know he covered the huge tattoo I already had there. Some of these guys have traveled all over the county on tour, tattooing some of your favorite celebs at comic cons (jealous!). Although this shop is totally full of geeky stuff don't feel nervous to come in for something non geeky! The best parts to me is that it is completely family friendly and they do fundraisers and events to raise money/donations for local organizations in our community like art supplies for foster kids. Plus.... I heard a rumor that the 501st legion stormtroopers and the boba fett vette show themselves every now and again ;) follow them on fb and insta! read more
