It's been a very long time I've have the chance to enjoy this establishment. I remember the service was great and food was even better. Today I took my boys out to enjoy this place once again. And after a very pleasant greeting and seating. We got what we ordered in less than 15mins. The food was looking just as good as I remember. But once I was able to smell the fried rice, instantly I could tell the rice had been burnt not just fried. I tasted a bit of it just to confirm and sure enough it was indeed burnt. Informed the waitress and her words "oh they gave you THAT ONE". We replaced with regular steamed rice and that was perfectly fine. My son ordered Beef n broccoli and on the surface it looked edible. Once you taste the beef you automatically feel like you're chewing flavored bubble wrap. And I am not exaggerating abt tht at all. It was the worst meal I have ever tried in my life. We immediately informed the waitress again abt this issue and requested the bill and boxes for the other two meals. The waitress was wonderful and fixed the bill for what was eaten/taken home. Left a tip of 25% gratuity for HER efforts. Heard rumbling from the staff in the back but I'm not sure exactly who or what was said but it sure didn't sound positive. Under new management. Service and Food were excellant, so much better than before. Also more expensive, but what restaurant hasn't increased the cost since Covid. No more frozen veggies, these are fresh and taste it. We had Orange chicken and special low mein. Both were excellant. Ambiance hasn't changed much but does look clean. read more

Entering the dank interior to get a "treat" of take out for the family., Cashew Chicken consisted of Birdseye Mixed vegetables (American with all the chemicals of "mixed vegetables"mostly corn, cut green beans, hard (near raw) peas) added celery & very few thinly sliced mushrooms & a couple cashews added. No onions or sauce/ broth. It was not a Chinese meal; it was an insult to the culture entirely. No option of soup. They just threw in one they decide on for you. No veggies in the Shrimp DINNER (as ordered) without any of the cream sauce it was suppose to come with. It wasn't an appetizer. For $16.95 You can get this in any Grocery store freezer section, Add 2-3 sautéed vegetables and be eating what cost over $50!. I used to like this place a lot. I went today, and it has clearly declined. The parking lot was virtually empty, telling me I'm not the only one who thinks so. There was only one other table filled when we went in. Service was friendly. Food was ok, but not fantastic. Egg rolls were really greasy. Biggest problem was the place was filthy. I didn't notice on the way in, but the entry way floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. Inside, the tables & Windows looked clean, but the floors, walls, ceiling, ceiling fans, vents were all so dirty, literally coated with dust. Once I looked up and noticed the filthy fans, walls, etc., I wondered what shape the kitchen was in. I know things have been tough during COVID, but regardless, cleanliness is a must for a restaurant. Sadly, I don't think I will be back. read more

A recent visit from a friend of the family who moved away from this community several years ago ended up with a trip back to this place that was a sentimental favorite of his. It has most certainly not gotten any better since the last time I went. The food was tasteless and unappetizing in appearance. The entire place seemed overdue for a cover to cover cleaning and sanitizing. The place reeked of old burnt cooking oil and the decor just looked faded and overdue to be cleaned, shined, mopped and dusted. Just not at all interested in going back. For this, I'll drive an hour away because this was the last straw for me. But, the bar staff are friendly people and they keep the beer nice and COLD. that's the high point of this place anymore. read more

