Pagliacci Pizza has been a reliable local chain for many years. They were the de facto favorite pizza at work, too. Their pizzas seem to be consistent at different locations, no issue with this location also. We only do take-out, so no dine-in experience. We called in the pizza, and it was ready for pick up. No issue with service. We made a special purchase this time for the Pagliacci Pizza fundraiser for Maui. All profits from Hawaiian pizza sales are donated to Maui. I was surprised to see a Pagliacci in the area as I thought they were mostly in Seattle, so I popped in for a slice and a pie to go. The location was small but had enough seating for diners to sit and eat comfortably; I love how many windows this location has as the lighting is very natural and pleasant. The store seemed to have 3 staff total - one person making the pizzas, one taking orders, and one emerged from the back room to take someone else's order after me. I enjoyed watching the 1 guy make pizzas in their open concept kitchen, but was disappointed with the person at the front of the house as I felt she was lacking in communication skills. She had boxed up my slice but didn't tell me, so it got cold and stale as it waited on the counter, and I was only alerted that it was my slice when the whole pizza was ready. This was a bummer as I had meant to eat it while I waited, but I guess that's on me too for not checking in with her sooner. She did apologize vaguely when I went to collect the total order, as her male coworker had checked to see if I had gotten everything, and I told him I was still waiting on that slice. Oh well...lesson learned. Overall, the pizza was delicious and I will probably come by again in the future. I really love Pagliacci pizza. It's quick and it's consistently delicious. It is also one of the rare quick service restaurants where you can order one slice at a time! There's one all over the city and they are all open pretty late. I really like their vegetable pizza and all their seasonal slices. In my opinion, other than Zeek's and pizza bank, Pagliacci, has some of the best pizza in the city. If you like thin crust, you might not like it and you would prefer Pizzaola in Kirkland. Tried them first time and was pleasantly surprised . They have a great selection of veggie items on their menu. You order at the counter and they bring it your table. We had their special mushroom pizza that had a mix of different types of mushrooms such as criminology, enoki ( I think it also had some morels ) The pizza had a great flavor , the crust was great and the 13 inch was enough for sharing for two people. Would definitely try their other options. The place has ample parking and has both outdoor and indoor seating. The indoor is great but I wouldn't really recommend the outdoor seating. read more

Love love pags! There's only 1 time I remember getting a mediocre and burnt pizza on delivery, the one time I experienced this in 6+ years. Pags quality ingredients and genuine dedication to highlighting the best of Washington is very apparent when you look at their amazing seasonal menu. I live for their morel mushroom pizza and can't wait to have it again. Their crust is tasty and delicious, their toppings local, fresh and generous. They work with local farmers and are intense about good customer service. I love pags, I'm so so glad they exist and I highly recommend Pags to anyone who's looking for a taste of local Seattle, or just darn good pizza. read more

Unfortunately this place remains inconsistent. From a great pizza few weeks ago to getting two terrible cold pizza's delivered yesterday. Just look at the pictures for both pizzas. Again the jalapeños pizza is loaded with jalapeños as if I asked for extra jalapeños?? I could not even eat more than one slice. The crest on the pineapple pizza was not cooked. It was just doughy and my son had to cut the crest off . Both pizzas were just cold ... not even warm but cold. After over 20 years of ordering from this place o must say that I have truly given up. I don't mind paying premium for a pizza but not for this pizza. It has been always a risk to order. One great pizza for each few bad pizzas. I can't do it. This location has some issues . I am done and I have no interest even in getting replacement pizzas. It's such a waste of time and a bad experience. I haven't been by for pizza since before their remodel or I've had other people pick up my orders. I stopped in for lunch the other day and was really impressed by how beautiful it is on the inside. So light and bright! I liked the slice bar, but I think the slices get kind of soggy when they've been sitting out. My boyfriend and I visited Pagliacci (finally! I've never gone) and I'm so glad I was able to give it a try. I feel like it's a place everyone in Washington has tried EXCEPT me. This location seems to be good for takeout and delivery, that's it. We were hoping we'd be able to get pizza by the slice or at least eat in... But, nope. :( They just have a lobby. We did see that they're applying for a liquor license... So maybe they're expanding and will be a place for you to dine in? I'd assume so with liquor/alcohol being served. We ended up going with a medium Brooklyn Bridge, no green peppers or onions (boyfriend's modifications). We were given a wait time of about 15 mins, I'd say it took about that. The pizza was yummy, and I was super excited when it was finally ready because it smelled AMAZING. It looked bomb, too. It was suuuper good. The spicy pepperoni was super tasty and I'm allll about the extra cheese! Mushrooms were also a great touch to this pizza. I think my only complaint is that it was PRICY for what we got. