Unfortunately, we never received anything , not even a follow-up message or explanation. We specifically reached out to him because of his excellent reviews, so this experience was surprising and disappointing. Personally for me not following through on a clear commitment and not communicating at all reflects poor work ethic and reliability. Based on this experience, I would not recommend their services.

We had a vision, and Mike brought it to life!…read more We've tackled our fair share of remodel projects over the years, but nothing quite prepared us for the leap into a complete, ground-up ADU build. We knew this wasn't a project to hand off to just anyone, we needed a true expert, someone who could steer us through every twist and turn with confidence. That's exactly what we found in Mike. From our very first meeting, Mike had a calm, reassuring presence that told us we were in good hands. He listened closely to our vision, asked the right questions, and laid out a clear path forward that immediately put our minds at ease. And trust us, our minds needed easing, we came to him with a steady stream of nervous, sometimes repetitive questions, and he never once made us feel like a burden. He answered every single one with patience, warmth, and genuine reassurance. Communication was a true highlight of working with Mike. He kept us updated at every stage, so we always knew exactly where things stood. What could have been an incredibly stressful, all-consuming process instead felt manageable, even exciting. He also took the reins on coordinating with city inspectors throughout the entire build, handling all the back-and-forth so we didn't have to lift a finger. That alone lifted a massive weight off our shoulders. And the icing on the cake? He finished the entire project ahead of the estimated timeline, without ever cutting corners on quality or care. If you're on the fence about a big build like this, let us save you the trouble: call Mike. He turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one we're genuinely grateful for, and the final result speaks for itself. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

Our HOA Board used Yelp to identify general contractors to bid for the repair work. We had five contractors come out and submit proposals. When we had our initial meeting with JS Vision, the Board was impressed with our interaction with their representative Amir. It was clear he had a real understanding of the problem before we met, and provided a clear outline of the steps and process needed to fix our issue. He also provided the quote in a timely manner, whereas some of the other contractors took weeks to provide their proposal. Not only did they correct everything, they knew people that were experts in areas they would rather not handle. Absolutely no complaints with any of the subs they had come in to do work! They totally reconfigured our guest bath. The place is haunted! They have been out so many times to try and figure out why the bath drips water. Everytime I call they are here to fix it. They are super busy, but if it's a serious problem they drop everything and come running. Water problem is not due to their work, but what originated with the house. You'll likely hear that if you call. Jim's temperament runs hot & cold. Jim broke my toilet. Fortunately he admitted his mistake & didn't charge me to replace toilet. It took multiple trips to get the correct materials for the toilet replacement. This week we rejected Jim's subcontractors quote for HVAC job as we found someone else we preferred and we have a home warranty for service. Following the Eaton and Palisades fires, we decided to strengthen our home's defenses against wildfire by replacing all of our existing vents with ember-resistant Vulcan Vents. As we knew we were vulnerable to windblown embers entering our home through existing openings -- including foundation, crawlspace, gable, and eave vents -- upgrading them felt like an especially important part of our home-hardening efforts. I obtained quotes from three contractors and felt most comfortable with GHC - and most confident in their ability to deliver. They absolutely did. In addition to installing Vulcan Vents throughout our home, GHC replaced the 30-40 year old door between our laundry room and garage with a new steel door. The workmanship was exceptional from start to finish. Graham and his crew are skilled, meticulous, and clearly take great pride in their work. They were courteous, conscientious, and dependable: they arrived when promised, worked diligently throughout the day, treated our home with care, and left the work site clean and orderly every evening. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Graham kept us informed, patiently answered our questions, clearly explained the work, and was always approachable and responsive. He is honest, trustworthy, and true to his word - everything from the initial estimate through final completion was handled professionally and thoughtfully. Most importantly, Graham genuinely cared about the finished result and wanted to be certain that we were completely satisfied. His attention to detail was remarkable, and he promptly addressed even the smallest items. He and his team went above and beyond, and we had no issues whatsoever. It is rare to find a contractor who combines such high-quality craftsmanship with integrity, reliability, excellent communication, and genuine consideration for the homeowner.
