Water quality from the city and water quality from Life source Filtration system shows no difference between the two

Feels Like We Got Scammed -- LifeSource Water System Doesn't Work! I rarely leave reviews, but this one is well deserved. We invested in a LifeSource water system expecting cleaner, softer water -- and honestly, it's been a total disappointment. On Sunday, October 26, we noticed thick white calcification building up on our glass vases and fixtures. It looked like we never had a filtration system at all. So we ran a water test comparing regular tap water with the LifeSource "filtered" water... and guess what? No difference whatsoever. Both samples showed the same level of contamination. It's like the system does absolutely nothing. We called customer service right away, stressing that this was urgent. They promised a call back Monday -- no one called. We followed up Tuesday, got the same promise -- again, nothing. Later that day, they finally told us that no technician could come out until November 5. Over a week later! For something that could impact our health, that's just unacceptable. Between the useless filtration and the nonexistent customer service, this company has been a nightmare to deal with. For the price they charge, you'd expect quality and accountability -- but instead, we're stuck with hard, unfiltered water and zero support.

This shows that the score for Life Source filtered water is lower than both CA state and national averages.

The first thing a water filter company should do when you have the first service appointment at your house is to take a sample of your water and they need to test to find out what's in your water before trying to sell you any of their products, because they'll need to know if their product can actually remove the bad things that are in your water which include but are not limited to: heavy metals, VOCs, plastics, PFAs and microplastics, disinfection products, drugs and Pharmaceuticals, Oil, Gas and BTEX, Fertilizers, Radiation, Bacteria, Pesticides, Dioxane, Chemicals, Acids and Nitrates. Then once you know what's in your water, you'll know what you need removed from your water in order to make it safe for you to drink. I did not know the above information when I purchased the Life Source System and it was subsequently installed May 2023 by Life Source of San Diego. Anyways, I was really excited because I had expressed to my sales rep that the main goal was that I could drink out of the faucet and stop using bottled water. Then in August, I sent in my water that was being filtered by the LifeSource system into Tap Score where they run tests and show you what's in your water and if it's actually safe to drink. The results showed that there were still heavy metals in my water including Arsenic and Lead, and indicated that prolonged drinking of this water being filtered by Life Source could leave to potential harmful side effects including cancers. I attached 2 screenshots so you can see the results. I did speak to LifeSource about this and basically they said that they never said their system removed hard metals. Its almost like you have to become a water expert yourself and know what questions to ask before you buy these expensive filtration systems, because of course they won't tell you all the things that need to be removed from the water to make it 100% safe to drink directly from the faucet. If you do have hard metals in your water, the only thing that can remove them is Reverse Osmosis, so on top of the LifeSource system, we also had to purchase an RO system at the faucet as well. Their filtration system does still remove things like VOCs, Plastics, and a bunch of other stuff from the water; however,1) they should have first tested my water and told me what was in it, to tell me what they would need to remove from it to make it safe for me to drink and they didn't do that. 2) The system they recommended for me does not remove heavy metals like arsenic or lead, which my water has in it, and the only thing that does remove those materials are reverse osmosis. 3) I spoke to their sale mgr about my concerns and they basically said, we never told you it removed heavy metals -- so basically they are relying on me to become my own water expert to know what specific questions I am supposed to ask which is absurd I feel taken advantage of because I expressly stated my goal was to drink water directly from the faucet so we could stop using plastic bottles, and this company sold me their product that they knew could not remove heavy metals and therefore, did not meet my goal, but they sold me the product anyways to make the sale.

Long extension from the main to the installation area.

We've recently purchased a brand new home. As the last house was without a whole-house filter and conditioning/softener system, I was determine nNOT to repeat the same mistake. An extensive research was made during the construction phase, and many systems to choose from, I have met with DJ from LifeSource and gone over all the details. Needless to say, although not the lowest found, the decision was made at a cost lower than most other systems. Within a day from signing, the office called and setup my installation appointment. Today, KYLLE & JOE came and installed the system. The service was quick, clean and simple, and the whole house is now enjoying clean and conditioned water.