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but... It was $30 for a bottle of water and a medium pizza. And that's for carryout! I'm not sure I'd choose to go back because of how pricy it is. In my opinion, Pagliacci makes some of the best quality pizza in the greater Seattle area. New York style with a thin inner crust yet perfectly chewy outer crust covered in quality ingredients. The Juanita location has consistently offered great taste, pretty fast servuce, and a friendly staff. I can't say that for all locations. You can order online or on the phone for all locations, pre-pay with a credit card, then get a text when your pie is ready (great during COVID restrictions). If you haven't tried Pagliacci yet, I highly recommend dropping in to buy a slice to try before ordering a pie. I'm sure you'll like it! Yes, it's expensive compared x to other national brands, but sooooo worth it! I just wish they had a Woodinville location to save me the 10 mile round trip. Personally, I absolutely LOVE Pagliacci! Honestly, it's my favorite pizza I've had in Washington, and I lived there for 25 years. It is my go to spot. Their centiolli is an absolute MUST - if you have not tried it, you need to!! It's absolutely delicious - frequently I will go and just order that, or that and a salad. I like their pizza too, I typically just get cheese but I've tried the margheritta, pesto primo, tomato gorgonzola and the italiano, each of which I enjoyed. Other than cheese, the tomato gorgonzola is my favorite! Their cesear salad and the pagliaccio salad are both wonderful. Most of the time I am pretty boring when it comes to salad and stick with ceaser, but at Pagliacci I REALLY love the pagliaccio salad! It's absolutely delicous and they do not skimp on the toppings... I would HIGHLY recommend! Also, they used to have a pesto pasta salad that was just about my favorite thing on this earth.. I haven't seen it on their menu the past few times I've been in, but it's on their menu online, so it would be worth asking them about it if you like pesto and/or pasta salads! I like it so well I even bothered to develop my own copycat recipe, which is always a huge hit when I make it for potlucks! Overall I think they have an awesome selection on their menu, with lots of creative pizza toppings that you wouldn't see at most fast food or fast casual pizza joints. Service has always been friendly, interactions with staff are fairly limited since this is more of a fast casual restaurant but I've never had any complaints. Ambiance, I think the restaurant is nice to sit in. Obviously it is more casual than a sit down place, but it certainly does not feel like fast food. Overall I HIGHLY recommend Pagliacci! It's really some of my favorite if not my favorite pizza, outside of some of the authentic Italian pizza that I had while literally in Italy, but I don't think that's a fair comparison. I really think Pagliacci Pizza is a top tier establishment, perfect for dine in, take out, groups, or solo meals! Plus, they have parking, which is very convenient in Kirkland. As far as chain pizza joints go, this one is pretty good. The Juanita location doesn't have tables, but it is has pickup and they can deliver from there. We got pickup since the delivery times were in excess of an hour: the wait time for picking up was only 20 minutes. Customer service on the phone was pretty good, and it was also good when I went to pick up the pizza at the store. The pizza is pretty pricey for chain pizza, but you do get a better quality product than other places. That said, $20+ for a medium pizza is quite steep, especially for flavors that you can easily get elsewhere. Some of their fancy flavors (peach? Zucchini?) are worth checking out though! There are a few spots in the lot for you to park in while you grab your pie. read more

