    Tapioca Flours are very cheap

I have taken a look at this place for the very first time and it's very interesting to say at the least. Let's start with the good: The store is PACKED with South-Eastern Asian goodies unavailable in hmart. Prices as well appeared cheaper if not the same price. Also, this place sells organ meat of animals ans even bulat eggs. Even pork brains are available. I enjoy this variety. There is even a warm food section; foods appear to be made daily! Smelled delicious! Now the bad: The store obviously needs better care. Because it's quite compact, there's a lot of bad produce along with good produce. This place needs to resort. Vegetables are right next to frozen fishes. The sanitation is highly questionable here. Also, beware of food products you purchase. Many foods come with warnings mentioning eating a FOOD product may expose you to LEAD. I do not know much about the Cali 65 warnings, but this sounds very serious and a potential health hazard.

It has a great selection, but can improve on lots of things. When you get into the store, it's very cramped. There's a couple of cashiers, and narrow isles. It is impossible to fit two carts side by side in one lane. It is also fully lit towards the back of the store, which makes it unaesthetically pleasing. It can be hard to navigate through the store. However, my family is a fan of their Filipino desserts (I.e. ice cream, Clover chips, and I've flavored snacks). My grandmother is a huge fan of the owner, Mama.

Superb shop for everyday and specialty items. Highly recommended for your fresh seafood and produce needs

Great place to get Asian groceries or prepared food and desserts. Plenty of parking. Have most fresh and frozen groceries, fruits, vegetables for Asian foods. Also have frozen/ fresh fish and seafood. Price is average.

This is where you get the super-nice meat and fish that supermarkets and big-box stores don't have. And their house-made fish dips are amazing. In long It's a little strip mall by the Speedway that would be kinda sleepy except for the drive-through coffee line constantly forming around the whole building. E&O have the end unit. You walk in to a shelf full of solid-value wines, mostly local, aimed to pair with whatever you might take home with you to cook. The ceilings are high, and the walls and floors are all spotless white. No decorations, very little merchandising, if any. There's a long butcher case on the left full of all kinds of crazy treats. Prawns the size of bratwursts. Steaks, roasts, different fish. They skip most of the stuff that supermarkets carry and focus only on more-specialty stuff. Their stock is either a nicer version or it's something that's unavailable elsewhere. You do pay for quality like this on some of the stuff, but if you're cooking a meal you're really looking forward to, the value makes it reasonable. Not everything is expensive, either. They had fresh lemons on the case for 40% less than the supermarket up the street. They had reds, whites, bubblies, and pinks in the wine section with every bottle under $20. And those fish dips, man. I'm surprised they don't sell out by afternoon every day. We had wild salmon and black cod dips before dinner last night, and both were fantastic. They're very well balanced, so maybe you could add hot sauce or fresh herbs to taste, but we've had them several times and never felt compelled to tune them up. The dudes behind the butcher case have decades of industry experience, and they couldn't be nicer, more patient, or more helpful. I love shopping here.

We stayed out of the middle aisles, shopping on the edges. The last time we were in, the original sushi people were gone, replaced by some run of the mill contractor with fishy tasting garbage. This time, prices were unbelievable. We all know that Covid affected the supply chain and things got expensive. The supply chain has been fine for awhile, yet everything is ridiculously expensive. I am not poor. I think I have a relatively decent income. When I mentioned that I was likely to stop including this store as a regular option, I was met with death stares. Seriously? We were followed to our car and asked to not come back. Seriously? I actually went back inside and took photos of the staff running away from me. We weren't violent. We didn't cuss. We weren't loud. We just called you out for being a money-hungry conglomerate charging as much as the richest customer will pay. You should be ashamed at how exclusionary your store really is. And obviously your staff isn't trained on anything remotely close to empathy. If they were, there attitude would have been much better. Effen Mill Creek snobs.

This is a smaller neighborhood Asian grocery that really does a pretty good job with providing the necessary ingredients you won't find at Safeway. Yes the bigger proliferating giant Asian markets might be worth the drive for larger needs. I shop at them regularly. But this place has specialized produce, meats, seafood, and packaged goods to solve your list needs. I noticed that they have large pork belly portions for when you want to do a Lechon roast. I'm getting one of those soon for me rotisserie. I'm looking forward to ordering a Bahn mi or at least taking home some of their fresh baguette soon. Last night I was too full of noodles to care. BUT the fresh made kimchee is amongst the best I've had including local restaurants and H Mart!!! It's exceptionally heavy in garlic and seasoning without being too spicy. Koreans may not care for this but it's my version of Asian crack! Can't quit eating it day and night when I have done and I notice there is none left over later to make soup with! At $4.99 for a standard tub it's affordable and really tasty. Even as a cooking ingredient.

