    Chicken and plantains

If you need some fresh/good chicken legs and a bang for your buck this is your spot. This was a $7 leg plate which I also added fried plantains so the total came out to $10, so worth it. Pikliz comes with each meal and they give you plenty, but in my opinion the chicken could be seasoned a little bit more. But it's still a good grab and go type of chicken and a bang for your buck! 7.8 out of 10

When I pulled up to this place I was surprised that I always passed it but never paid attention. That being said this place may not look like much but that fried chicken was everything everyone hyped it up to be. I did call to place an order and I would say for people who have never dined here it is confusing. I couldn't find a menu or website so when I was ordering I realized you can pay for each drumstick which is $1! The plantains are 3 for $1. Large rice $4 but its best to just get a plate if you want everything. The customer service on the phone was surprisingly good. I was honestly holding my breath but the gentleman on the phone was patient with me. In store, I didn't have to wait long either to pick up my order which is another known issue with Caribbean restaurants. The chicken drumsticks are huge. Crispy on outside, moist inside. The plantains were better than most places I've had. Rice and beans were good enough. Pikliz was good but I do like it spicier. Passion fruit juice was $3 and good but missing acid. All in all super cheap meal. Large portions. They take card and cash. Not Apple Pay at the moment.

The best fried chicken I've had in a long time. $14 for 10 drums, rice and beans, plantains, and pikliz. They packed it in aluminum foil so I guess you could bake it easily when you got home for convenience. We couldn't find the menu and everyone seemed like regulars, so not sure what else they offer tbh. Good amount of street parking around. There's a couple of big round tables, but most people just grabbed and go.

A must stop when I'm in the area!! I've been coming for years and it never gets old. I usually get a $5 order of the chicken and plantains(tostones) a watermelon soda and a $3 cup of the pikliz because the complimentary size does me no Justice. There's never a good time to go in terms of there not being a line so please pack patience because it is worth the wait!!

You enter to a long counter and a vast open space with a couple of tables. Pretty quickly you realize that the people standing, leaning, sitting around, and watching a Haitian soap opera in the corner, are all well aware of each other's place in the service queue. "Next!" A father and daughter slowly t towards the counter, placing their order using hand signals as they approach... the ladies behind the counter move deliberately to pack up two chicken dinners to go. I quickly made a mental note of everyone there ahead of me as more people filtered in. After a while, I was up! It turns out they only had chicken, rice, bean sauce and pikliz ... so no challenge ordering. Although, I wanted extra pikliz. That added some complication ... my requests and attempts at pantomime resulted in blank stares until a fellow customer offered up some help. He explained that they couldn't believe I wanted extra pikliz ... because it's spicy.

Other worldly for Miami. Rough around the edges, but a must for any fired chicken fan. Great deals in Miami are extinct? Enter the $1 pieces of flavorful, mega crunchy, deliciously fired chicken drumsticks form Pack. The salad is perfumed by vinegar and what seems light habanero but less spicy. A great break from the rich fried chicken. Calling the decor minimal is an overstatement but that's just my kind of place. Service as quick and friendly.

If you drive by too fast you'll miss it. It's a big pink building with no flashy signs or polished exterior. I first heard about Pack from coworkers raving about it. I never realized I lived less than 5 min away. My first experience was confusing. You walk in, no menus on the wall just a old printed piece of paper. Pretty basic to understand though and I opted for the "special". Fried chicken, rice and pikliz for $5, I added a Jupina and paid a total of $6. Like how can you beat that? The chicken visually looks good but when you take a bite it's like wow, wasn't expecting that. Was packed with flavor. I will say sometimes when I go it is too salty for me but that's just my own personal taste buds. They go in order first come first serve. One person takes your order, prepares it and cashes you out. Not a long process though. Some of the ladies English are minimal but I don't speak creole and I've never had an issue with ordering. The women are always nice and delicate. I've had the griot and the fried chicken and I feel the fried chicken is a better deal overall. I get the white rice which comes with a side of like Haitian black bean sauce ... sorry I don't know the proper name :( . Or you can get rice and peas instead. Easy, quick filling me. I usually can only eat half and save the other half for later. So essentially I eat 2 times out of it for $5. Great bang for your buck.

