I have been going to Pacific Water Solutions since they opened with the original owner Mike. Great product, friendly staff, and helpful. Nothing has changed in the past 15+ years. I use to have my water delivered by a major water delivery company. They were always expensive, and many times had orders wrong which came with incorrect invoices. If I could rate it a zero, I would. My advice-STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! When I purchased my water softener system and reverse osmosis systems from Mike, (the original owner), while spending thousands of dollars everything went great. Since that time however and when Todd took over the business, every experience has been terrible! It is almost impossible to get him to answer calls, the prices for filters etc. have gone through the roof, and most recently, the water softener stopped working. The company was incapable of sending a repair tech, rather he sent me and charged me for parts at again, outrageous prices, and none of those parts fixed the system. I ultimately had to purchase a new system from a different reputable company. Sad given that the old system was only 3-years old. Lack of service support and pricing aside, anyone who has a message on their telephone that says "don't leave a message because I won't return the call", says everything you need to know about their level of customer service! read more

I bought water from Mike at the old Mission Viejo store for years and after it's closing I started driving to the home store in San Clemente for water. Im convinced the water there was instrumental in helping my son through Cancer. I continued there for many years always assisted by Sam the water man. The most amazing and friendly service employee I've ever dealt with. In 2021 I retired and moved to Wa State. As usual I stopped in to see Sam last week while in town and was devastated with the news of his passing. What a guy he was. Always so positive, energetic, and helpful. Todd and his team continue to do fantastic work. This is my second house using Pacific Water Solutions and it only got better. James managed the install and was clean, efficient and fast. He knows what he's doing. After the sale, service is all they claim. Made a few tweaks to the sytem and all is wonderful. I was super apprehensive about making my final decision to have RO installed. It's an expensive system and there are a lot of service installers/equipment manufacturers out there... lots of promises being made. So... I did a ton of research. Got a few quotes... but kept coming back to PWS. Todd was super patient with all my questions and requests for information. Once I made the decision to move forward (months later), installation happened super quick, was super easy and the tech that came out was friendly and clean! Ok so you can't really bag on the cost of the water as the cost is just passed on being that they have to survive and profit as well. Plus they have to pay "Sam the Man" the money he deserves. And by deserving, yes, this guy deserves what he gets paid and then some because not only does he know most customers by name, he's friendly, diligent and helps everyone with filling and transporting the water to the vehicle. You can get the standard or alkaline water and supplies for your hydration needs... the only game in town and even a coin op that you can fill after hours. Good tasting water and studies show that mice that drink alkaline live longer so I highly recommend it to all the San Clemente mice and thirsty people. read more

If you are buying an E Treat system from this dealer or any other, please be aware if you have hard water it will not solve the spotting that a soft water system provides. I was mislead by Mike at this company when I came in to find an alternative system for my soft water system that would be more ecological. Also if you buy an ETreat system, you will still have to buy a reverse osmosis system to get good quality drinking water. Basically what the E Treat does is remove all the chlorine from the water and some metals. Be aware that neither the dealer nor the manufacturer will give you any recourse if you are dissatisfied with this system. After $2000+ I still need to get a soft water system, learn from my mistake. Customer service here, none after you have spent your money. read more

I don't often leave reviews....however PWS is the ONLY place I go to buy my water. I live in Mission Viejo and since the closing of the R.S.M location, I will still drive down to S.C. to get water and lunch. The owner and his son are super nice, the staff is always polite; the way customer service should be...and I am usually only paying a few bucks for some gallons of water. Always helpful and happy to assist right when you walk in the door. Highly recommend PWS and will continue to support their business as long as I am in southern California. We have a water softener and R/O system from Pacific Water Solutions and we love it! We no longer buy bottled water since the R/O system provides much better tasting water. The water softener has provided no more water spots on glasses left that haven't been dried immediately and glass shower doors no longer have hard water deposits. I was told it needed to be serviced every 5 years for $680 when I bought it. 4 years later and dealing with several more water leaks I called to ask for some support and service and was told it is too much work for his staff and I needed to buy an entirely new system. This is an unacceptable way to treat customers and I would not recommend this company. read more

I just had a GREAT experience at this water store, which is just down the street from me and I never realized all that they do. Not only can people fill up their water jugs and gallon bottles, or maybe even their fish tanks, they offer complete water systems for all types of homes and businesses. For me and my daughter we just needed something small, so we opted for a standard Reverse Osmosis thing that goes under our sink. I felt like they really listened to what I needed and offered so much information - more than I could ever even imagined goes into a water decision like this. 1st, I recommend everyone examine the schematic of H20 filtration (#11th photo on PWS's web site. It provides an excellent visual explanation of how most small household, kitchen or bath filtration systems are assembled. It will help you articulate your requirements when comparing H20 systems. Please know, I'm always skeptical about glowing reviews posted online. I'm not a PWS customer yet, but have been researching household filtration systems since 2009. We moved to SoOC (Laguna Woods), have a slab foundation, 1965 lead plumbing that's deteriorating. I discovered how bad the water is in the greater Aliso Viejo area while shopping for stainless steel finished appliances, bathroom & kitchen fixtures. At the same time, my spouse has been diagnosed with a compromised immune system (Lyme Disease). He doesn't detox heavy metals, chlorine & other water borne pollutants ingested through the skin & orally. We've a few +$10,000 quotes (from the well-advertised national water companies, offering "buy-it-now promotions", requiring long-term maintenance contracts, etc.). Let's pray PWS, Mike & Sam are able to offer us more economical solutions, as we're on a budget....Aren't we all?
