    Table/Prep Area Countertop.

We did not book directly with Pacific NW Marble & Granite - our flooring and cabinet contractor booked our job. Honestly, it was probably the only part of the condo remodel that has gone completely as planned. The guys were on time and professional. There were a couple small items that needed to be addressed, like the need to cut into the window trim at one point to fit the backsplash. At another point, they had to join two small backsplash slabs together, and you would never know there was a seam. I've included some pictures... please understand that the unit is still under remodel - but try to focus on the fabulous countertops. If we needed more countertops - or decide to renovate another kitchen - we'd definitely hire Pacific NW Marble & Granite.

The damage on the floor they wouldn't fix

We worked with PNW Marble & Granite through Lowe's, and there were issues from start to finish. I would summarize my experience as such: they were careless, had poor communication between teams, and delivered below expectations every step of the way. It must be nice when everyone is so desperate to have home projects done that you can treat your customers like garbage and still have plenty of business. First, when they came to tear out the existing countertops, their workers damaged our floors (in reading the other reviews, this sounds common), and my contact immediately replied with our contract where it showed this was Not Their Problem (this will be a common theme throughout my experience). Next, the day before they came to install they didn't have a long enough slab, so I had to agree to two pieces with a seam. Our slab needed to be 123" and they could only secure a 120" slab. Again, no choice in the matter, we're just screwed. Not Their Problem. When the crews arrived, they were missing a piece to go over the window sill that I had repeatedly mentioned to Lowe's and to the tear out crew. No apologies from them, no admission of mistake and it was over a week (and lots of fighting with Lowe's and these guys) before they finally installed the missing piece. Oh, by the way, they don't install a replacement trim piece above the dishwasher. I still haven't figured out how to handle that. Not Their Problem. Two months later, and the quartz chips a hole about an inch in diameter from a very minor hit to the countertop. Again, they are ready with the paperwork which clearly notes that this is Not Their Problem. To fix it, they demanded $250 paid upfront and it would be over 3 weeks before they could send anyone out. I found a guy on Craigslist that fixed it a few days later for $200. Overall, I'm glad we have quartz countertops, but I would never, ever work with this company again, and I recommend you avoid them at all costs, too.

The kitchen isn't complete yet but it sure looks like a kitchen now. Thanks guys!

The guys just left. They installed countertops for me through Ikea. They look great. The guys were friendly clean and professional, I was very pleased. The attention they paid to the fine details such as making sure the sink was perfectly fitted and dead on square. A really good thing was their turn around. It was barely over a week and this is the busy season. I will use them again and look forward to our next job.

We had nothing but a good experience with Pacific NW Marble & Granite, they were actually the only contractors on our kitchen remodel that came through 100%. Our quartz counters were cut and installed perfectly on the first try, and any seams between slabs are nearly invisible. The installers Keith R and Mike C were courteous and did a killer job with the install. I would definitely use Pacific NW Marble & Granite again, but the hell if I'm going to be doing any more kitchen remodels anytime soon.

Countertops purchased through IKEA in June 2021 and we were required to partner with Pacific NW Marble & Granite for install. Day before Pacific NW was scheduled to install, they called to say they couldn't fit all three of our pieces on the two slabs they had, so we would need to add a seam in the middle of one of our countertops. That wasn't what we purchased or agreed to and couldn't be supported by our cabinets that way, so we requested they reach out to IKEA to get approval for a third slab to align with what we had purchased. Pacific NW said it would take a little time to do that, but that they would come to install the other countertops as planned the next day and would come back at a later date with the third countertop once they got the extra slab. When the crew arrived, they said one of the countertops they brought with them was cut too small (there was a significant gap on both sides) and they said it was beyond the threshold of acceptable, so they would take it back to be fixed and would plan to install it when they came back with the third piece. So only 1 piece was installed that day. When we hadn't heard from Pacific NW after several weeks, we called asking about the two pieces we were waiting on and the lady we spoke with had no record of the second piece that the crew said was too small. We had to send her pictures of the gaps and had to relay what the crew said about taking it back to be fixed. She blamed us for the delay in returning to install the missing countertops because we didn't want a seam. Forget the fact that we didn't pay to have a seam and she waited until the day before install to even raise the issue with us. She said the crew would come back to install the two missing pieces. A couple weeks later, the crew came back but only had one countertop with them (they didn't have the too small / recut piece with them as promised). A third crew finally came back two weeks later to install the last piece (note that it is now October, 4 months after we they originally came out to template) and it was clear it was the same piece as the first failed install (not recut, still way too small). The crew was very apologetic because it was clearly too small and not acceptable per their standards. They did their best to patch the gaps on the sides with caulk, but as you can see from the pictures, the gaps are significant and obvious. Unfortunately, two of the three crews also failed to caulk the back of the counter where the countertop meets the wall so there are just open gaps in those places. We relayed these concerns again to Pacific NW and we were told she would escalate to her supervisor. It has now been two weeks and despite multiple follow ups on our end, we have not heard anything from Pacific NW. They are completely unresponsive. We resorted to filing a BBB complaint. We have relayed our complaint to IKEA and highly discourage anyone from working with Pacific NW. The amount of time we spent waiting for ultimately an extremely poor quality install, combined with the complete lack of responsiveness / customer support and customer blaming has been astonishing. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Francisco, Rafael and Chris did a great job installing our counter tops in our brand new retail store. I was called a couple of days in advance with a time frame of when they would show up. I was also called 30 minutes prior to them showing up on the day of install. They were very professional and got the job done quick and beautifully. Thank you guys!