The online menu asked what two sides you want with the Loco Moco. It showed a plate with two burgers, two eggs on a large bed of rice plus gravy...and what looks to be macaroni salad for 13.75. It asks what you want for your first side. It asks what you want for your 2nd side. I am guessing you get 2 sides with the rice/burgers. I was not real sure. So I asked for 2 sides of macaroni. It asks for mini or 2.50 for regular. I am thinking they will give you reg. side macaroni for 2.50 more. I go back and ask for mini. I do not need that much macaroni. Very disappointed to open the take out container to find zero rice and one small burger with an egg sitting in gravy and 2 sides of macaroni. They need to make this more clear. You only get 2 burgers and eggs if you add 2.50 (regular size). If you choose mini its not for the size of the sides but way less meat. I believe the photo and wording were very misleading. We also ordered Mochiko Chicken....Macaroni salad and broccoli, also a mini. I had it once before, somewhere else, and loved it. Ordered a Hawaiian Chicken BBQ plate, again mini and 2 sides. Did not like either of them. Hawaiian chicken BBQ was like a chicken thigh flattened with soy sauce maybe...no sweetness etc. They both kind of tasted the same. My 2 adult kids barely ate any of it. This was a real treat for us on a very sad day and it was not what we were expecting.....The macaroni salad was just ok...if I added salt. Said We could save 15% with ordering more so we ordered the won tons. They did not come with sweet and sour sauce but sweet chili sauce. I did not care for it at all with the fried won tons. I will not be ordering from again.

Pre-Covid pricing?! Inflation, what inflation? I love you WinCo!…read more This store has the exact layout and signage of older Cub Foods stores in Minnesota and other Midwest states. I worked at Cub for about 10 years in the 90s so I almost fainted when I walked in a few weeks ago. It is an exact replica. I've been in the area for 3 years and have been so disappointed in the grocery stores here. Prices elsewhere (I'm especially looking at you Safeway ) are convenience store levels of ridiculousness. And product selection is usually dire at conventional stores unless it's Walmart (ugh) or Fred Meyer. I get it, conventional grocery stores are pricier because of "service". But let's be honest here. Mainstream grocery stores now offer less than zero service. Shoppers are generally treated like an inconvenience. "Hey Safeway clerk, your 2% milk is empty at 5pm. Can you please bring some out? No? What do you mean you don't have anyone to restock?" Hmm, only self-checkout open? Let me ALSO do your employee's job. Do I get a self-checkout discount? Previous to my recent discovery of WinCo, I bought staples at Costco and only shopped the BOGOs or loss-leaders at QFC/FredMeyer and Safeway with an occasional emergency visit for a needed item or two. But I think I could do 99% of my shopping at WinCo, get everything I need and still save a significant amount of money. Does anyone know of the connection between WinCo and Midwest-based Cub Foods? The similarities are not coincidental because the signage and layout are identical and unique.

Went to this location and used the self checkout to purchase a 5 gallon water refill because the…read moreregular lines were extremely long. While I was entering my cash, an employee named Tara came up, leaned over, and in an accusatory tone asked if I had entered the water, scrutinizing my screen closely and even putting on her glasses to "inspect" it. When I told her I had and asked if she could check her own screen, Tara became offended and escalated the situation, yelling in front of other customers, "You don't have to be rude, I am just doing my job. I can call a manager." This public humiliation was completely unnecessary. After completing the transaction, I spoke to the store manager on duty, only to be met with a generic "I will talk to her," with no meaningful resolution. This incident raises serious concerns about Winco's self checkout procedures. Customers are already forced to perform cashier duties due to understaffing, and now we are subjected to suspicion and harassment for simply doing their job. Checking for unscanned items is part of an employee's job, yet Tara chose to publicly accuse and yell at a paying customer instead. Winco, this behavior is unacceptable. Self checkout should not come with humiliation, intimidation, or yelling from employees. Your staff needs proper training to treat customers with respect while doing their jobs
