I wanted to change my old outdated wooden screen door and called a few businesses that said they do…read morescreen doors. But did you know that it doesn't mean they all do security screen doors? Security screen type doors are a different animal. I knew that my doorway would require some wood framing because of it's unusual size so who better to do this type of job than a handyman. I Yelped through handyman and came across Handyman Services. I was delighted that I saw Terry K.'s used him and was very impressed with Ryan's work. So I made the call to Handyman Services (Ryan/Owner) and explained what I wanted, an estimate on installation of two doors. To my amazement, he said that he would be in my area in the afternoon. Sure enough he came by and took the measurements and within a couple of hours texted me the estimate. Now that's the kind of service that everyone expects, but rarely receive from any type business. I won't say how much the estimate was for, but I found it reasonable and less than I anticipated the job to be. I scheduled the next open date which was the following week. Ryan came by as scheduled and quickly framed and installed two security screen doors with some modifications. He's quick and efficient, also takes pride in the quality of his work. Will definitely use him for projects that I can't do around the house.

There were walls with holes in it that needed fixing, slight remodeling that we needed help with, doors that needed to be installed, etc. With so much work that needed to be done, we were (and have always been) so impressed with how quickly and efficiently they worked to get the job done. The contractor was easy to work with and flexible when it came to scheduling the work that needed to be done. The pricing for everything we asked to be fixed was fair and reasonable. Him and his team took extreme pride in the work they were doing to make sure that the job was done nicely. Without a doubt, if we're looking to remodel our home or get some contracting work done, we know we'll be giving Barsatan Builders a call!

AL Roofing & Rain Gutters came with 37 reviews and 4-1/2 stars, more than enough of a recommendation for me to given them a call. Professional on the phone and when scheduling the appointment, their estimator, Nick called me when he was a few minutes out to let me know he was coming. Just finished talking to Nick about my situation. To my surprise he recommended a completely different course of action. Rather than just agreeing to quote down spouts that might not fix the problem, Nick suggested checking with a plumber about snaking the existing down spouts. It resulted in no new business for him this time but I was very impressed by his integrity and home maintenance being what it is, I know soo we or later I will have a reason to need a roofing or rain gutter company. I know who'll be at the top of my list to call.

Brian and his crew did a beautiful job on our condo renovation! It was basically a whole gut job &…read morethey did it within my one month time line! I've had a vision for this place since we moved here and B Construction was able to bring it to life! Overall I would rate them a 10/10 with a few little hick-ups here and there. First and foremost, the light oak flooring installment looks and feels amazing! Though they didn't rip out the old flooring they were able to seamlessly level our floors. Secondly, the kitchen cabinets turned out elegantly & when they installed the ceiling light, it was the icing on the cake. So beautiful! Moving on to the bathroom, the walk in-shower turned out like out of a magazine. Brian's guys precisely chose every tile to match the wave designs, tile after tile. Love it! In the bathroom they also installed our new vanity, mirror and a few miscellaneous items that were added last minute, no questions asked We also asked his crew to paint the walls & sand down our wood ceiling which both turned out great! They also switch out all our electrical outlets (which means they have a guy that specializes in electrical & plumbing for the bathroom - a huge plus!!!). Lastly, we added two ceiling fans, one in the living room and another in bedroom, which all our neighbors love and get a bunch of comments on! His guys were all super friendly and when I asked them to change something I didn't like, they weren't hesitant to change it right away. With that being said, there were a few hick ups during the renovation. Brian had a couple of projects that his crew were working on at the same as mine which means there was constant confusion for him. When he asked about measurements for our new microwave, he ended up buying another one later on because he thought we were in need of one, which was never the case. My full length mirror was also lost in the process because he thought he thought I said it was rubbish. Lastly, there were some moments when I would text Brian and hear back from him a few days later. Not a convenient way to communicate when on a time crunch. I would also like to add that although problems did arises, they were solved and the outcome was still a masterpiece. I will 100% hire these guys again in the future & now I tell all my friends about them!

Brian keeps communicating throughout the whole process to ensure it's all done as requested - actually our place turned out better than we expected because of Brian's suggestions and input. Everyone he works with also really cares about getting the job done right, not just getting it done and it really shows in the end product. We couldn't be happier with B Construction, and have already booked them for another project in the near future! They are super busy because they earned and enjoy a great reputation. Mahalos to B Construction!

Great Value, Honest, Quality Business…read more 808 Maintenance recently renovated our flooring, and they did an incredible job. Originally, we had bamboo floors that became infested with termites, and we had 808 Maintenance demo the original flooring and change it out to LVT, the results and quality of work exceeded our expectations, we are extremely happy with the work and definitely recommend 808 Maintenance to anyone doing any home renovations. Richard is the owner of the business and he is a great guy, really knowledgeable, honest, reputable businessman. I had gotten estimates from multiple contractors, the estimate from 808 Maintenance was very reasonable and competitive especially given the high quality of work, definitely worth every penny we spent. What I really respect about Richard is that he is not only the owner but also works with his team on the jobs and so he is vastly knowledgeable about how the work should be done, so what he promises you, is exactly what is delivered, if not better. Absolutely NO shady business and he does not try to upsell anything that is not necessary. In fact, during the actual work, the demolition ended up being more work than estimated, plus I also had them do a few extra things than originally agreed, but Richard didn't charge us extra, which was really decent of him. Richard also has a quality team, they were all really nice, professional, very respectful in your home, and highly competent. During the project, I got to know the team members and learned everyone specializes in an area whether it is flooring, electrical work, carpentry, etc., all master craftsmen in their fields and so not surprisingly the work was efficiently completed and high quality. Working with 808 Maintenance and Richard felt more like working with a trusted family friend. They went the extra mile to make things perfect, which was really important to me because I tend to be a perfectionist. I wanted the work to be flawless and to be honest I was kind of demanding, but Richard and his team were all so accommodating. It was easy to work with them on design development and troubleshooting any issues. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be going back to 808 Maintenance for any of our renovation needs. And of course, 808 Maintenance is a locally owned business and my husband and I always love supporting our Hawaii local businesses!
