I have done everything right, but the crown Dr. Woldemicael put in has issues and has caused some decay. This is just 2 years after Dr. Woldemicael put the crown on! This is going to cost me a lot of money for something that already cost me a lot out of pocket at her practice. I am pretty upset.

I came to Dr. Mimi after a recommendation from a friend and my vanity has thanked me ever since. Dr. Mimi and her wonderful staff listened to what I wanted and got me the perfect shade and shape after only 1 visit! Now I can't even tell which one of my teeth is made of veneer because it blends in so perfectly with the rest of my mouth. Dr. Mimi's drive for perfection and her friendly and knowledgable staff really impressed me. If they can get a tricky cosmetic procedure done with such ease, I can't imagine how thorough they will be with the other procedures. I'm definitely switching to Dr. Mimi as my regular dentist.

Dr. Gray is always professional and friendly as well, so we don't mind coming here again and again even though we moved nearly half an hour away. I wish the parking lot was bigger because it can get busy at lunch time. And the elevator is so slow and scary, but that's their landlord's fault. Highly recommend otherwise!

I had to follow up several times and they said my insurance was the hold up, but when I called my insurance, they said they sent their estimate to Seattle Special Care Dentistry weeks before (just a few days after the appt). It wasn't until I called my referring dentist to complain about the lack of customer service that I finally got a quote the next day. Seattle Special Care Dentistry clearly doesn't care and doesn't want your business.

But since I had such a fantastic experience with Dr. Siew, I asked for my next appointment to be with Dr. Siew as the dental hygienist and examining dentist. -The third time my dental hygienist was a UW graduate. The way he talked and worked felt he had just graduated college and had zero experience being a dental hygienist. Dr. Donna Le-Barnes was so empathetic and caring as was her coworker, Kalena. I told her I was nervous to get a filling and she was so understanding. She went out of her way to ask what she could do to make it easier for me, including if I wanted to know about what was happening or not. While it'll never be fun to have to get a filling, I am so grateful for the care I received from Dr. Le-Barnes. If you have any phobias around dental care, I highly recommend her!

For the first appointment, the dentist was late and my partner had to use the bathroom, when my partner had finished, her things were at the reception desk and the dentist was nowhere to be found to give her any guidance on how to use the sleep apnea at-home test. Fast forward to today, my partner went to get a crown and was only told AFTER her tooth was already ground down that this was only a temporary crown. Had we known that this would only be a temporary crown, we wouldn't have scheduled her dentist appointment a week before Thanksgiving. There was zero anticipatory guidance before the temporary crown was place or even during. My partner had to advocate for herself as far as what she could eat (nothing chewy like bread or sandwiches a week before Thanksgiving, great) and only got that advice because she had to pester the dentist for it. The dentist said to only chew with one side of her mouth, which makes me wonder if she would've had said anything had we not asked. The dentist didn't give any explanation before doing anything, my partner had to ask all the questions and the lack of communication was so astounding that I had to check with my friend that this was indeed the same dentist due to their very differing experiences. Not only that, but my partner was quoted $600 for the crown placement but ended up having to pay $1000 because they repaired a cracked filling that they never even mentioned having to repair in addition to the crown. My partner was not prepped at all for what this appointment would entail and we were very disappointed with how everything went down. Terrible communication, zero anticipatory guidance, would not recommend in the slightest.
