We ordered the agua scallop ceviché, whole fried fish and NY strip. Everything was absolutely delicious. The fried fish was moist and beautiful. We ordered Ricky Martin and Boy from impanema for drinks- again amazing. U can't go wrong ordering anything off this menu. We are not in Saco Maine anymore! Wow. The atmosphere is NYC Fun. High Ceilings awesome lighting, wood, brick and a great bar. Great Latin vibe, great music and just a welcoming place. For us it was an escape from fried seafood, pizza and just ordinary blah food. My husband had the Pollo Mole. Hesitant to order it because the mole is is generally gloppy. Not so here. The sauce was light and perfectly seasoned. I had the Pork Belly and beans. Mouth watering is honestly all I can say. Crispy juicy delicious in every way. I know I'll order something else when we go back but it will be hard not to repeat this awesome dish. Drinks were great! Dessert ;Panna Cotta so light and refreshing. This restaurant is going to be around for a very long time. Once Covid is over it will be booked solid. Their cocktail menu is insanely creative and is what keeps me coming back. The desserts are also on point. The design of the space is super interesting and you can tell a lot of thought went into making the space feel special. The food menu satisfies the need to call it South American cuisine :P it needs some work. I've tried several of the ceviches and was never super excited about them. My sister ordered a vegetarian option and literally got a side of rice and vegetables and was charged something like 25$ for it..I once got the steak option and it was super overcooked. My friends and I will typically get dinner elsewhere and then bop over to have cocktails and desserts here. read more

I've been here twice in 3 days - first with friends and then with my family. Every appetizer we had was delicious, but especially the guacamole. I usually don't like pineapple but I loved this. The staff were all terrific. There were vegetarian options, particularly because the appetizers are big. My only regret is no decaffeinated coffee or tea to have with my lava cake (it was a little chilly out at that point). I would happily come here again when I'm back in the area. read more

Last night I brought my 15 year old grandson. He is an adventurous eater. It was fantastic, he had octopus and tuna tartare. i had the whole fish. Dessert was chocolate lava cake and i had pan a cotta. The service excellent, presentation of the food was beautiful and the taste was the best. My fish was light and flavorful. i have never had such flavorful fish. My grandson enjoyed every bite of his dinner. The pan a cotta with puréed passion fruit was the best. will definitely go again. We arrived for our dinner at our reservation time. They restaurant has just opened for the evening. Pros: First impression of the location/building was really nice. It is very nice inside and is beautifully decorated. The outside patio looks like it would be a great place for a summer cocktail. The menu was interesting. Our waiter was pleasant and friendly but appeared to be very busy. Like most area restaurants, this one seemed short staffed. Cons: The host was not friendly or welcoming. She seemed like a mad teenager upset to be working on a Saturday night. The food was just okay. First course was the pan-fried cheese with quava onion jam. It tasted delicious but was not warm at all by the time it was served and was like a block of cold cheese with jam on top. Second course was the Pork Belly with rice. The pork belly was pan fried so crispy, I couldn't bite into it. Someone left it on the stove WAY too long. The accompanying rice was a dry 1/2 cup portion. To top it off, I had a terrible stomachache after my meal. Not sure I would try it for a second time. read more

An absolute gem, the food is phenomenal and the cocktails are fabulous - you forget you're in Biddeford. As a tip, don't bring kids with picky appetites, as there isn't a kids menu, but adventurous kiddos will enjoy just as much as any adult. read more

My new favorite restaurant hands down. The halibut ceviche hits the nail on the head, exactly like I ate when I lived in Chile. I'm not sure what all the high reviews are about. I have tried this place several times. First time was when they first opened and the prices were on the higher side, but you could still share small plates with people and the steak was only $25. Fast forward to now, soooooo overpriced. Nothing memorable. The cactus tostada was just plain bad, overly sweet, stale chip, small. about four bites. I love cactus and just had a whole meal of it at a mexican restaurant for less than this tostada. The scallop ceviche used to be complex here, but now it is just swimming in lime juice. They are literally charging $20 for mushrooms and I am so glad we didn't get them, because I am sure I would be kicking myself like I am now just for going here again. We went and ate somewhere else after sinking over $40 on a beer and two "apps". Don't get the cheese, just because it is the cheapest thing on the menu. It is just a small chunk of cheese with an odd rubbery texture. I know people are really looking at Saco/Bidd to be the new Portland, but just making things expensive doesn't mean it is worth it. I will say their products they get are high quality, but the food doesn't represent that. read more

We stopped in tonight for our first visit after seeing reviews online. We started with drinks, which were extremely strong for both my boyfriend and I. I asked the waitress if it was possible to get it "cut" with something and the bartender tried her best to make it better. Maybe it just wasn't the right drink for me? We had the fried cheese and tuna tartar which were both good but not out of this world for the price. My NY strip was good but cold and my boyfriends pork belly was flavorful but pretty dry. The highlight of the meal was the garlic aioli they serve with the fries. We finished the meal with the French roast coffee and the tres leches cake. Both of them were good but again nothing to write home about. We'd definitely try it again but not sure it's worth the money! read more

What a spectacular surprise! Sophisticated cuisine from South America. The Pulpo seared octopus appetizer with tostones was out of this world. Our entrées of aji gallina, a piquant chicken over rice with olives and walnuts, and arroz pacifico, mussels and shrimp with rice, were both superb. Service is cordial and prompt and it was an absolute delight.there is a lot more to Latin cuisine than tacos. Experience it and enjoy it here! read more