So disappointed. It was like pizza soup. You can't even lift a slice without all of the toppings slopping off. I had to eat slices with a fork and despite the soup, the crust was hard to cut with a fork. The mushrooms were undercooked. It's not the non-dairy cheeses fault either. We've ordered nondairy from Jet City and it was definitely not soup on crust. $50 for pizza soup is unacceptable. This is also the second time this has happened. Their pizzas sound so great on their website with all these interesting toppings. I did not get the pizza I imagined. I won't be ordering Pagliacci again. The low rating is not because of the pizza, because Pagliacci pizza is the best ever, been ordering for over 20 years, it's for the service of this location. We ordered ahead for pick up at 2pm. I called at 130pm before I left to make sure that they weren't running late (it was super bowl Sunday so I figured they're slammed) if they're running late NBD but I'd rather not waste time waiting there and instead just leave later, cause we were going to pickup at a loc about 25 mins away from where I live. Anyways, the guy on the phone said "nope we're not running late, it should be ready at 1:55pm actually" so I said great and headed out and got there at 2pm. At 2pm it was not ready, in fact it wasn't ready until 2:25pm. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid. It's totally fine if they're running late, but be honest about it because I ended up wasting 25 mins sitting there as opposed to just leaving my house later. The worst part was that it was under my friends name Madi, 2 pizzas came out (which is what we ordered) and I saw him put it in the warmer box and on the shelve at like 2:20. At 2:25 I said "hey do you have an eta? It's been 25 mins, again, my order is for Madi" and he's like "OH! Madison? That's been ready for like 5 minutes..." Like yes. Madi is short for Madison. We love Pagliacci! It's a big step up in quality from Papa John's and Domino's, but also a big step up in price, and quite notably so. You can easily be expecting to pay $30+ for a largish pizza here, 4-5 times the price of other pizza places. That being said, the flavors are fantastic, the locations are fantastic and the service is great. When you call in an order you aren't actually speaking to the store but to a central call station which is actually more convenient than it sounds. Instead of running around making pizzas, they are much more focused and able to help you and hear you! If you've yet to try it out - give it a go! Treating a customer with respect is the base of a business. I had a frustrating experience with the Kirkland location, my preferred store of distance and quality. I decided to write my review not about food quality but the memories people leave behind. I received a call from my small kids asking me to buy pizzas when I returned home. After a hard day working, I stopped by the store, and a kind young lady who seemed new helped me place my order. She said pizzas would take about 15 to 20 minutes to get ready. I noticed that she realized it would take longer; she had a follow-up with Jeff, who claimed he was the manager. I heard he reposed her that it would take 35 minutes, and if the customer was unhappy, refund the money. Meanwhile, the young lady came to me and apologized for the delay. I understood her, and it could happen. While I was there, I noticed that Jeff was making pizzas for pieces over the counter, and every few minutes, when they got cold and no one came to buy, they tossed them away. I called him to let them know that I heard what he said and let him know that this is not the way to treat your customers. He approached me aggressively with wide eyes and an attitude, declaring it is what it is. I asked to talk to the manager, who said he was the manager. I passed on for a moment, and then I couldn't tolerate that to give business to this guy. I canceled the order, and after almost 30 minutes, I left Pagliacci. The most sad part of it is that when I get home, my kids are standing at the door and expecting their favorite pizza. read more

First, I'm long overdue for a review on this place. I have been ordering take-out/delivery for over a year from here. But I feel like I have a solid exposure to their food and customer service now. Overall this place is top notch! Pizza: It's not the best I've had by any means, but it is quite good. The openings are quality and always fresh. My biggest gripe is the crust, which is a very subjective subject! I prefer my pizza crust to be either thin and crispy (NY or brick oven style) or thick (Chicago style). There pizza crust is right in the middle. With that being said, it is the favorite pizza of my wife and kids in the area. They always have some fresh seasonal options that my family and I try out. Lots of them sound a bit different, and we have loved most of them! Salads: Their salads are top notch! I have tried them all and they are all great, but I always go back to their Pagliaccio Salad. Customer Service: This puts these guys from a 4 star review to 5 star. They are fantastic. I have never hand an inaccurate order. They have been on time every time except for once. One time they were late with a delivery by 25 minutes, they fixed it immediately without any complaints from me. They took 50% off of my order, and mailed me a $25 gift card!!!
