Good follow through and very polite technicians. Smooth and simple service and they arrived right on schedule!

Impressed! Why didn't we do this sooner!!? Use these guys if you want to upgrade the poor water in your home. I can already tell a difference in my skin and hair. I'm also sure our house piping and hardware will be better for having installed the water system. I love knowing we can drink from the faucet and not worry. This company is solid and Jonathan represented them well! Not pushy and was super easy going. I can tell this company doesn't need to sell hard as they stand behind their system and customer service. The install was super easy and we have been happy ever since. Thank you guys so much! Please support this small business as they are solid and their product and team impressive. read more

We are extremely pleased with Rick and more importantly, the water filtration that we bought. He was quick, responsive and attentive when it mattered and really went out of his way to make us feel heard. After 6 months of having our filtration system, he came over to test our water and we were impressed with the results. Pictures are attached. He's given us peace of mind and greater confidence in our water system. We appreciate and are happy to be working with him. read more

Rick designed and installed an amazing water treatment system for our Aliso Viejo home in 2002. It consists of whole house filtration, water softening and water purification for drinking. Our system continues to serve us well every day and we could not be happier. While many homes in south Orange County have experienced pin hole leaks and have had their homes re-piped as a result, in our 23 years here, we have not experienced any pinhole leaks or other issues with our water and plumbing. We attribute this great result to the water treatment system installed by Rick and his team. I highly recommend Pure Elements Water for any water treatment needs you may have. read more

Rick and his team are the best. We had a whole house purification system installed as well as RO for drinking water. I had done a lot of research prior to calling Rick, and his company was the only one that offered everything I was looking for. He has been so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful - from recommending our specific system to helping with maintenance questions. Everyone on his team who he has sent out to set up and maintain the system has been wonderful. I am so happy with our system... it is amazing to not be drinking bottled water anymore and to know that I am keeping my family safe from harmful contaminants (not only in the water we drink and cook with, but also for baths and showers). I recommend Rick and Pure Elements to everyone that I can! read more

Hi Rick, After 9 years of happy service here in Lake Las Vegas, we need to do a cleaning of the cores. Can you or one of your people send us the info on how to get the cores out for cleaning. We are happy campers with your system, now almost 9 years old, and have told many of our neighbors about how it works and how long it has served us. Do any of your sales and installation people come out here? I know this is far from Orange County, but the Las Vegas area is growing like crazy. Best Regards, Joe McKee Henderson/Lake Las Vegas. read more

Extremely knowledgeable and informative, I would recommend them for anything water related!

I highly recommend Pure Elements Water systems. We have a whole house water filter and it works great. No problems at all. And best of all, the company is super responsive and stands behind their product. Also, they are experts in house water conditioning and have helped me problem solve a water issue I was having that had nothing to do with their system. I am grateful to be in partnership with Rick and his team. Highly recommend. read more

Our entire area is fraught with pinhole leaks and we knew we wanted a water conditioning or purification system; after researching over 7 water systems, we decided to go with Pure Elements; because we care deeply about the environment we did not want a salt-based purifier. The system is supposed not only to stop future pinhole leaks, but also to eliminate waterborne chemicals: chlorine or chloramines from the water system environment, and to protect against hard-water build up. We are now at the one year mark of having enjoyed the Pure Elements system for our home, so this may be the best time for this review. We love how care- and maintenance-free it is; almost hard to believe there's really nothing we need to do for regular maintenance. Rick is a true professional and a "Walking Encyclopedia" of "all things water"; he didn't hesitate coming to our home and giving a mini-seminar on the water purification and conditioning options, doing a water test, and answering various questions about our system, which was highly informative. Based on several water tests, our water is now free of chloramine and related noxious compounds that are mainly responsible for pinhole leaks. The only issue we continued to have was with hard water; Rick came to our home to understand the issue and address it. He made adjustments to the frequency with which our system flushes, and we hope to have the hard water issue addressed soon. Thank you Rick! read more

As a mother and naturopathic doctor, clean water is ESSENTIAL! I talk to all of my patients about water filtration and prioritize it for my family. After dozens of hours of research, I am so glad I found Pure Elements. They were able to easily answer all of the nitty-gritty medical questions so I have confidence in their systems, their customer support staff is superb, and the icing on the cake was that I live in Southern CA so I had a full-service installation, which saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. I highly recommend them and will continue singing their praises. read more

