I love Pacific Nails. I have been going about every 2-3 weeks for the last year and a half. Everyone knows my name and is so friendly. I've gotten gel full sets and gel manicures, as well as gel pedicures. They are very detail oriented and spend a lot of time with you--I would know because I am very picky haha. Tiffany, the owner, is the sweetest person. She remembers everything, too; from the colors you like to literally everyone's name. Prices are very affordable and they don't nickel and dime you for little things. Like, you get a broken nail-they fix it for free. You need polish removed, it's included. Highly recommend! read more

Just returned from this salon and I must say I find it extremely irritating that every time I go here, I ask for " a few moments"when I first arrive to choose just the right color from the many gel nail color samples. Instead someone seats me immediately and begins wrapping my nails to remove the old polish making it very difficult look through all the color samples. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that I don't have to wait for service but I would appreciate the chance to just look at colors without being rushed. I've mentioned before to the nail tech that whatever color I select I have to live with for two weeks therefore I'd like to make sure I pick a color I am happy with, but they don't seem to get the hint. I'm a fan. I have been looking for a place to get my nails done at a reasonable price, I just moved to the area from Charlotte. The prices at Pacific Nails are reasonable and the service is amazing. They spend a fair amount of time scrubbing and massaging your feet and legs, in addition to doing a quality job on the manicure and pedicure itself. I will definitely be back for a repeat. read more

My favorite salon in the RDU area. I went to Pacific all the time when I was in college. I live in Chicago now, otherwise I would still go here. The salon looks very nice on the inside with comfortable chairs and stations. They have great colors and are always very attentive. They offer beverages and truly provide a nice experience. This was my first experience at the salon. my normal salon was already booked and I needed to just get a quick fill and change of color. I walked in they took me very quickly but the nail artist that I was put with had a very bad attitude and didn't care to listen to me. also that one color I wanted was not available anymore so we tried a few things and I just ended up going with something I wasn't too pleased with. also they had asked me where I normally go and had looked it up right in front of me and started laughing about the reviews even though they have a five star review I felt disrespected ! read more

Not your average nail salon. This has always been my go-to nail salon, but they have recently renovated and expanded and now it looks and feels like a spa! Soothing music is piped in, water, wine or champagne are available, the place is decorated with serene colors and upscale finishes. I highly recommend. read more

I moved to the area one year ago, and tried several nail salons in the area before choosing Pacific Nails as my favorite. The staff is friendly, and they work hard to meet my expectations (I am a bit particular on how I like my nails done), which I like. The quality of the work is phenomenal too; the gel nails don't lift from the nail and don't chip like they did from other salons. I also feel like they make recommendations based on what fits my needs, rather than what generates more profit. Just like most other salons though, they do irritate me on occasion by asking me to get unrelated services, such as eyebrow waxing (I have never said yes, and don't intend to!). The salon also feels clean and tidy. I do wish that supplemental services, like a manicure with a gel fill, was more cost effective. In addition, I feel like I can relax while getting my nails done because the salon itself is nicely decorated and relatively quiet, and also because the staff doesn't speak in another language the entire time (they do some though), so I don't feel like they are talking about me or other customers like I do in other salons. The biggest challenge with this salon is its location; it's occasionally difficult (but not impossible) to find parking, even if they aren't busy, since they are located near a restaurant and I tend to attend the salon during dinner hours. read more

I've had some experiences here better than others but I have found my favorite nail tech and officially have no reason to look elsewhere. Ashley does an amazing job with my gel manicures and I am very picky. Not only do they look amazing but they more often than not last longer than 2 weeks with very minimal to no chipping! I'm honestly surprised by the less than 5 star reviews. I have high standards for people who provide personal services and am a frequent customer at Pacific Nails. The newly renovated space is beautiful, it's a welcoming atmosphere, it is always very clean, there are a million colors to choose from and the girls all do a super job (it makes their job much easier if you take the time to politely and clearly communicate your expectations). I tried a new "luxury" nail salon in Apex recently and very much regretted that decision as I ended up with a fungus and paid much more than what Pacific Nails charge me. I have recently been here 3 times within a few months. Today when i came in i got nena with a fill in. i was very unsatisfied with the outcome. the nails were not square at all, I asked for a design and she seemed so unsure of not knowing how to do so. I also asked her to clean my nails well before polishing them again, i would have expected her to buff and wipe them off well before polishing again. read more

I had a pedicure. The tech was getting the calluses off my heel and took too much off and made it raw. I didn't realize it until she put it back in the water. I expressed how it hurt she looked at the heel and wanted to know if I had a cut prior. I told her no, you rubbed too much off. That was it. She didn't apologize or offer a bandaid. It has been 4 days and it is still an open sore. The nails look nice, but because of the way the tech handled her mistake I will not be going back there. read more

I've been going to this nail salon since it opened and recently took my mom who lives an hour away. She now drives an hour to get her manicures and pedicures at Pacific Nails! They have a huge selection of OPI polish and shellac colors. There's always a lot of manacurist so there is little to no wait and everyone is so sweet. And they always offer wine! read more

I made an appt. 2 days ago for a french manicure and it was horrible. The girl didn't even know there were many types of a french manicure and was confused when I had asked for the pink french manicure. She pulled out an old bottle of a pink glaze and I had explained to her that it's more of a light pink color needed. I had to get up and go to the wall to find the only light pink polish left. She continued to proceed, only to find out that the light pink and the clear nail polish she used over that was so goopy and old, that it created bubbles in my nails and the pink polish was in lumps on my nail. I talked to the manager, Tiffany, who didn't even care to listen and told me to come back tomorrow to get them redone. That was $20 and a hr. wasted of my time. So yesterday, I called to schedule an apt. with Angela. I decided to go with the gel polish instead, after my horrible experience yesterday and how they were already in bad shape after 12hrs. She told me that since it was $30 for gel, then I would only pay $10.. makes sense right? After getting done, Tiffany, the owner, said it would be a total of $25!!!! She said that since I received a manicure yesterday, she would only deducted $5 for the polish since I received the gel and not another french manicure!! I explained to her that from what I was told, I was only to pay $10 which is the difference between the $20 french manicure to the $30 gel. She proceeded to get nasty and said that it would be $25 even after wasting 1 hr the day prior and another 45min. to get them fixed after the horrible job they had done. How does a company get away with this?? Unreal.. will not be back again. read more
