The chicken koobideh was flavorful and juicy. In fact, it was the juiciest koobideh I've ever had. The price was very reasonable at only around $15 (a steal for LA!). What I appreciated the most is the kind service. I could tell there was a lot of positive energy there. I'll be back whenever I'm in the area. In the meantime, I'm wishing them all the best and much success. Shukriya and merci!

In this case, a superb Persian restaurant had to move because of high rent. Instead, Kababe Grill did not give up and decided to relocate to the Kitchen Place (on Owensmouth), still in the Valley. This is a ghost kitchen site that is becoming a popular location, with numerous start ups, small businesses, even places that have been around. There is a wide range of cuisines that come out of the Kitchen Place (they rent small spaces) and it is the new home, for Kababe Grill. Keep in mind that all eateries that serve from the Kitchen Place only entertain take out orders (with no dining spaces). Luckily, Kababe Grill kept the same phone number and I was able to locate them here. As it transpires, I have been coming to this address for a while for another take out ethnic cuisine, from this cloud kitchen,. My carry out of the beef Koobideh plate lived up to its usual expectations. Was slightly over grilled (generally, I remind Persian restaurants about my requirement for juiciness in the kabob and forgot to do so on this occasion). I substituted the usual rice with Zereshk Polo, my absolute favorite. Grilled vegetables were good, but scanty in size. Growing pains? Service was friendly and courteous, as before.

Lemon Zest provided both delicious meals and excellent customer service, thanks to Natalie. We dined here on a busy Saturday night. We were seated immediately and didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our order consisted of 3 Combo # 1 with half rice and half salad, Chicken Lule Kabob with all garden salad, truffle Parmesan fries, Beef Kabob and Combo # 2 with half rice and half garden salad. Natalie also noted the fact that one of our family member has a peanut and tree nut allergy. We love dining at restaurants that accommodate people with peanut and tree nut food allergies. We have added Lemon Zest to our favorite restaurant list as we know Lemon Zest caters to families with food allergies. We also have shared and told our family and friends about Lemon Zest. The portions of their meals are plentiful and more than enough. The kabobs chicken and beef were all so tender and flavorful. The chicken and beef were not overcooked. The basmati rice was also cooked perfectly. We can't wait to come back to Lemon Zest and try other food items on their menu.

Chicken thigh is my thing and I have had way better at several other places like Original Kabob Factory in Glendale. This would not be a 4 star review if that is all I got. Notice how different places spell it like Kabob or kebab? The star here is the shish kebab. That was really good. I would stick to that going forward. If I only got that, it would be 5 stars. This is located in a ghost kitchen. Service was great. I called in my order and it was ready when I arrived. Definitely check them out.

Tucked inside a commercial building with multi kitchens, it's best to order ahead for pick up. The first time a coworker brought it back to the office, the aroma alone stopped people in their tracks. Within days, everyone was asking, "Where is that from?" Now our whole SF Valley office orders from here once or twice a week and we've been spreading the word to family and friends too! My personal favorite is the chicken thigh kabob lunch special: incredibly tender, juicy, and very well seasoned and marinated every time. I pair it with rice pilaf, hummus, a Greek salad, pita bread, pickled veggies, and their garlic spread... which deserves its own shout out. This garlic spread is everything! Beyond the food, William, the owner, brings such a kind and genuine spirit. You can feel the passion and care he and his team put into every dish, and it truly translates into the food. That's why when we recently catered lunch for a work meeting, Yallah Habibi was the only choice. William and his team went above and beyond: generous portions, incredible flavors, and nonstop praise from everyone (including coworkers from other offices who said they'd gladly drive over 100 miles to eat this food again). The catering spread consisted of humus and perfectly seasoned chicken to rice pilaf, house salad, BBQ tomatoes and jalapeños, garlic spread, pickled veggies, and plenty of pita; was outstanding. And dessert sealed the deal: flaky, sweet baklava and soft alfajores filled with dulce de leche, perfect with coffee or tea. We truly can't rave enough about Yallah Habibi. Order at your own risk - you will get hooked and find yourself coming back more often than you planned.
