Pacifica Pizza is pretty good, nothing super special. My partner tried this place while he was in town visiting and loved it. The pizza was good, nice large slices. The cheesy bread (which is one of their "specialities") was basically a smaller piece of pizza with no tomato sauce and garlic. I gave them an extra star because the service was friendly and they let us take our dog sally inside a few times. They even gave her a bottle of water and didnt charge us. read more

Well..... It was pizza, kind of. The toppings seemed to be fresh and that's were the food complements stop. We got the cheese bread witch was not really cheesy or bread. The dough was not even close to being done. Also there was about 1/3 of the cheesy bread that had little to no cheese on it. On to the pizza... Same as the cheese bread not cooked all the way, you couldn't even pick the piazza it just went limp. As for the staff and the delivery service, it was excellent but honestly who cares when the food is not good. Shouldn't have been lazy and just went and picked up pizza at the front room for less money and way better food. read more

Love, love, love this place. Best Pizza in Martinez. Service was fast, friendly, and I like the outdoor seating that they just added. I like the smell of the place every time that I walk in there, so refreshing with the smell of baked bread w/ mozzarella. Yum!! Tonight I had one of the best pizzas i've had from Pacifica Pizza in a looooong time! It was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly cooked and had an excellent amount of toppings. I stopped going there for a while after i receiving a soggy pizza and pizzas with barely any toppings. Tonight the crust had just the right amount of crisp. The customer service was WONDERFUL too! My 5yr old daughter and I came strolling on a hot Martinez afternoon. She had wanted pizza and we had never been there before, but decided to give it a try. I asked if they had pizzas by the slice but they didn't, so we ordered a small cheese pizza. We took a seat and waited. During that time, the lone worker who was there received an unsatisfactory call but she handled it like a champ. Next up was a disgruntled "regular" who gave her a hard time about sodas. Never once did she flash attitude. She was gracious and continued on with the tasks at hand. Two burnt cheese pizzas later, her co-worker and delivery guy came in and helped her out. They were both so apologetic towards us with the burnt pizzas and gave my daughter some cold water, made her a cheese pizza the next size up, and sent us on our way.....with AN AMAZING PIZZA. Having been in food service at a her age, I totally get it. Stuff happens. You can't please everyone but she did her best to make things right. I also saw it as a lesson for my little one. Yes, I could have been angry, asked for my money back, and stormed out and gave them a super bad Yelp review. But you know, what would I have shown my daughter? Besides, they owned up to their mistakes and did what they could to make things right. (Sorry if I butcher your name) Maisy--you are awesome. We have our good days and our bad days, but we move on and learn. This was our go to pizza delivery for almost a year! We just moved to walnut creek, and i REALLY hope they deliver out here. They were consistently the best pizza (drunk or sober) with fresh ingredients. Average delivery on a weekday or weekend was about an hour to 90 minutes, but it was worth it! read more

This place is all around a great pizza place! Walked in here today for the first time while on my lunch break and I found them to be very nice with great customer service. The man that works there with the long hair is awesome! He made the pizza fresh and it comes out very fast! I give them zero stars! I bought a pizza there a couple of days ago, and my daughter bit into a piece of wood about the size of half a toothpick. I thought this was not right so I brought the slice and the wood back to them (only a couple blocks away). The manager or owner didn't want to take an responsibility and said "we don't have any wood in our store here" . Basically was saying that I was lying, went on to ask why I didn't bring the rest of the pizza back, etc. He was very accusatory about the whole thing. I will never buy anything from them again. Had this pizza for the first time yesterday. We ordered an Xtra Large half Hawaiian (Kona I think it's called) and then half of whatever they call their all meat pizza. It wasn't bad. It is definitely not Pizza Hut/Dominoes quality, that's for sure (meaning it's better, for those of you who like that nasty fake pizza. Dominoes sucks!!). However, when eating leftovers of it today, the all meat tasted funny like there was old salami or old meat on it. A truly good pizza is one you can eat the next day (and is probably even better the next day, says my guy!) and it just wasn't that good today like it was last night. However, they do have some grubbin fresh pizza, and they sure don't skimp on the cheese or toppings. You know it's good when the toppings can also be found on the bottom of the box! And I don't think I have ever had a pizza quite that cheesy, unless I asked for extra cheese. Cheese is good. It wasn't my fave, I'll be honest. It can't hold a candle to Round Table, but it's definitely not on the bottom of the chain. read more