    First slab, cracked

I have been trying to get counters done for 2 months, first install was a nightmare, broke the granite and had a horrible seam, second install tried to blame a a bad "plug" as a fill from the quarry and attempted to repair only making the bad spot from a 1/2" to a 5" dull spot, third attempt, 10 minutes of all three installers in the trailer before bringing in first section of counter with an obvious crack and glue still on it and even after asking if they made a repair attempt was told that they were getting the silicone off of the sink, which was already in the kitchen, we have been assured that there would be inspections done each step of the way and still received a damaged product. We have had to fight and ask for answers every step of the way only to receive deception and deflection. Now I have no counters and no idea what is next! Don't return calls, texts or emails! Horrible customer service, treating us as if it's our fault!

really???? You can see where the old counter lined up. They let this leave the shop, and the install crew didn't do the right thing!!

Norman, Sharon, Wen, and Ian are exceptional--not just in their craftsmanship, but as people. They are some of the kindest and most genuine individuals we've had the pleasure of working with. They care deeply about what they do, and it shows in both the quality of their work and their reliability and responsiveness. The way they treat their clients is truly next level. They are consistently on time, dependable, and deliver beautiful results. Norman has an incredible eye for selections, and I really enjoyed learning from him about cabinetry craftsmanship. Since this was our first home remodel, we leaned on his advice often--and many of his suggestions ended up shaping our home in the best way. Throughout the entire process, they went above and beyond. Anytime we had a vision, we could call Norman and the team, and they would find a way to bring it to life. Norman would come out, take measurements, and make it happen. When I wanted a custom bookcase, they absolutely delivered. That level of dedication and follow-through is rare. Wen also played a huge role throughout our remodel. From answering every question to supporting us through the final stages, he was incredibly kind, patient, and present the entire time. The customer service we experienced was outstanding, and the quality of the materials, custom cabinetry, and installation exceeded our expectations. You won't regret working with this team. It's rare to find people who care this much about their craft and their clients. We're incredibly grateful to them for showing us what true excellence looks like.

We have been putting off writing a review because we wanted to share pictures after completing our backsplash. Neither of us write reviews very often, but this job was such a huge success so we needed to give them props. We are just going to list off what we liked... 1. Our kitchen is larger than a standard kitchen where all the other shops quoted needing 2 slabs to get the job done. Budget was the only shop that recommended using a Jumbo slab for our kitchen which saved us $$. 2. All we had to do is text Ian a picture of our kitchen layout to get a quote. We had a quote that same day. 3. Phone conversations were great! We had some questions about the edges and the free kitchen sink size (30" vs 32") they were including and they were responsive. 4. Easy process to get the ball rolling. All we had to do to get job going was put down 50% of the cost to have measurements done the following week, then they were out installing the countertops 2 weeks after that. 5. They showed up to install when they said they would. We were told installers would show up between 8-9am and they arrived at 8:15am and were done with our install about 4 hours later. 6. Cleanliness was exceptional - they even put cloth down to protect our flooring. 7. Our experience was so great and have been telling our friends about them if they ever need new countertops. 8. We are going to copy and paste this review into Google as well to get the word out. You don't find many businesses that are this good very often these days, especially when it comes to construction projects:) Alex & Christina S.

Due to the cabinets also being white the white tile was just TOO much along with the stainless appliances. Their system of using digital cameras to measure the existing counters resulted in just 3 days to remove the ceramic tile and install new counters in the kitchen and dining room, which was a large square footage. The result was amazing and down time was minimal. When we bought an older home in Tigard in 2013 I gutted the kitchen down to studs and rearranged it. We installed all new cabinets and Crowleys supplied a type of stone that made the new kitchen a showpiece of the remodeled home. Again their work was amazing and still perfect and they supplied a stainless faucet as a convenience to us. I can recommend Crowleys for anytype of granite or kitchen stone heartily.

Now it's too thick, all others look good but for some reason it seemed like they were too lazy to cut the kitchen backsplash correctly. And if they tell you it's because of the length, and it's fragile, then cut more pieces and bond them together! Duh. Also, when I called to buy back my remnant, was absolutely treated like garbage from the gal who answered. Apparently, I put extra work on her by asking her to run out to the back and give me a quote, then they wanted a delivery charge to make a special trip, oh BTW, they had to make a special trip anyway to give me my 24"x3" piece.
