Hand-cut tiles with tinsnips. Should bew a 2" valley on both sides of center.
Michael Todd T.

Absolutely Terrible! This company has made my house a nightmare for the last 8 1/2 months. Started on my roof in Oct 2022. I decided to go with a speciality product on my roof (Tilcor-Stone Coated Metal) and remove my heavy concrete LifeTiles. I had structure issues due to the weight of the tiles. The owner, Mark Paez and myself talked for a couple of years before decideding to do the job and he assured me that it was a job that he could handle. At the last moment (litterally the day before) the sub-contractor backed out on him and he had to scramble to get someone else. Mr. Paez assured me that his good friend Ramon could handle the job. Well, in January after many conversations, questions and concerns I had no choice but to pull Ramon from the job after it becoming very clear that the roof was not being installed properly. The cuts were being made by hand, the fasteners (screw and nails) were being placed in the incorrect locations and the overall appearance of the roof was poor. Tilcor provides detailed instructions and guidlines on installing their product and it was all available and provided. I personally purchased $40K+ in materials and paid another 10K+ labor and now I am stuck having to pay another $40K+ to redo, repair and finish the job. When I had another roofer at my residence to look at my roof and give me an opinion and quote on reairs Mr. Paez showed up and started verbally attacking the roofer and myself and after being asked and told multiple times to stop and and leave and refusing to do so local law enforcement had to show up and make him. (5 police cars showed up) Very embarrassing to have to explain to all of my neighbors. In the end, Mr. Paez has had multiple oppurtunities to make things right and refuses to do so. Mr. Paez has refused to provide his insurance info or to respond to demands letter from attorney. (He did call back attorney once but has since gone silent) Now I have no choice but to file in court to try and recover something.

New Generation Painters - Freshly painted kitchen cabinets

New Generation Painters

I've recently used their service. While I was skeptical about interior painting (as it's something…read moreI've never had done before), the finished job came out nicely and I appreciated their service. There was a miscommunication at the start of the project, but in the end, I left satisfied. Julio and his guys did a good job and I feel like my place has more life to it than it did before. For that, I am thankful. Fortunately, I did my own research when it came to the type of paint I felt I should get, where to get it, and approximately how much. Tips/pointers were provided by Julio which I feel were helpful to a newbie customer like me. Overall, I'm happy I chose to use these guys. Pros Courteous and prompt Reasonable pricing Communicative Honest & Helpful Quick and mostly efficient (completed in 1 day) Cons Ended up paying more for paint than what I needed Slight damage to furniture (this was compensated though) Would I recommend? Yes. Would I use again in the future? Yes.

Took me a while to post this review. I found them on Yelp hoping the reviews are legit. Some of…read morethem probably are. And as much as I would like to give them a good review, them being our last contractor before we finally moved back in our house (after 20 long months of being displaced after Hurricane Beryl), it has been stressful cleaning up after the mess these guys have done to our home. And to this day, we're still finding paint splatters on floors, appliances, furnitures, doors; unpainted areas; uneven paint; it never ends. If you own a home, and you have things inside your home, don't hire these guys. They don't respect your property. Shoe prints on top of our table cover, it's so bad we had to throw it away. We had just installed wood floors on our stairs and there's a lot of scruff marks a thick dirt that we had to scrub it clean. They painted over nails. Paint was dumped on our toilets and sinks, and on our lawn. A simple search confirms that these are ILLEGAL. They tried to deny it but then later admitted to it when confronted. We brought up a lot of these issues shortly after they "finished" and they did come to try to correct many of it. And for that, I give them credit for. But I'm still finding paint splatters on several items, to this day, as we're working our way towards fully settling back in our home. ADDITIONALLY: before they came, we had our home thoroughly and professionally cleaned twice by another contractor specializing on air quality. And those cleaners have video proof of their work so we have evidence of the condition of our home (cleanliness-wise) before these painters roughed it it. I'm truly disappointed and I don't recommend this company to anyone at all.

I am moving into an older property and got some new interior and exterior doorframes installed on both the front and back doors that needed to be painted ASAP. After a few leads going cold, and a lot of unprofessionalism, I stumbled across Project Pro and Robert is extremely professional, warm, and easy to talk to. He charges an hourly rate and gives you a pretty accurate window of when your project should be finished up front. Communication is great, Robert was always quick to answer or call back. He tries to save customers money any way he can, and he and his team take pride in their work and really want to hear and see that satisfaction come out of you before they call it a job well done. Just a very personable, efficient, and great small company that shows a sense of urgency and respects your time and money spent no matter how small or large the project, these guys are going to make sure you are taken care of and not ignored. I highly recommend Project Pro to anyone! Thanks again guys for the great service! Y'all are one of a kind!

We have had the dated, busted up cabinets in the kitchen for 26 years. They were gross and several drawers were broken. Robert gave me a competitive quote and was very responsive and thorough. This included walls, ceilings, baseboards, doors and even refinishing the kitchen cabinets. They were so easy to work with-- from the quote to scheduling the work and following up for touch ups. It couldn't have been easier which was surprising given the size of the project. They are bonded and insured and have a supervisor who manages the whole project end to end. The painting of everything turned out really well. The best part though by far was the kitchen cabinets. They were a very light oak color; nice cabinets but a bit outdated in terms of color. The team removed the doors, took them offsite to sand them down and spray them. They turned out perfect-- I get compliments on them all the time. They also refinished a stair banister and fireplace mantel. Both were painted black so these were no small jobs. We had these painted white as well and they turned out beautifully. Their prices were fair, their work was great and the overall project management couldn't have been better. I highly recommend Next Door.