I must say.. I called in for delivery, Extremely friendly and polite. I believe Dawn answered. I ordered a medium chicken with extra pesto and substituted the tomatoes and artichokes for bell pepper and onion don't know why every place puts on the artichokes on a chicken and pesto but apparently they are more expensive and they come on the order which makes no sense lol no big deal I just don't care for them on pizza. Anyway the pizza was very good, super fresh and hot! Loved it! I hope it is not a hit an miss bc I will be ordering from here again! They're pesto is homemade and I love that! 26 and some change is a little pricey for a medium and a 6 pack of coke but that's my only complaint. I moved to Martinez about 18 months ago and haven't had much luck finding a pizza place in the east bay I liked much before trying Pacifica last week. Wow, it was so good! There's something rare and remarkable about their cheese blend, the sauce is a perfect sweetness and the crust was good too. We also tried the cheesy bread which was exactly as I'd hoped. If I wasn't worried aboutthe effects of a diet calling for thrice weekly trips to a pizza joint, I'd be in there all the time! read more

For awhile, there was a glimmer of hope for Pacifica, and then it was gone. Many Martinez locals have had a love hate relationship with Pacifica over the years because it's a cycle. They'll be owned for awhile by good folks who make yummy pizza, then they'll be bought by people who make nasty pizza until someone good buys them again. I hadn't been to this place in years because of previous bad owners who made terrible pizza. But then I heard someone good had bought it and was making the changes everyone said they needed. The quality of their pizza went from horrible to excellent. The sauces, cheese, toppings all great. Crust consistently yummy! While they never quite mastered the overall consistency element, the co-owner (tall, thinner white fellow), was always excellent at correcting problems. Most of the staff, and the delivery people were very friendly and made picking up or getting delivery a great experience. These were people that as a customer I WANTED to give an excellent tip to because the prices were so fair. Then about four months ago something changed again. The crust was totally different and overcooked. The price seemed higher. The people inside were pretty rude when we went to pick up food. We saw the other co-owner, not the nice one in there, and clearly the staff was cueing off of him for how to behave. Not a good sign. Then all the delivery people we were used to were gone. We still ordered a few more pizzas, and again, every time it was a huge let down. They've changed the crust to this new one for good, and it's not good. The dough they had awhile ago could stand to be over or undercooked a little and still be super good. This one is really a disappointment if it's even a little in either direction. Plus, the last time we ordered, the only way I can describe the pizza is to say it was a hot mess. Literally, a mess of hot cheese and sauce, with NO crust, like they just slapped everything on top, out to the very edge of the dough, it was greasy, and the owner was rude. Again. One of the delivery folks said the nice owner was gone. Won't be going here anymore. A shame, it was so good for awhile! read more

I'm no pizza conosieur, but I know bad pizza when I taste it. We ordered a family deal: pizza, breadsticks, wings. It was all salty as the Dead Sea. Salty dough, salty sauce, and perhaps some salt added as a seasoning for no good reason; not to mention slippery, cheap, greasy cheese. Even the bread sticks and hot wings were over salted. The only silver lining was the swift delivery service... But maybe they should have taken a little extra time to make a decent pie. I was hoping we would be able to find a go-to local pizza place, but I guess we better keep on looking, because this definitely isn't it. read more

Pizza is not the same as before! Same as their customer service & management! There was an older lady last night who was apparently the manager. She ended up towing a families car who was from out of town. This family ordered a pizza from them and ended up eating at Starbucks because there was no place to eat in Pacifica. Their child had a cold so they needed someplace warm to eat & rest! As I was walking by I seen the father & daughter come in & ask for the towing information! The manager hid behind the oven and was yelling I called the cops they can help you! The others working would not assist! I walked around the corner to see the kids bundled up. They had no heart for towing this families car nor concern! They had no idea they couldn't park there being new to the town & new customers the parent explained! At the end Another customer ended up taking this family to recover their car. I thought it was very rude of management and disappointing to have no empathy & to show this kind of leadership to the kids working there. Bad customer service! Make sure you find a good parking space because the walk is not worth the pizza! This is why I go to Marty O's the pizza, management & staff are awesome!
