Enjoyed being on the patio they provide heaters and plastic to help make it more enjoyable when the weather is cooler. A variety of seating options. Nice decor. Friendly staff. We ordered just appetizers. The street corn could have used some chips. I told the server it was delicious but I think they can afford to add a small handful of chips for dipping. The seasoning of the dishes was great. I have no doubt the flavors of other items would be nice, I think we might be used to $18 entrees coming with something else, We saw the tacos and realized that the price only included the taco. Aside from that I see why this place was super busy.

After reading multiple reviews, I had very high expectations for this establishment. When we arrived, there was a 30 minute wait. I highly recommend making a reservation. We were seated on the patio and ordered our drinks. I had a spicy margarita and my husband had the Old Fashion. The margarita was in a short glass and tasted like it was made with well tequila. Very disappointing given the $14 price tag. For an appetizer, we had the blue fin ceviche. It was very good. Finally, our waitress recommended the tacos. We ordered the brisket and fish taco. The brisket taco left alot to be desired. Very little flavor. The fish taco was covered in a cream sauce that overpowered the taco. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food. Definitely overpriced given the portion size and quality.

Food is amazing. You can smell the BBQ around the whole block. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Great place to sit outside on a nice day or inside if you want. Top tier tequila available and seasonal fun drinks. This is a place you should not miss

Tried lunch on a snowy Saturday. Got seated right away and our waiter approached quickly. He definitely was looking for us to order drinks and when we didn't his interest quickly waned. We need a minute with the menu and decided to try a special ( chicken empanada), a brisket and chili cheeseburger and queso with tortilla chips. The burger was delicious, juicy and loaded with flavor. I liked the high top and appreciated not having people on top of us. It was also not loud, easy to have a conversation. Everything was quite good but the server was pretty uninterested and seemed to be in a rush. He never came to the table after our food came out. I find that annoying as we had head good things about the place. We'd go back for the food but not for the service. 4 stars for good...for service I would give 2.

A Tex-Mex BBQ joint in Portland Maine! I wasn't sure what to expect but I was met with a cool vibe and good food, wasn't like it is back home but we had a great experience here. We got here a bit earlier than our reservation and were promptly seated anyways!

Delicious food and friendly staff! Terilingua serves Texas-style barbecue with a Mexican twist. They are known for their house-smoked meats and variety of sauces. Their decor is between modern and homestyle. Many warm colors. Mom and I ordered off their happy hour menu. Staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. I ordered the Enchiladas. The enchiladas had chicken, chihuahua cheese, red chile sauce, crema & cilantro. The chicken was tender and I love that it had a little spicy kick to it! My mom ordered 2 sliders: pork and brisket. My mom never had sliders but she loved the presentation of them. Both meats were very tender. For happy hour options, they were both very filling.

You wouldn't expect to find BBQ this good in Portland, but the reviews don't lie--this place lives up to the hype. We ordered a mix of grilled meats--brisket, pulled pork, and more--and everything was incredibly tender and juicy. You barely needed a knife. There were a few different sauces to choose from, all full of flavor and perfect for dipping. The side salad was actually impressive too--not just a pile of lettuce, but packed with fresh, Mexican-inspired ingredients. We also tried the ceviche, which was super fresh and bright, served with crisp house-made chips. Portion was a little small, but definitely worth it for the quality. The outdoor patio is beautiful and gives you the feeling of being somewhere in Latin America. It's dog-friendly, the staff is warm and welcoming, and they seem to be known for their tacos too--definitely coming back to try those next time.

Had a delicious birthday dinner here back in September where I devoured the fish tacos! The atmosphere was so fun, and sitting outside felt a little magical too. Would recommend!

I've had this place bookmarked for a while and my brother recently read about it, we're here for the month so we decided to finally try it out. Holy macaroni, it was DELICIOUS!! We all loved our meals. We got the queso to start with. We couldn't stop eating it. My Dad and I got the Smoked Pork Carnitas Tacos and my brother a platter with brisket, pork, sausage, salad, pickled onions, pickles and corn bread. Since it was our first time there we ordered three sides, the mac & cheese, street corn succotash & papas bravas. We couldn't stop how delicious it all was while we were eating. I also got a side of guac, which was delish and margaritas, which were tasty. We didn't have reservations so we were sat at a high top on the right side of the restaurant. The bathroom is on the left side of the restaurant, I'm glad I had to go because that area looks super cute! I'd like to eat in there next time. There's a bar in that area. I would 1000% recommend this place.

