Extremely unprofessional and rude. When I spoke to her over the phone she was super sweet and made…read moreme feel very comfortable but when I showed up to my first appointment it was completely different. Prior to this appointment, she never told me any rules. I have never done anything like this before so I brought my best friend/roommate with me for moral support. Also, I am a young woman and because she operates out of her house I wanted to bring my friend since it is an unfamiliar place. She opened the door and immediately started berating me for bringing my friend, saying I was "not normal" and "strange" multiple times for doing that. She said "I mean you're getting a brazilian, you really want her staring at your hoohah." She made me feel like I was weird when she was the one making it weird. I apologized multiple times and my friend said she would just go sit in the car, but she continued to make us feel so uncomfortable. She even said "I know I'm being harsh but if you really need her to sit and hold your hand that is not normal." After this experience I decided it would be better for me to leave as I did not feel comfortable doing something so vulnerable with her anymore. If you are going to get laser here make sure you do not bring anyone or you will be made to feel awful. Honestly I almost cried. Do not recommend.

I used to recommend this business to people in the Arcadia area but I won't anymore. I had some…read morenot-so-great customer service from them in the past but let it go as I assume maybe the receptionist was just grumpy and having a day. But it was on more than one occasion. It seems like they're annoyed if you ask questions. Which is usually what people do when they are uneducated about what you're asking and get uncomfortable. I was asking the receptionist who the first tech was that I saw who moved and then came back. Instead of making it a smooth conversation by just looking at my past appts to see who my techs were, she said, "do you remember their name?" No I just know it was the first girl I saw." "Ok well you've seen 3". Ok so the first tech." It was just going back and forth like she wanted to make things difficult and to keep asking me questions guessing the name of the techs. So I asked her if she could read me the names of the techs so I'm not guessing. Why do people purposefully make things more difficult? I am a Fitzpatrick 4 and when I called to ask about the Fitzpatrick scale, the girl didn't know what a Fitzpatrick scale was. Not a good sign. I only decided to come to hello laser for the specific laser GentleMax-Pro and they are extremely close to where I live. So basically out of convenience I'll give them a go. It wasn't until I called about one of my last appts out of 6 to see how long I should be off hydroquinone before doing laser. She didn't know what that topical cream was, which is shocking as it's a BIG contraindication with laser. She said, "I'm sure 48hrs is good." I said, "oh wow, really? Only 48hrs? Are you able to ask to make sure? I don't agree with guessing when it comes to laser and people's skin." She abruptly repeated again, "48 hrs." So I decided to wait 2 weeks to be sure and then go in for my laser. Glad I did. The lack of education and care of their customers, is frightening. Be careful customers. Laser is not a device to play around with. Once something goes wrong it's nearly impossible to undo. With laser studios, you sign your life away so they can't and won't be held responsible if something goes wrong. Even if they guided you incorrectly. Those girls have way too much downtime and not having enough knowledge. Maybe they should be studying so they can learn proper contraindications with medications and devices before booking anymore appts. And stop arguing with customers. It's extremely unprofessional.

I had such a great experience at NakedMd from start to finish!…read more Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by friendly front desk staff. After completing my paperwork on an iPad, I was walked to my room where I was seen by an assistant, cleared by an online nurse, and immediately prepped for my treatment, which was microneedling. Within minutes, the person performing my treatment came in and explained the entire process. She was extremely professional, informative, and absolutely friendly. I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience and really enjoyed the overall vibe of the clinic. I was also squeezed in for lip filler with a different injector as I added this last minute, and that experience was amazing as well. My injector really listened to my areas of concern and was extremely thorough when it came to placement. I had specifically requested filler in a certain area, but instead of simply injecting where I asked, she took the time to explain why that particular area should not be injected and explained how filler could be placed differently to achieve a better result. I also went in fully prepared to get a full syringe, but after assessing my lips, she told me that a half syringe was completely sufficient for what I was looking to achieve. I really appreciated that she didn't recommend more product simply because I was willing to pay for it. To me, that says a lot about the integrity of the team and how patient-focused they are. And lastly, I didn't experience any upselling or pushiness from any of the staff. They made recommendations for treatments they felt could benefit me, but there was never any pressure to purchase or do something I wasn't interested in. I think there's a big difference between making appropriate treatment recommendations and being sales-driven, and my experience here was definitely the former. I do want to mention that before booking, I called ahead and confirmed pricing, which I would recommend everyone do beforehand. They offer several different products, and each one can provide different results, so it's definitely worth asking questions and making sure you understand what you're getting and the associated cost. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend! Everyone was welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant to work with. I will be back for my Dysport.

I went in as a first-time client after seeing an advertisement for what I understood to be Botox…read more Even when I arrived, "Botox" was the term being used. It wasn't until I specifically asked what substance was actually going to be injected into my face that I was told it was Xeomin. As someone completely new to this, I didn't even know there was a difference between Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport. Unfortunately, I didn't get the personalized experience I expected. I spent more time sitting alone in the room waiting than actually speaking with anyone, and I saw three different people in a very short amount of time. First, I had a FaceTime medical clearance that lasted less than a minute. She confirmed my name and birthday, asked about allergies, including bees, and whether I was pregnant or breastfeeding. Then an assistant told me I have very strong facial expressions and that the 10-unit Xeomin forehead special wouldn't do anything for me. She mentioned Botox and Dysport and suggested Botox might be something I should consider instead. She also recommended treating my 11s along with my forehead since is the same muscle. Based on her recommendation, I purchased the additional treatment for my 11s. That's where I started feeling confused. I was being told Xeomin probably wouldn't do much for me, while at the same time being encouraged to purchase more of it. As a first-time client, that didn't make me feel very confident about my purchase. The actual injector was very kind and gentle, and the injections were practically painless. She actually gave me the most useful information, but unfortunately, most of it came after I had already been injected since I asked all the questions once puzzling everything together. She explained that I could try Xeomin, Botox, or Dysport in the future to see which I prefer, that areas like my crow's feet could be treated gradually, and even explained the Nefertiti lift and injections around the jawline/neck area for more definition. I appreciated all of that information I just wish we had that conversation beforehand. I also wasn't comfortable with the syringe already being prepared when the injector entered the room. I never saw the vial or the product being drawn up. I'm not accusing anyone of doing anything incorrectly, but when something is being injected into my face, especially for the first time, I would appreciate being shown the product and clearly told what I'm receiving, how many units, and where they're going. I'm giving the Xeomin the full two weeks before judging my results, so this review is not about whether it worked. I genuinely hope I see some results. My issue is the overall communication and experience. I shouldn't have had to ask what substance was actually being injected after coming in believing I was getting Botox, or piece together information about the different products, dosage, treatment areas, and expectations from multiple people. It's my face, my money, and my comfort. I'm completely open to professional recommendations, including needing more units or trying a different product. I just wish someone had slowed down, asked what I wanted to achieve, explained everything clearly, before the injections and additional purchase. For a first-time client, a little more personalization, would have made a huge difference.

My experience involved two serious concerns…read more First, there was a discrepancy between the biopsy report, which described the findings as malignant, and the differential remarks. After seeking a second opinion, the diagnosis was determined not to be malignant. Told by the Scottsdale location. This is not to reflect other locations. Second, I experienced billing issues. I uploaded all requested information through the patient portal after reviewing the website, which indicated that my insurance company was accepted but did not clearly disclose which specific plans were covered. The office confirmed that my insurance was accepted, collected my copay, and provided treatment. I later received an unexpected bill. When I contacted Advanced Term billing, I was told that the claim had been denied. However, after verifying the claim, I learned that the insurance company had already paid the provider.
