It's a little-known fact that they also do alterations in their costs are very competitive with local tailor's. To hem a pair jeans is only $10 and to use original him is only $17. They also do a great wash & press of dress shirts which I believe are now only $2.39, and obviously they do all other types of dry cleaning quilts wedding dresses etc. With cleaning places you want to make sure that you get great prices but also great service. I have a lot of expensive clothes and they have never ever made a mistake or ruined anything. Also comparing their prices are very reasonable prices for their cleaning. This place is highly recommended and I also referred all of my other business associates here. The other thing is that they go over and above to make the customer happy. I remember running in once having a ripped pair pants and they fixed it for me on the spot I also took my dad here when he lost a button and they fixed it on the spot as well. When I pointed it out, they refused to accept responsibility. The employee even told me at pickup, "this sometimes happens in the machines with delicate material." However, when I returned to show them the damage, she denied saying that and blamed me instead, claiming I hand-washed the shirt myself, which I did and I got the stains out myself. But I never left a run in the shirt by handwashing, they did it and even admitted it. I wish I would have recorded her. To make matters worse, she made an inappropriate comment implying I was afraid of my daughter being upset. I never said anything like that, I said she will not be happy with the big run in the shirt as she is very picky about her expensive Aritzia clothing! This comment was a completely uncalled-for and insulting assumption. What shocked me most was how unprofessional it was to overhear her talking to another customer about me, saying, "this is the customer I was telling you about." That kind of behavior is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for customer privacy. This business used to be reliable and professional under the previous owner. Since the new ownership took over, the quality of service and customer care has drastically declined. The prices have significantly gone up as well. I've since started going to a different dry cleaner in Ellerslie, the difference is night and day. They treat their customers with professionalism and respect. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place unless you want your clothes damaged, not cleaned and to be blamed for it afterward. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

The tailor saw right away what was wrong with the zipper and had a plan in place how to fix the problem. He indicated that the zipper needed to be stronger, wider and of a better quality. He suggested having a much better single zipper and for the zipper to not extend to the bottom of the parka. I readily agreed with him that this would be a perfect plan. Fabric would be put in place at the bottom. It also already had snaps. I brought it in on Tuesday and it was ready on Friday. I was ever so very happy with my parka and truly wonderful new zipper (YKK - great quality)!!! It works perfectly now and I have no difficulties with it! I was very satisfied with the service and always said I wanted my pants to be touching the floor without shoes on....every time! I don't know her name but i went in enough that she recognized me. I had taken in a pair of black linen pants and went through the whole scenario of trying them on, have them touch the floor without shoes and then I just picked them up a few days later. I didn't try them on right away because I've never had a problem. I took them with me on a trip a couple of weeks later. When I put them on, they were a solid inch and a half too short. I can't wear them. I took them back in to see if maybe she could let the hem down but it didn't look like enough fabric was left. She said 3/4 of an inch was all she could do But I would have to pay, Again!! I got pressed about having a receipt. I had taken another pair of pants with me that day that needed to be hemmed. I thought maybe she would even offer to do those for free for compensation, but the only solution was for me to pay for her to fix what she did wrong in the first place.