These are the best tacos. We took them to go so didn't get a chance to experience the ambiance or service really. It did take a long time for our tacos - once ordered it took about 40 minutes. We sat at the gin distillery across the street (I highly recommend their gin - Hardshore Gin https://www.hardshoredistilling.com/) BUT even though we had to wait a long time the tacos were the best. I would get every single kind to try - amazing flavor and quality. I ate mine so quick I forgot to take a pic. oops Went back next day and took a pic. Soooo good. Go!!

A fun birthday gathering at Terlingua. Everyone was thrilled with their dinners. The Saddle Up BBQ Board was a huge hit and for us non-meat eaters, the succotash was delicious, as always. The servers were wonderful and made up for not being outside. My only complaint is the noise in the "Market". Would have preferred the dining room.

Delicious smoked wings, falling-off-the bone ribs and pork belly burnt ends are among my favorites. The pulled pork sandwich has a yummy tang with the slight kick. One kiosk to order food, but it goes quickly and they text you when your order is ready. Lots of open seating available and in the cooler months, you can sit outside and enjoy the firepits. I do wish I would have returned sooner and/or may need to come back one more time before they close. Street parking nearby was easy enough to find. Walking in mid day on Saturday it wasn't too busy so after a short wait we were sat down. Which then lead to the biggest negative of our experience which was waiting for being greeted and also orders being taken. Granted our server did apologize and thank us for our patience. We started off with a cocktail I had the California Sour (had a good bourbon kick) and my wife had the Pineapple Rum Punch and enjoyed it. I enjoyed their rotating speciality pizza that was a Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was delicious top notch pizza. My wife got the Fried Chicken Vodka Parm Sandwich and the chicken was cooked to perfection! We also tried their appetizer of Scrappy Fries and it was a perfect app for our table to share and the meat scraps stood and had so much flavor to it. Every thing we had today was phenomenal and wish we had come here sooner!

Confession time: the idea of paying to cook my own dinner has never exactly screamed "great night…read moreout." Then I went to N to Tail, and now I'm considering a career in table-side grilling. The meal started with spicy cucumbers, fried eggplant, and Korean fried chicken. The cucumbers were refreshing, sweet, spicy, and dangerously addictive. The eggplant was crispy, sticky, and packed with flavor. And the fried chicken? My partner could have just eaten that alone and been happy! The four of us went all in on the largest combo platter. Short rib, ribeye, pork belly, shrimp, chicken, veggies--the grill was working overtime. The short rib ipractically melted, the ribeye was buttery perfection, and the pork belly reminded us why pork belly has such a devoted fan club. There was a brief period where my partner and I had no idea what we were doing at the grill, luckily we were with seasoned veterans of it! By the end of the meal my confidence was soaring that I could do this again! The banchan, which the server hinted at has a few sides that change time to time, kept every bite interesting The service was fantastic and so informative, and the entire experience was far more fun than I expected. N to Tail is a hidden gem. Come hungry, bring friends, and don't be surprised if you leave wondering why you haven't stopped by sooner.

We were really excited to try this spot out and chow down on a bunch of meat. We came in at 5pm and waited to be seated. The host said table for 4? I said yes. He said okay and was about to guide us but then I said oh and 2 babies. His reaction, ohhhh I don't we can accommodate your party here, sorry. I was caught off guard since I've never been to a restaurant that turned people away. I'm assuming kids/babies aren't welcomed here? There were plenty of large tables available in the front where the host stand was. I could count 4 tables on my way in, 1 or 2 of them larger tables. We were open to the grill tops or regular tables but he didn't ask us. I guess if you have kids, save the hassle and dine elsewhere. We ended up at Highrollers for the evening.

The inside of the restaurant is very nice, easy to find, and they have plenty of parking, which is always a huge plus. The food was definitely the star of the show. We started with the fried mushrooms with ranch, and they were absolutely fantastic--highly recommend sharing a basket of these! For the main courses: Pulled Pork Dinners: My husband and daughter both ordered this and said it was absolutely fantastic. Wing Dinner: My son-in-law loved his wings. Quesadilla: I had the quesadilla, which was decent flavor-wise, but a bit messy to eat because most of the filling fell right out as soon as I picked it up. The highlight of the entire meal was the cornbread muffin served with honey butter. It was honestly the best cornbread I have ever tasted! The portions here are massive, making it very easy for our granddaughter to pick a little bit off everyone's plates, and we still all came home with boxes of leftovers. I love the names of the kid's meals, so creative!! The only minor downsides were that the service was just "okay" (nothing bad, just didn't really stand out), and they had live country music playing. While the music itself wasn't bad, I'm personally not a fan of the genre and found it a bit too loud for conversation. The incredible food and great atmosphere mean we will definitely be back.