Rick & the team at Pure Elemnts has done an outstanding job for us for more than 20 years! We used them when we built our house and it was one of our best decisions. We used them when we purchased a second home in the area and again we are so pleased with their product and service. Look no further read more

Got quotes from several local home water filtration providers. They were the best balance of price, quality, service, etc. Others are fine but just pitch their resold product and don't really listen or customize to what you want. Ended up getting whole house filtration and a RO installed. Very happy and would recommenend to others. read more

We were looking at a whole home water treatment/filtration system and were referred to Pure Elements by a friend who had used them. The whole experience has been more than amazing. From Fiona our sales rep right through to Jake the installer of the system a couple of weeks ago. It took a couple of days to notice the difference in water quality inside the house, but I'm amazed at the change. No cloudiness and it tastes so much better. I want to call our Jake for the incredible attention to detail with the installation. He routed our house water under some concrete pads and the waste water also under some concrete pads into our front garden. He scraped away the stone covering of our yard before trenching and once trenching and laying of new pipework was complete, he replaced the top cover of stone. Honestly by the end of the day you could not tell we had any work done there what so ever. Very much appreciated. Would highly recommend this system and the team involved. Thank you! read more

My husband and I have been happy customers for many years. I discovered Pure Elements Water after having two pinhole leaks within 3 months in the same line -- 7 slab leaks total, in 42 years. We have not had a pinhole leak since we got the system! Only a leak from a poorly installed angle stop under a bathroom cabinet, but zero pinholes. In our experience, his system works. Also, his is the only one I've seen that is backed up by independent lab reports. The water tastes delicious, smooth and soft in your mouth, like spring water. Dark clothes fade less, too. Still have hard water deposits, but not quite as bad. Our water here is very hard without the rainfall, so you can only expect so much unless you get the second system which removes fluoride. As a holistic health aware person, I know that you are what you consume and what you absorb through your skin and lungs, as well. So, we took the plunge and have never been disappointed. We truly love the water we get, thanks to Rick and his fantastically healthful system. read more

I have had Pure Elements Water for 18mos and it has made such a difference in so many ways. I no longer have to carry heavy water bottles from the store so we all (including my dogs) can enjoy fresh filtered water. My faucets and shower doors are no longer full of water marks which makes my life much easier and my grass and plants are thriving and loving the water. Customer service is outstanding. I recently had a problem with the reverse osmosis set up. It stopped pulling water into the tank. After a phone call to the office I received a call back with instructions, while I was on the phone with Rick, on how to fix the problem. It was a very easy fix. Just had to put in a new battery and push the reset button and I was back in business. Just like yelp states, this company is as good as it gets! plus MORE!!! I contacted Pure Elements Water over a month ago to get a reverse osmosis installed in our second office as we had one installed in our current office. Rick was amazing at communication and surveying the area where we wanted the unit installed. Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control, we did not move forward with getting that system installed. Rick was kind and understanding about our decision and still made me feel like a valued customer. The decision was made to move our system from our old office to our new one. I took it upon myself to uninstall the system but when it came to re-installing it, I ran into some issue. I contact Pure Elements to see if they could assist with helping me get the system installed. The team was friendly, eager to help and very responsive. They were able to work out a scheduled time to get Nick out that same day to install the system. In less than an hour we had our filtration system working again. STELLAR SERVICE by far! Thank you Rick, Dawn and Nick for helping us out! I look forward to working with you all again when it's time for the filters to be replaced. Anyone looking for a company, you have found them here. Rick has contacted me first by phone and then by text. He wants me to remove or change my rating. I wanted to change it but did not see how on Yelp!. First, let me say I am not sure by San Francisco is associated with my name. I am in Rancho Mirage, CA. My overall recommendation is to get a whole house filter system that is designed for the desert. The water straight out of the tap is a bit cloudy, crystal pure. After a very long phone conversation in response to my initial review, it seems to solve the calcification issue, I need a water softener at the tune of several thousand more dollars. If I were to go that route, I would be back to using bottled water. Between the build up on our water boiler, the stainless pet water bowl, the bird bath, and various faucets, not sure that all the benefits for the money are evident. However, Rick is passionate about the quality of his water relative to mineral content and is obviously very concerned about the company's reputation. Sorry rick, I still can't give it a "5" based on cost-benefit. read more

