After a ton of searching I'm happy to say we found our place. We moved in January 1st and so far love it! It wasn't a simple situation because I didn't know if we were going to have a third roommate or not. My best friend had 2 job offers and depending on which one she got was going to determine where she moved. We worked with Suzanne and explained that we definitely had 2 tenants but possibly 3. She had a few properties in both 2 rooms and 3 and actually showed 5 different places to us. We're new to the area so we had a lot of questions, Suzanne who I'm sure is a local answered all of them. I am so disappointed with this company and business SPECIFICALLY Pacific Pointe Apartment Complex in San Clemente, CA . Do not decide to live here or deal with them. Have been here for over a year now and all of a sudden because "corporate" is coming around for inspection they want everything to be perfect and go in your spaces and remove and tear things down without your permission. We were threatened to be evicted for having a fan sit on a desk that is in front of our window because they have NO AC and it gets HOT as hell in the apartment but yet will not allow a fan to be seen if looking in the window. NOT IN THE WINDOW- just in site if looking in. They also tore down our baby gate that isn't even visible at all to the eye along with other things. Zero care or human decency. Do not rent from these people!! Other reviews of how these people work are true. Once you sign the lease they become ghost. Any problems with the apartment will come out of your pocket. They refuse to lift a finger once you given them your money. Among many instances one that takes the cake is how they took more than a day to get a Plummer out to fix a pipe that left my family without running water. Their Plummer did not fix the issue and we had to get our own. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND STAY AWAY. read more

My family and I were looking for a residential property in San Clemente. Suzanne Smith showed us 3 units the first day. One single family home & two apartments. She told us the unit was under going a remodel that would take at least 2 more weeks we told her we only had a week. Seven days later we were moving in . There were some small repairs that needed to be completed. She asked for our schedules and had the work completed when the time was convenient for us. She is a high energy agent and takes care problems the way you want them taken care of QUICKLY.I would use Pacific Point again. read more

Wow. Suzanne Smith. She is a real piece of work. She informed us of a property that would be vacant at the end of the month. We were then asked to submit an application. In the process, I asked my agent to get involved. She then said this company doesn't work with other agents, and hung up on him. So I sent her the application packet my agent put together (she asked me for it before my agent called her). After my agent called her, he wrote to me to inform me that she was rude to him and said they don't work with other real estate agents. So he wrote me back and told me to submit our packet directly to her and he would stay out of it. Well that's when the fun began. She then said we were harassing her and that we needed to leave her alone and that she wasn't in the office today. She then said I could complain to whomever I wanted to because she was the broker of the office and there was no one that could get her in trouble. All we are trying to do is find a place to live. And we did everything she asked. read more

I have been renting properties from Casey for the last five years. A commercial unit and most recently a residence. When I had to find a new place to live Casey couldn't have been more helpful. She found me the perfect home and when I requested some minor repairs, she handled them quickly and happily. I am so impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. Stay away from this management company, My brother passed away last weekend in one of the units they manage and Suzanne Smith has been very rude about situation and will not let us pick up the rest of his belongings. Last Sunday we told here we were picking up are brothers belongings and she had the place boarded up. Suzanne is very unprofessional does not let you talk and does not care about anyone's feelings. She is probably the reason why the company has so many bad reviews. To make things worse she has her workers there and who knows if they are touching his belongings or moving them before his family can. read more

While a large portion of these reviews are based on Suzanne and I did not spend anytime working with her, I can gladly say working with Casey was one of the best experiences I have had with a property management agent. Casey also introduced me to one of her employees, Hiedi Miller, who was also extremely nice and helped a lot with my current situation. This is by far one of the best companies I have had to work with and I would highly recommend renting from them and not listening to the negative reviews that are based on their own issues on why they were not selected to rent, and not based on the whether or not the agent would like to work with them. read more

We recently had a great situation turn into an unfortunate situation renting through this management group. We were heavily screened to move in, are stellar tenants, and are sharing walls with neighbors involved in questionable activity - random people living there, partying, yelling, etc. Pacific point is aware that this is going on and has not managed the situation. We are really unhappy as the tenants, but also feel sorry for the owners of the property who have entrusted this company, and paid them, to manage these units. read more

I agree with almost all who wrote. Most terrible experience with Casey. She dismissed me..rude, discrimination certainty came into play. She did not take care of things in a timely matter and what she would say and do would be two different things. She was rude to my roommate and about 2 years ago when this company took over the property without knowing her and company I recommended that a friend go talk with them. She preceded to office and was treated poorly and walked out. The buzz in town along with these reviews confirms my beliefs. I have kept many correspondences over the last year. I had been at this property for 17 years and then this company took over a couple years ago. What a joke...Not professional. They gave me the 60 day termination said they were going to gut the place and I could move back in at a higher rent. Ha!..They haven't done much..She could not give me a time frame nor a price. I consulted the owners and they said something different. This is just one example. She will rant about the stupidest stuff and not take care of business or follow up and bullshits her way thru her own mistakes. Terrible. Unacceptable.. Anyone who wants more info I will be glad to help out. FYI: My hats off to you if you decided to inquire about property thru them.. I would not. and look at the reviews all terrible... I have never been so explicitly discriminated against in my life. This Suzanne Smith woman is something else. I called the number of a person with an ad on Craigslist. When she found out I have kids, she did not want to show the property to us. Gave me a bunch of reasons why the residence wouldn't be a good fit for kids, including it being on the top floor, the small space, and my income. She did not, however, know what my income was, nor did she know the square footage. The ad also said the residence was available, but upon the disclosure of my having kids, she said it was still being worked on and I couldn't see it. I believe I was discriminated against because I have kids. She stated the rent was $1700 for a single person, but $1750 for a couple. Claimed my wage wasn't good enough based on her assumption of what employees of the company I work for earn to start off with. She didn't, however, ask how much I make now. After I said I have kids, she stated that applicants need to earn 3 times the monthly rent. This wasn't in the ad, although our household income is indeed over three times the monthly rent. She said she felt stairs leading to the unit would be unsafe for kids. I told her I'm capable of protecting my kids from stairs, but she persisted. I asked her what management company she worked for, and she said she didn't work for a management company. She said she was a rental agent with 170 properties. She signed her emails ss, and after googling the phone number she gave me, I found a Suzanne Smith as one of 4 agents working for Pacific Pointe management group. A Yelp search revealed many others have had the same experience.
