After posting my initial review, Gary has since reached out to me an apologized for how he handled the sensitive information snafu and assured me that he takes personal information seriously. We discovered that it was an honest mistake that he sent information unencrypted. In fact, his business is set up for secure communication and his communication to me happened to slip by based on a reasonable failure to understand the limitations of the security software he already had in place. He has used this incident as an opportunity to understand these limitations. I believe that he is now well equipped to always make use of his security software, and believe that this unfortunate incident will not repeat.

I had 4 returns that needed to be done and was merely hoping to get extensions filed so they could be completed at a later date. I came in with my returns from the previous year as well as my various 1099s, K-1s, etc. I met with Ryan who was cordial and professional. I expected him to laugh me out of his office when I placed the packet of forms on his desk and asked if he could do anything by April 15th. Well, not only did he not laugh, but he and his team got the job done including an unexpected 5th return for my teenage son who had a summer job which they threw in for free! I was able to file all my returns by April 15th and everything was done electronically so I merely had to click a few keys which was great because I was traveling. (And send some checks, of course!)
