I was skeptical that they would be able to prescribe any antibiotics, but I called and the agent took my information. Within 20 minutes a medical person called back (not sure if it was a doctor or nurse practitioner ) we went through some questions about symptoms and she prescribed an antibiotic. Just like that! Since it was now after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, most pharmacies were closed. The agent called around on my behalf and found a 24 hour pharmacy near me. The customer service and follow through were excellent. The whole thing (outside of the prescription) cost $45. (If they can't prescribe anything there is no charge) and well worth it. An urgent care visit would have been three times as much, plus the wait and stress on my kiddo. Absolutely an excellent experience.

We narrowed in on a few possibilities and from there she ordered X-rays and prescribed me medications she felt (and I do as well) we're necessary. Honestly, I was a bit worried about the potential bill of my visit but when Jennifer called me she was able to address that concern and provide more insight into what my billing would look like at a high level. I have very good insurance and thankfully this visit was covered. Overall, I would recommend this location and Stanfords healthcare services. I know not everyone has the same insurance as I do so their ability to visit a Stanford provider maybe limited but if you can, I highly recommend it.

My husband took me to the emergency room instead of returning to her clinic. Blood tests were done immediately, and I was admitted to the ICU due to hyponatremia (low sodium levels in my blood). The hospital staff told me the timing was critical and that they saved my life. This happened seven years ago. This is typical clinic environment which I work in so I expected it, so try to plan ahead! I was talking to a resident I think and basically went over my health history with him and then Dr Nguyen came after and we talked briefly and what she recommended based on the problems I talked about. I got a paper to take to quest diagnostics for blood test and I got prescribed medications. Dr Nguyen was very pleasant to talk to and gave me a nice explanation of my test results and what to look out for in the future. Overall a good experience and they returned calls pretty quickly.

She always takes the time to listen (never interrupt me) and to explain when there's any need for test, medication, or just medical advises. She even shared some personal experiences for childcare when it's not her duty to share (I have a toddler). Every time I see Dr. Melissa Huck-Nguyen, I feel very comforting, yet she's straight forward on issues that are danger to my health. She doesn't try to sell any unnecessarily doctor's visit (even before COVID), test or medicine like some other doctors do. A few times she just replied my messages with answers/suggestions to some medical concerns without having me making an appointment.
