Now, it did take me some months to pick up my contacts because I travel for work. When I let them know about the issue with my contacts, they wanted my primary insurance information and stated I needed a new exam because my eyesight could have changed in 4 months. Why is that? We are told to go yearly, and I have never heard of someone's eyesight changing that drastically in 4 months. Not to mention, I can see the lettering on my monitors just fine with the glasses that I have had for two years. I did purchase the contacts, but I'm not sure I'll ever use them. I'll wait until the beginning of the year when my benefits start over and get a new exam from another place. This time I won't choose the place based on convenience. Also, it's funny with every other call, they left a voicemail to tell me my trial contacts were in and left reminder voicemails when they would call. I called today to see if my contacts were in, and they have been there since November 10th. I received no call and no voicemail.

Glad I called the Southlake location to confirm because they did not have the reservation!! Not sure what is going on with their reservations, but first it was disappointing that the online reservations are not honored and second that my re-booked reservation was not honored either.

First, the receptionist team is just amazing. So friendly, and so so helpful. They understand the value of complementing someone that is struggling to make a decision. They are just wonderful. I was really appreciative of the practitioner as well. She walked through every bit of the test results, starting with why, explaining the implications and offering constructive feedback that will prompt a person to want to stay ahead of their eye health. She's a bit younger, and kind of has this cool vibe I really liked. Those receptionists WORKED to see what was covered and what wasn't. By the time I left they had unexpectedly discovered that I would get 1 years worth of lenses free, and a discount on my glasses. They have plenty of designer brands to chooses from, some expensive, some not so much. I went with a midrange pair of RayBan glasses. I really love them. The turn around was 12 days, but even with the d, it was 8 days. They are closed during this time, but you can call and schedule pick ups. I will absolutely be using this place for the foreseeable future.

After returning them due to headaches it was the wrong prescription. Once returned from being corrected there were nicks on the inside of the frame and on one side of the lenses it was a bit up from what the other side was. When you would spray with the cleaner given to me it got in between the Lense and frame making it drip down my face before it dried in the lenses. After all I decided to get a refund, I paid 309.00 out of pocket yes, I agree with the 40.00 restocking fee charge but the other fees I paid for were not returned to me. Such as the 10.00 co pay, the 35.00 for the optomap, and 60.00 for the contact fit that is 105.00 that was kept by them. I have never heard of not getting refunded those fees restocking fee I understand that part. Very disappointed with the outcome. So after paying 309.00 out of my pocket I only get 164.00 I was excited to come here and it was upsetting. Then I was told I had to call my own insurance to tell them I had returned the glasses and so they can cancel the claim. I did and they were shocked to know that I the customer had to call them. I keep coming back as I trust my care to Dr. Steritz and since I have been wearing glasses for years I like the fact Eye Trends is not a Franchise or Chain Eyecare facility. Now we come to Dr. Martinez. She may be a fast talker, but she's patient. She explains things. Goes into detail what she's doing, what affect this has in determining your prescription and just all around informing you how your eyes work. She is a breather of fresh air.