I purchased three water filters (Sep. 2018) for myself, my dad's home and my sister's to prevent any further leaks in the copper pipes. I first did the homework to find the cause (FDA mandate to add ammonia to chlorinated water) then contacted several companies. I finally decided on Pure Elements Water for the fix. Water samples were independently tested before and after the tank installations. Chloramines (ammonia + chlorine), which attack copper, were eliminated by apox. 95% +. As of Jul. 2022, samples of the filtered water remain at the same level, with no further leaks. - Ron J. read more

RICK, NICK, & the PURE ELEMENTS WATER company are a pleasure to work with. My home had a pinhole leak about 1.5 years ago. We had the leak fixed, but have since been concerned about the high possibility of another pinhole leak occurring, especially since this is any issue for many of the homes in our area. For about 1.5 years now, my husband and I have been researching options, including PEX or the EPOXY lining. We even had several companies quote us for both PEX and EPOXY. We know of several individuals that have repiped their home with PEX, however felt this option was too aggressive, since this would create multiple holes throughout our entire home. Furthermore, after researching the pro/cons of PEX and although certain companies did provide a good warranty, we felt that at this time PEX was definitely the most aggressive option, especially since we had a functioning copper pipe system at this time. Another option we debated was EPOXY lining of the existing copper pipes. This was a more conservative option to PEX. However most of the companies that had provide us with quotes did not provide a warranty that stood behind their work -- meaning if the epoxy failed and there was a leak -- the best warranty we found was a company that would fix the leak at no charge, but collateral damage was not covered. Which to us meant that they were not confident that there would not be another pinhole leak after the EPOXY lining. It seemed that both PEX and EPOXY were addressing the damage caused by chemicals in the water, mainly chloramine. BUT neither addressed the main cause: the water chemistry -- the chemicals in the water itself that are causing the damage. In search for a more conservative option to PEX, we actually found PURE ELEMENTS WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM. The website, the information I found online, and Rick the owner, helped me understand that their water filtration system actually addresses the main cause -- the chemicals (mainly chloramine) that are causing the damage to the copper pipes, leading to the pinhole leaks. I contacted Rick on the YELP app, and he responded right away, and I was able to speak with him on the phone that day for more than 1 hour -- and this was on a weekend day (not a weekday!) Rick was extremely knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and attentive It was obvious that he had a lot of passion and experience about water. After the conversation, Rick agreed to meet in person with my husband and I, and was even very accommodating with the meeting time. When he arrived to our house, he was on time and spent over 1.5 hours educating us. He helped us realize that his filtration system is NOT like all other filtration systems out there, because his filtration system is actually customized to address the type of water and chemicals coming into your home in your community. After reviewing the pro/cons of all our options, my husband and I decided to move forward with the PURE ELEMENTS WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM. On the day of installation, Nick from the company came to build us a customized set up for our home and for our custom built Pure Elements Water Filtration Tank. Nick was friendly, efficient, and his work was very clean. Rick (the owner), Nick, and the entire Pure Elements Team have been nothing but helpful and accommodating. We look forward to now having drinking water from each faucet, as well as removal of the chemicals from the water, that have been the source and cause of the pinhole leaks. When there is a problem, it only makes sense to address the cause first. We feel that installing the Pure Elements Water Filtration system is the most conservative and logical way to approach this widespread pinhole leak issue. Thank you Pure Elements Team for your help and great customer service. read more

I love the taste and feel of my water! I just had the system installed, and saved the "before" water to taste test. There is definitely a huge change in flavor. Reminds me of Penta water - no chlorine scent. It took about a day for the water to settle since I had to have pipes soldered, but I'm really happy with the result. My installer was also very professional - punctual, polite, and tidy. Rick answered all of my questions (which were numerous) and patiently waited for me to be ready to purchase it. I looked at other water systems and appreciate how PureElements had the most scientific data and wasn't really pushy. I hate sales pitches, and the other companies that came out kept trying to sell fear and not facts about water quality. I also like how PureElements does the water systems for some really big builders - it's not a fly-by-night company. To last as long as they have in this industry, you have to be good. Plus, I know they will be around for filter changes, as needed. (Like many years from now.) I had an additional filter (DI) installed at the tap and think it's worth any additional cost. read more