In the heart of Miami you'll find some of the best fried chicken you've NEVER had, be warned this place is as authentic as it gets , get a plate of some five dollar chicken Comes with with a side of spicy cabbage And grab yourself a drink (that's extra ) take it to go and enjoy , these type of places will forever make Miami a Food capital shows that the restaurant's doesn't have to be fancy to provide some amazing food this is what soul food is! @HungryBeardBelly

This Hole-In-The-Wall is located North of 79th Street on North East 2nd Avenue. And it is a literal Hole-In-The-Wall, because you can order your food through a window without going inside. This joint has been ranked by the New Times as "The Best Fried Chicken In Miami" many, many, many times! And deserves every accolade. I've been here several times and it has yet to disappoint. As far as the chicken is concerned, they only have Drum Sticks. And also have Griot, beans and rice, fried plantains and the ever wonderful......Picklees! The Chicken is marinated in some ancient secret spices, unbreaded and Fried to Crispy Perfection! Moist, juicy and succulent, the Chicken can be a bright spot in a dim day! Relatively inexpensive 4 pieces and some plantains will set you back about $5! The Griot is Crispy, Juicy and delicious! Rice and beans are the perfect side dish. There are juices and various other thirst quenching beverages offered. Pack Super Market is a secret among those in the know and is quickly becoming the best not so well-kept secret in town. Hurry and try the Chicken and other Creole stuffs before it becomes a Starbucks or a Pilates studio!

Pack Supermarket's Fried Chicken is the best in Miami. The chicken with a side of pikliz can't be beat.

We love Cajun food, so we were excited to try it, and the gumbo did not disappoint. I was starving and completely forgot to take pictures of the étouffée my bf got, he said it was good, definitely creamier than traditional, which made it a bit of a risk for me since I'm allergic to dairy. I had a Shirley Temple, and my boyfriend had a Bloody Mary that he said was good... although I have to say, the green bean garnish threw me off a little I've seen some wild garnishes, but that one made me laugh. I got chicken tenders with tots and red beans and rice everything was solid. The music was great, the atmosphere was lively, and even with the rain keeping us off the patio, we had a great time. We'll definitely be back to check out the outdoor space on a nicer day.

We stopped by Voodoo Bayou, a Cajun-inspired restaurant that definitely did not disappoint. We went during happy hour, which runs Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM (bar area only). Right away, we noticed how friendly the staff was, and the ambiance was absolutely amazing. I also heard they have live music on certain nights, which makes me want to come back even more! Now, let's get to the food. I decided to try the fried oysters, and listen... for my first time trying oysters, I was hooked! They were so good that I ordered a second round. My husband ordered the hickory-smoked wings, and let me tell you, these are a MUST-TRY. The flavor was incredible! Of course, we couldn't leave without ordering their famous beignets. OMG! They were absolutely delicious. If I had any room left, I would have ordered another plate. And how could we order all that food without some drinks? You know me better than that! My husband ordered the Black Magic Lemonade with bourbon, and it quickly became his favorite drink of the day. Then he spotted an Old Fashioned on the menu, and there was no way he was passing that up--he was in heaven! As for me, I ordered the Frozen Hurricane, and let me just say... it definitely did the job! This place has officially made our list of favorite happy hour spots. We can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. And of course, I'll be bringing all my foodies along for the journey! Until next time, my foodie lovers!

They were amazing along with the ice cream. The first bite had my eyes rolling in the back of my head. Honestly I could have had a plate of those and nothing else. There was a homeless person bothering us because we ate out on the patio. I wish management could have said something. Otherwise, sitting outside was nice.
