They used an iPad like machine to order your food with your cellphone number. They have your standard bars like burgers, sandwiches, wraps, grill foods, soups, pre made sandwiches, fruits, tougher, sweets and a coffee/tea bar across from the grill. Once you order and if you choose to make substitutions you pay by card or cash. A receipt prints with an order number. The chef will call out your order number when your food is ready. There will also be a text message sent regarding the status of your food.

Pacific Kitchen just opened up here at MacArthur Court and it's a great addition to the offices nearby. If you want to have lunch freshly made in front of you, go here! I've been coming about 3x a week ever since they opened. Their menu rotates weekly, and has a breakfast menu. There are kiosks in the cafe that allow you to customize your food and pay on the spot so you don't have to be in line. Once you're finished with your order, a receipt will be printed and they'll call out your # or you will see it ready on the screens inside the cafe. They don't have regular tv or anything, it's just a place for you to get your food, sit down to eat by yourself/colleagues and then you're out. They also offer croissants, bagels, lattes, sushi, pre-packaged salads and sandwiches. There is always a manager or two who can always answer your question and are more than happy to receive feedback. If you don't work in the buildings, then you will probably have to pay the regular fees for parking. The cafe is hidden within the middle building but there are signs to tell you where the Cafe is. The process here is efficient when you're in a hurry, affordable/competitive prices. If you work within the area, I recommend checking it out, it's a great modern cafe.

The brunch was excellent and I highly recommend the chilaquiles (add the pulled pork!) and the cinnamon bun. The service and ambiance were top notch. And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.

We got the cranberry sage mimosa and pear ginger mimosa to drink. For a starter, we got the house made biscuits. Our entrees were the pblt, crab cake benedict, and lobster roll. Cranberry Sage Mimosa- This is sweet and fruity, carried by the cranberry sage syrup. A touch of lime gives it an extra burst of citrus. Pear Ginger Mimosa- This is a sweet and spicy drink with a strong pear flavor and a little zing of ginger. Quite refreshing! House Made Biscuits- The biscuits are hot and fluffy with a nice crusty top. Served with thyme butter and sweet honey spread. PBLT- This sandwich has a pork belly base that is savory and meaty. A bit of tomato jam gives it a nice contrast and honey bacon aioli adds a little sweetness. Crab Cake Benedict- The crab cake is fresh and poached eggs add extra bulk with each bite. The hollandaise sauce ties the flavors together. Served with a side of green salad. Lobster Roll- Fresh lobster pieces tossed in a cold mayo dressing. The service, however, was pretty slow, and some of the servers came across rude. Thankfully our server Josh was cool, funny, and probably the highlight of the service experience. I ordered the Chilean sea bass while my sister and mom both got steak. We also shared shrimp and a salad, but they brought out the tiniest plates imaginable for sharing. By the time dessert came around, things took a turn for the worse. I suddenly had to make a full sprint to the restroom and let's just say... my dinner did not survive the evening. When your stomach starts rumbling like distant thunder over the Pacific, there's no "I'll wait until I get home." Restaurant restroom it was. Since everyone shared everything except my fish, I'm assuming the sea bass may have been the culprit because I was the only one who got sick. Unfortunately, it didn't stop once I got home either. Overall, I loved the ambiance, but getting violently sick after dinner makes it hard to want to come back... even if I did leave feeling 15 pounds lighter.

The Pork Belly with Black Garlic and the Seared Duck Breast were both perfectly executed. Crunchy, golden skin. Juicy meat. Rich, flavorful sauces paired with comforting, silky purées. Balanced. The kind of plates that make us slow down to savor each mouthful... and then shamelessly scrape up every last bite. We were so smitten after those first two dishes that we threw all caution and control to the wind. I asked staff to surprise us with one of the dishes recommended earlier. Out came the Grilled Octopus Al Pastor. Nice char, tender bite, and a tangy sauce. For dessert: the Baklava Cheesecake. Lightly spritzed with aromatic rose water, ultra sweet, and unapologetically indulgent. Beautifully crafted and shareable, though you may not want to. Beyond the food, the ambience really shines. Intimate, classy, and whimsical, with a charming playlist. Ideal for date nights or special celebrations. Service was outstanding. Warm, attentive, and passionate. Staff enthusiastically walked us through the menu and offered recommendations. Our server was on point. Water glasses were never empty, plates cleared promptly, and everything flowed seamlessly. An incredible experience from start to finish. I couldn't stop yapping about the duck and pork belly since our first dinner here. So we came back the following weekend! We ordered our favorites again - the Pork Belly with Black Garlic and the Seared Duck Breast. To our surprise, the meats felt rather chewy and tough. I'm hoping this was a hiccup, but would love to see consistency in texture. Will be coming back for more :)

This is really out of the way for us, but since we were doing some shopping in Costa Mesa, Grok recommended this restaurant based on a few of our filters... Wow, the food was phenomenal...but what pushed this from a 4 star to a 5 star experience were the warm towelettes and lemon for me to wash my hands with. I guess they saw me using my hands to eat their delectable empanadas, they brought a plate with warm towelettes and lemon over. Pleasantly surprised and impressed. The ambiance is a big part of it, dark, moody, and really well done. It feels polished and upscale without being over the top. Service is next level. Small details stand out, like them swapping out my martini glass midway through the drink to keep it ice cold. That kind of attention is rare and makes a difference. One thing to note, they do enforce a dress code. I was asked to remove my hat when I walked in, so just be aware of that going in. The food is where it really shines. The Osaka-style pressed sushi is a must, super clean, balanced, and just melts. I could eat 4 of those and call it a night if everything else wasn't so good! The Thai Tuna Roll brings a little more punch but is still really refined. The yellowtail salad is one of my favorites, light, fresh, and perfectly dressed. And you absolutely cannot skip the artichoke, it's a staple for a reason, rich, shareable, and consistently great. On the heavier side, the French dip is incredible. Tender, flavorful, and paired with that au jus, it's one of the best versions around. And my vote for the best horseradish cream anywhere. It's not cheap, but you know what you're getting, and it's worth it. Definitely a go-to spot when you want a reliable, high-quality meal in Irvine. Note that reservations are recommended, it books quickly and there are lots of business lunches and dinners here due to the location.