This company is great to work with. We've had our system installed for a week and half now and the difference in our water is amazing! Less spots on our shower and sinks, clear ice cubes, the taste is perfectly clean and pure. It feels so different showering -- the steam is actually different, so clean. Our whole house Pure Elements Water filtration system was installed May 2021. Within 6 months we began having a significant amount of calcification build on our auto water pot and the pets' water bowl. We thought this was an adjustment perior. However; it has not slowed. Also, we did not get detailed user documentation so we do not know when to have the filter changed. I seemed to remember during the sales pitch it was annual. My husband remembers them telling us it was being monitored and they would let us know when it needed to be replaced. Since I had the question on the filter and the observation on the calcification, I sent 2 emails to our local contact. I have received zero response in two month. So, while the filter system sounds good and the water has a better flavor (no flavor), it is cloudy out of the faucet, causing build up on metal, and no answers on the filter. Had hoped for better or at least some local customer support. read more

We have been enjoying spring-like water from Pure Elements since January 2016 after experiencing two slab leaks within three months in our Laguna Niguel home. We've had six slab leaks in the 38 years that we've owned the house, and slab leaks have been one of my biggest fears. As a holistic health practitioner, it is of utmost importance to me for our household to drink and bathe in water that is as pure as it can possibly be. The only slight disappointment in our water is that there's been virtually no improvement in the minerals sticking to our fixtures; perhaps over time that will improve. We have the conditioner only, no extra tank for removing fluoride, which I'm sure would greatly reduce or eliminate the minerals and the sticking. For fluoride removal in drinking water, we use a Zero Water large pitcher in our fridge. The difference between Pure Elements and other companies - and the reason we chose them over others - is that the purity of Pure Elements Water has actually been proven to be there on tap through independent laboratory testing in actual homes. You can go in Rick's website, Pureelementswater.com under "Pure Independent Lab Testing" and read the reports for yourself. I haven't seen that kind of proof on any other site for whole-house water purifiers/conditioners, have you? Regarding pinhole leaks? It's been over two years and so far, sooo good -- and delicious too! I have confidence in the purity of the water I'm putting into and onto my body, and I can't imagine living without it. If it weren't for the minerals sticking to our faucets, I'd definitely give it 5 stars. Wish I could do 4 1/2 stars, but Yelp has no setting for that. After several years of replacing six separate filters and a UV light in a monstrosity of a water filtration system, to the tune of $400 per year, and spending 4 hours each time trying to seat O-rings properly into the filter housings without leaking at full pressure, I was done. I decided to look for a more user-friendly system that would fit my needs. My priorities were health (removing all contaminants) and low maintenance (no annual drama of replacing filters). With my local water quality report in hand that listed the contaminants in our tap water, I contacted several companies to gather comparative data. Frustration peaked after speaking to product sales people who really could not address my water report. Then I reached Rick, and that was the end of the data gathering. His knowledge from being in the industry for decades and his ability to clarify the difference between Pure Elements and other products made it clear to me that he was the guy I could trust. He took the time to show me the diagram of the media in the system and what it removes. And yes, everything I was concerned with was checked off. Why? - because he knew the water report data. As far as annual maintenance, there is none. The automatic backwash handles it all! The bottom line - better health and zero toxicity! I had visited my nutritionist while using the previous water filtration system. He said that on a scale from 0 to 12, with 0 reflecting no detectable toxicity and 12 reflecting critical levels, I always registered around 9, even with the old seven-stage filtration system. Alarming! The visit to my nutritionist after having the Pure Elements system for several months resulted in a zero-toxicity read! My nutritionist asked what had changed in my life. I told him it was the new whole house water filtration system - Pure Elements! I've shared this great news with nearly a dozen of my friends across the country over the past few years. Today, all of them have a Pure Elements water filtration system in their homes. read more

This review is long overdue. Rick is fantastic. He sold me a water purifying system six months ago. By nature, I am not easily sold or impressed. Unlike most sales people (and I met three others), Rick approached the sale from a scientific perspective. He is not a scientist, but he has the data about water, water conditioners, water softeners, copper pipes and PEX tubing. I made an educated choice based on Rick's data (and not his spin) and the performance of his Pure Elements Water Conditioner. Nick installed my water conditioner. He too is fantastic. Most trades are not very conscientious. Nick's work and work space were clean. It appeared he cared about my home as if it was his. Thank you Rick and Nick... read more
