Had my things in storage here for 3 years, not climate controlled but everything was safe and undamaged

Had a challenging situation with a previous storage place and there guys basically saved the day. I was so grateful for their help as I had to sort through a bunch of stuff and that an ex left me with . It was a really hot day as I transferred my stuff and this couple were so worried about me . You can tell they actually care about their customers ! read more

Amazing services! We have a storage unit and our camper there. They go out of there way to accommodate us as we our from the east coast. Sandra and Myriam. read more

We used these guys to store our Burning Man gear and they've been absolutely fantastic. Every time we've shown up- before and after the festival, as well as during the year to organize and prep- they have been very friendly. They always provide water, and their facilities are amazingly clean and well maintained. They are very responsive by phone and email, and their prices are very competitive. They also go above and beyond to accommodate burners- Immediately after the burn they also have snacks (cold fruit, for instance) and ice cold water. If you're a burner than I can not recommend this place enough. Even if you aren't I would still recommend them. read more

Our Burning Man camp, It's All Made Up / Home Rule Village (many of you will know us as SkyBar) have been with Pack-It Stor-It Park-It Mini Storage since 2013. This means we have known one owner and two sets of operators, currently Wendy and Ken. In our 10 years we have developed relationships with a few amazing core service partners. Since the beginning PSP set the standard on what that means. When we arrive, either early or late, they have either been ready for us or we have created a solution together. We have always been able to call about anything we need. While we always try to be as prepared and self sufficient as possible, when something doesn't go as planned or plans have shifted they have always done whatever they could to help us close the gap. In our experience, objectively they do more to support what Burners (for all of our finesse, and occasional calamity) need than any other storage center we have heard of (24 hour build and breakdown week access, receiving occasional last minute packages, complimentary water and snacks, always a place to use the bathroom, etc.) And while this has made ALL the difference for us on several occasions (including a few legit miracles in the 8 years we have been with them), the things that sets them apart from anyone else we work with is their totally consistent and unparalleled spirit, interest and genuine kindness they have always shown us. This has frankly made us want to do whatever we can to be a good customer and support the spirit and execution of how they run things. If what I am saying seems unusually over the top about a storage service, you are right. But my review is not really about storage service. It's about how people show up to one another. What underlies our partnership with PSP (and that's what it feels like) is respect. This is not something you buy with money or write into a contract. It is a living thing that you create together. I have been an entrepreneur for nearly 25 years and have seen and worked with hundreds of small (and larger) businesses. I have supported both sides of this equation and will be the first to tell you that the customer is NOT always right. Sometimes there are legitimate grievances. And sometimes the customer is not prepared, doesn't understand (or hasn't read) the scope of a service agreement, and sometimes they are just an asshole who wants to punish someone when they don't get their way. You can always tell the reviews of this last group. I happened to see a situation like this unfold over a few days in the background. I saw Wendy patiently (and repeatedly) explain why they couldn't break the rules while offering some options (to someone who clearly hadn't thought through why those rules existed at all, and although I don't know the details seemed, increasingly, like someone who didn't have a habit of thinking more than 24 hours ahead). For my part, what I really saw was Wendy being a stand against some valueless foolery that could have easily been disastrous had it gone sideways. I frankly felt protected and was grateful, though not at all surprised, to see how things are handled and protected if I am not around. Ken is like a storage service / solution / idea operator out of your dreams. He has legitimately saved our butts, capably and creatively, when all the chips were down, and we were more than happy to thank him with a bonus for help he frankly didn't have to offer after everything else he already did. But that's who he is. Wendy and Ken have always treated us like we are part of the business, or their family, and for all intents and purposes they are part of our camp, our family. It didn't take very much for us to get here. I would also like to note that we have recommended PSP to anyone who asks, and the two camps whose turns came up on the wait list have been happy clients since then. Do your research, be the respect you want to see, imagine what it would take to run PSP like Wendy and Ken do, and get your name on the waiting list. read more

I had a great experience here in August 2016. I left my car there during Burning Man. The couple that runs the place were super friendly, especially the woman, who was very patient and flexible with me as my arrival time was fluid due to the long drive. The facility is very clean and well maintained. If you park your car outside like mine and use a car cover, make sure to really strap it down. Mine came up from high winds. Nice people, nice facility, I'd use it again. read more

These people absolutely suck. So rude and totally disrespectful. If I didn't know any better I think they tried to take advantage of my wife cause I was to sick to come. If you are considering these people especially Wendy complete untrustworthy read more

Would click a negative star if possible. These are the rudest couple in town. Rotten customer service. Were disappointed the first time we rented - shame on us for trying them again. Second experience worse than the first. Please someone post if the management has changed. Until then, we'll drop our dollars elsewhere. read more

Been renting a unit for the past two years or so. Always clean, very secure and wonderful service. Can't say enough about them!!
