I spent $10k and my before & after pics looked identical, except now I have a ton of scar tissue. Results were so non-existent that the employee helping me during my follow-up recommended I ask for either a refund or try the procedure again. Met with the manager and she said they absolutely do not do refunds but could try the procedure again. The problem is that after lipo the scar tissue the lipo creates acts like concrete, she explained, so it would be tricky and would require a more experienced Dr to come in. She then tried to gaslight me that I looked great and didn't need to redo the procedure. If that was the case, why did you accept me and my $10k to begin with?? When I tried to schedule a re-do I was ghosted. Would absolutely not recommend this company. I would have been better off spending a bit more to go under the knife to get real results. read more

I went to Laser Away for laser hair removal. I like the staff--professionally trained and friendly--but I am devastated by the lack of results. On my last visit, which I later learned was actually one visit short of the final session, I pointed out that I still had a lot of hair. Their response was to pressure me into buying more visits or "touch-ups." I decided to wait a few months to assess the actual results, and to my shock, most of the hair grew back. A few spots the size of a coin remained, but that's it. I've had laser hair removal before with a different company, 13 years ago, and I knew what to expect. I naively believed Laser Away would deliver on their promise. I spoke with the store manager and a nurse about my dilemma and the lack of results, but it's a huge headache not only because I still have poor results, but because I'm locked into a contract due in a year. I still owe more than $2,000 for a service that did not deliver the promised results. If I don't pay on time, the amount could balloon due to interest and fees, adding almost $3,000 to my debt. To make matters worse, the store manager offered no real solutions besides paying for more treatments at a discount or getting the missed treatment for free. I asked to speak with someone with real authority, and I was told there was nobody I could call and that I should wait for a return call. I am still waiting. read more

Showed up at 450pm for 5pm & 530pm appointments. I went into exam room. Waited more than 30 min. Nurse came in and asked for my cell number. No explanation given. She came back to see if I accepted the telemedicine text. My phone was with my purse. Again no explanation. Logged into Wi-Fi and spoke with someone who asked about 4 questions. 10 more minutes passed until nurse returned and did the hydrating facial. The room was freezing. Bright lights (dimmed when she started the facial). Facial seemed to last about 20 minutes. She turned lights up and showed me some yellowish liquid and said the facial was done and a lot of "good stuff" was removed. Meanwhile, my friend sat in the waiting room for almost an hour, did her telemedicine call and was told by the receptionist she needed to reschedule her appointment because they were backed up and the "GFE" was incomplete. No explanation of what the GFE was. She did not reschedule and asked for a refund. Was told she only had "credits". Asked if I could be refunded and was told no but credited her with a free service (which we are not interested in and will not return). I would not recommend a late in the day appointment. I was told by the sales rep (who executed my contract) that I'd "be back to normal in about 10 days." Fast forward 8 weeks, and I'm still struggling with swelling, tightness, and nerve discomfort that limits my ability to work out, play golf, or even live normally. The rep that sold me was not at the Scottsdale location. The staff there was fine, but the corporate customer service reps are horrible. When I tried to get a refund (or even partial credit for the mess this has caused), they offered a credit for alternative serhices--but only if I agreed to spend MORE money with them. Then the b*tch had the nerve to tell me CoolSculpting "isn't a replacement for a healthy lifestyle" and "not a miracle cure," which is ridiculous because for context, I'm not fat--I'm 5'9" and 170 lbs, with a good amount of muscle. I just wanted to tighten up some loose skin after naturally losing 45 lbs over the last several years. Their rep made it sound like a simple, low-risk procedure. It was anything but. I even tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company, but LaserAway fought it, and the charge stands. Now I'm out $1050, dealing with lingering complications from a procedure that was wildly misrepresented. The way their customer service treated me--condescending, dismissive, and unhelpful--is just icing on the cake. If you're considering CoolSculpting at LaserAway--BEWARE. Their sales pitch is misleading, their recovery timeline is unrealistic, and their customer service after the sale is downright nasty. It's like a bad car deal. Best way I can describe it. I have already left a review here but I just had to give another shoutout! Nikki, who works the front desk is probably the most patient receptionist o have ever interacted with. She did a lot of detailed explanation and set up for my maintenance package. I had a rough time understanding everything (I'm a little slow sometimes) but she never made me feel rushed nor did she get flustered with my 100% questions. Very honest and thorough. I reached out to corporate and was only offered two complimentary sessions and was told "results aren't guaranteed". I had Brazilian, legs, happy trail, and feet/toes. Even my toes have hair still! It's not just patchy, my entire leg still has hair after 12 sessions. When I went in for my 6th and final appt, the tech said she would turn it up a little higher since I was still seeing regrowth. I thought, "NOW it's going to be turned up? Just had a tattoo removal consultation with an extremely rude and pushy lady. First she says my tattoo was bad, I should just remove the whole thing instead of a portion of it like I had wanted. Immediately tells me it will need 10 sessions and it'll be $5,000 (she's only seen a picture and didn't receive any measurements). I ask if it can still be removed since part of it is scarred, she just tells me an RN will be doing the procedure, as if that answered my question. Caller pushed me into a financial plan. I got lip filler done here I now have 3 granulomas in my top lip due to inexperienced injectors. My financial issues were resolved with the business. However I have spent an extra 500 on dissolving the filler. I am mad that they would have someone in their office practicing on people when they don't listen to the clients needs and ignored my request to keep my lips the size they were just add a little projection she injected .4 into my lips and changed the entire shape of them.
