When I noticed that a…read morenearby neighbor's house was being treated by Orkin I immediately reached out via Yelp and received a quick reply, and a call to go over various options and pricing. Within a couple of days two Orkin techs were at my door to introduce themselves and say they were going to do a walkaround. At this point they could have charged me anything to get rid of the darned mosquitos, and I'd have been none the wiser. But after the walkaround, they returned to my door to say that - unfortunately - what really needed spraying were the trees which were technically on my next door neighbor's property instead of my own, and that it didn't make sense to charge me so much to spray just the one tree that is on my own property. While I was sad that they were unable to spray and help me get rid of these darn mosquitoes, I was more than impressed and grateful about what an honest interaction it was. I would gladly hire them again in the future if I have any other pest control issues. Also, before the techs left they noticed a couple of small wasp nests in my eaves and cleared them out, free of charge. Thanks, Orkin, for being a company with true integrity!

Shaw called us back to let us know he is the one coming to do the pest inspection for us...great, we are all set. WRONG!! Day of the appointment comes and Shaw never shows up or calls, we call Orkin...come to find out,, they have call centers and of course, no one knows anything and can't find our appointment in the schedule. Eighty miles round trip and over $5 a gallon for fuel doesn't settle well with me! I'll be calling someone local and who cares about their customer service. We'll see if Orkins upper management calls me back as requested. Doubt it.

WARNING SCAM ALERT!!! Requested a quote, told its free. Then later told I need to provide my credit…read morecard information for a FREE quote. This is the first part of the scam, the second is, they email you a form for your credit card info, READ THIS FORM CAREFULLY, this form does more then just give them your credit card info. This form allows them to STORE your credit card indefinately, and it allows them to charge your credit whenever, and it is up to you when you cancel. This is all BEFORE they attend your home, and assess your issue and provide a quote. After i spoke to my partner who practices law , he told me it was ILLEGAL and a serious scam. I mentioned it to Matt Buckley who quickly deleted the link to the form he sent me, and vanished. If they offer a free quote, they should do just that, its part of the business model. If they want your credit card info, be honest about why you want it, and dont leave out important info knowing many people TRUST you and just sign. They were not even apologetic for the misrepresentation or their ill actions

He is very thorough. At one house I had squirrels in my attic and while the previous owner had another company block most of the entry points they missed some and Ryan solved the problem and installed a one way door so the squirrels could not get back in once they left. The previous owner used poison and that left a few dead carcasses in the attic. As import as being good is, just as import is being honest. Ryan will only recommend and do what is needed. If there is another trade like a roofer that can fix a problem better than him, he will recommend that - this is being honest and recommending to customers what is best for them. Matt has come out to check bait boxes for us and he is friendly, honest, and very willing to explain anything to you. I was very impressed when he did his initial walk around of our house because he then walked me around and showed me places that mice could possibly have access into our home and told me how we could fix those. Matt also recommended we stop treatment after the initial 3 treatments, so I felt there was integrity in his recommendation. I did go ahead and get one additional treatment just to be sure, but I appreciated his recommendation and all his hard work.