We just had our water system installed today by Kylle and Joe. They were friendly and very professional! They did such clean work. Our water system looks great and we are so excited to use it! Thanks LifeSource!

Superb! From the quick response and evaluation by Skip Harry to the fast and professional setup by Jimmy and Kylle, I can not be happier! My house was built in the 50s, and they figured out my water system in no time at all. Quite a feat! They even installed a brand new shut-off valve so I wouldn't have to go to my main meter outside. Hats off to LifeSource!

[Parking]: There is an exclusive parking spot right in front of the shop, but parking should generally be available within the plaza. However, the parking lot has several blind spots so be cautious while navigating through this lot. [Price]: Regular drinking water is $0.35 per gallon without membership and $0.30 per gallon with membership. Kangen water or alkaline water is $1.50 per gallon without membership and $1.40 per gallon with membership. 11.5 pH / 2.5 pH water is $3.00 per gallon. Credit cards are accepted, but there is an approximate 3% surcharge which I only realized after checking my receipt. [Service]: The staff member is friendly, but this is mostly a self-service station. I had to clean my own water bottles and fill my own water. To fill Kangen water, follow these steps: (1) Turn on the faucet. (2) Select your desired setting by pressing the button on the touch screen. (3) Ensure the machine is not in cleaning mode. (4) Direct the hose into your water bottle. (5) Shut off the faucet once your bottle is full. There are two Kangen water machines, so you can turn on both faucets simultaneously to speed up the filling process. The lone staff member occasionally offers assistance on the filling process, but I always end up carrying my 5-gallon water bottle back to my car myself. [Conclusion]: While I have experienced better service at other water shops, this location is still a convenient stop for anyone who is looking for Kangen water or just regular drinking water. P.S. - There are two 24/7 water dispensers located at the storefront.

After comparing several options, I decided to go with Diamond Pure, and I'm really glad I did. The installation process was smooth, quick, and very professional. The technician showed up on time, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was installed correctly. He also walked me through how the system works and answered all my questions so I would know what to do if anything ever came up. What I really like is how simple and easy the system is to understand and maintain. Overall, the entire experience from getting information, to purchasing, to installation was excellent. I highly recommend Diamond Pure to anyone looking for a reliable water softener system and great customer service.

Then on the day of the installation, Pat came back to the job again to make sure everything went smoothly and was what we agreed on. The technicians Ryan and Brandon were outstanding! In all, having all 3 employees at my house I felt my job was very well taken care of and it was also finished in a timely manner while being done to the highest standards! Ryan has incredible attention to detail, and as a perfectionist myself, that is something that I really appreciate. All of Ryan's piping work is perfectly straight and as 'out of sight' as possible. I also appreciated that he made the smallest hole possible into my house to connect to my drain system - it's barely noticeable. All of the work is gorgeous and you can tell the precision and care that Ryan puts into everything he does! I wish all contractors operated at this meticulous, caring, high level, that Ryan does - he is outstanding! I also appreciate all of the time Ryan took to show me all of the work and explain about my system after he completed the job. Never once did I feel rushed and I was able to ask a lot of questions and he was very nice and helpful. Brandon was outstanding as well and did a great job installing my Reverse Osmosis system and new sink faucet in my kitchen. I also like how Radiant Water are technicians as well where they can do maintenance and also fix plumbing problems with my water system - unlike some companies who only instal new systems. I appreciate how they will send me postcards in the mail to check in with me to remind me that the filters in my RO need changed and they can come out to service the systems as well which makes things easy for me. I like how all of the parts are made in America and they have both a parts and labor warranty. Overall, I was very impressed with and happy with all 3 men from Radiant Water. They are all experts at what they do and at all times made me feel like a valued customer. They treated my home with care and made sure that they tailored the water system and installation experience to be exactly what I wanted and what was optimal for my home. I highly recommend Radiant Water! I think they are truly the best company out there for your water purifying and water softening needs!
