We asked would they be able to take on our case before the tax deadline (a month or two before), they said they could and I pretty much provided all the documents needed in a few days. However a month or two later just before the deadline we were assigned to someone called Steven Daniel - he was without a doubt the absolute worst person we've ever dealt with in terms of client experience. He would ask us stupid questions like can we convert an image to a document for him to which I pointed out there are plenty of tools online for that. They filed an extension without telling us we would be liable for any interest. A month or so passes and they then start following up with questions saying they are nearly done. Another month passed and they upload the preliminary tax bill into their portal without telling us. The tax bill was a lot higher than expected, I clarified this with Chris, sent the money to the IRS and he said nothing more was needed. Another month passes and Steven emails us asking would we like to file the tax return. WTF Steven?!? The man is clearly an absolute imbecile and did not work out when I said we have paid the IRS (for which he was in the email) this means file the bloody return?!? I get a call from Chris apologising saying they will cover the interest. To this date I have never received this despite sending them the interest bill I paid off for several hundred dollars. For the luxury of all this madness, they charged me $1500. At that price I would be expecting a fairly high end service, this was beyond belief - I cannot fathom how they are happy to charge this for some of the worst professional service I have ever experienced. In short, steer clear unless you have more money than sense - if you hear the name Steven Daniel, run and do not look back.

She taught me the basics of debit/credit accounting on paper, and then showed me how it works in QuickBooks. She has tons of experience in this field, and is a pleasure to work with. A small nonprofit I work with switched to BofM after Bank of America upped its rates once too often. It was nice to be able to walk into this business and ask about their rates. They immediately offered to waive the monthly fee on our small business checking account since it was a nonprofit that generally had a lowish balance and not much activity. Great! Not so great: having to call every month for several months to have the fee removed each time. Not so great: no calls back when we left voice mails. Not so great: dinosaur website. Really not great: mobile app. Issues? If you call "customer support" during business hours, you're in luck. Weekends, there was no support when I phoned. It isn't one issue, it's a new issue every time. Website down. Password randomly expired (only it doesn't say that on mobile, it just won't let you proceed). No answer/call back from the guy I worked with at the bank. Can't recognize the number at the bottom of the check. Etc. etc. If I could muster the energy, I'd shop around. I am so tired and frustrated and I'm mad at myself for spending even more time and energy writing a review. Let me save you some time. You've been warned.