Not impressed. Took my sister from Kansas and wife for lunch as we had heard that it is under new management and food was really good. Bland the food was really bland and needed more spices. The shrimp were ok but should've been cooked a tad longer as they seemed a little under cooked. The spring rolls were a joke...small with little filling. Service was timely but the bathroom lacked paper towels for drying hands. None of us were happy with the quality of the food and will be looking for someplace else to have Chinese food. Man this was such a let down. We NEVER eat out. So after reading a lot of good reviews and talking about it for an hour or so my heart just broke as I bit into the most tasteless greasy meal in my life. I'm not even kidding. Ordered spring rolls got greasy ass egg rolls. Ordered chicken rice noodles with no bean sprouts half the order was bean sprouts and the noodles where falling apart! The pork fried rice was mush as well as the white rice. The lo mein was a solid hunk of grease yet somehow dry at the same time. The grease on man it was crazy like if I would have powered through it out of sheer hunger I have no doubt I'd spend a few hours in the bathroom regretting it. The egg flour soup was a creamy white color? I was not brave enough to try it. But my husband said it was like broth with no salt. Damn, just to put this all into perspective my 13 year old son who will gladly live off of nasty ass gas station food that's about to get thrown away WOULD NOT EAT THIS FOOD! I'm more pissed about the fact that we dropped $60 and I still have to make dinner which ya know was what I needed a break from. Surprisingly good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a whole day of wine drinking all over town, one need some grease, carbs and more carbs without a long wait. This place was perfection. First: I've never seen friendlier people in a Chinese place before. Mind you: almost all the staffs are Caucasian/ non Chinese. But still, they were all oh so friendly, attentive and nice. I guess you can say this was an American Chinese. Whatever. I still liked it!! I had a few dishes here but my favorite was the noodles!! So tasty. *Singapore rice noodles. So fluffy, light and tasty! And huge portions. *Chicken in black bean sauce - I asked for extra spicy but the spice was a no show for this dish. It was still tasty. Not covered in so much sauce, had good veggies and chicken pieces. I liked it. * Hot and sour soup - this was a ok. A bowl is big enough to feed a family of five! *House fried rice : pretty good. Overall, it was a perfect place for after drinking munchies. I'm pretty sure drinking copious amount of wine helped made everything taste better. They also have the buffet options for $7.99! I prefer my food cook to order. But I'm a fan regardless. We all need that cheap, diner style Chinese food from time to time. Honestly haven't had good Chinese in forever the lady was super sweet even when we got concerned about the pricing being different from their actual menu. A lot of food and worth the price. This use to be our go to place for Chinese food, we'd drive all the way to WW, but not anymore. Ordered a 2A for 2 @$23... We got no soup, bbq porks sauce was mostly the spicy yellow sauce. Had to go get silverware from another table of dinners. Different server brought 2 mains then asked white or fried rice...? Should have been served the pork fried rice, as menu stated. We got grease white rice with scrambled egg in it. It was bad! The dishes came with NO serving spoons and had to go ask for a knife, was given a steak knife, omg. The main wrong A) they were not busy. B) Brought us a full charged bill, no credit for not getting our soup or pork fried rice. Time to find another place that wants our business. SMH read more

Very plain and mediocre Chinese food. The hot and sour soup wasn't much of either and lacked some classic touches like tofu but included some unusual items like peas. The pork fired rice was actually pinkish due to the excessive dye in the pork and/or the pork setting too long in the rice. Granted, BBQ pork does use a little red dye for color but not so much that it colors everything else. We arrived towards the end of the lunch buffet time but one look at the buffet showed we didn't miss anything with much of the food looking tired and badly wilted. The egg drop soup was also so-so, lacking both body and flavor of traditional soup. I ordered pineapple chicken with BBQ pork and fried rice. The chicken was breaded, not unusual for this dish but not all that good either, and covered with the most tasteless sauce. I dare anyone who tries that sauce to immediately go "Pineapple!". It was more like a sweet syrup that came from a can. No pineapple chunks, almonds, 5 spice etc. It was the retirement home version of pineapple chicken IMHO. Overall, surprisingly bland Chinese food though the wait staff was pretty good (which gets them a star). A much better Chinese restaurant, IMHO, is the China Buffet in the Safeway Plaza. read more

The lunch buffet is one of the best features of PE Asian Bistro. The buffet selection is small but all of the items are super worthwhile. I am especially fond that you can get as much BBQ pork as you want at the buffet. The price is surprising cheap for the quality. The Pineapple chicken has an awesome sauce that is sticky enough that it does not slide off the tempura too easily. We also have ordered delivery on several occasions and am frequently shocked how quickly they get out there. I would describe all of the food as pretty common american Chinese cuisine but of still high quality. But really knowing you can expect it to be Americanized Chinese food is good thing because it often just hits the spot. read more

Eh..... pretty bad. Neither of us finished out meals. And my fortune cookie had no fortune. The egg flower soup tasted like Chicken Noodle and the Egg Roll was horrendous. The Pineapple Chicken was good but tasted very similar to donuts... Then the Chicken Low Mein was the only thing worth mentioning. Mongolian Beef was gross! First time eating at this location (I no longer live in WW). Food was good (3 stars), but the service was outstanding (+1)... even with my picky, kind-of-crazy family. We ordered: cold BBQ pork (always a hit!), sweet and sour AND pineapple chicken (these folks can't get enough sugar), almond chicken, pork fried rice, and beef chow mein with pan fried noodles. The pineapple chicken is a WW standard found nowhere else - lightly breaded with the thick, tangy, honey-like sauce. The almond chicken was pretty good, though it was served with white gravy instead of brown. The beef veggie noodles was a nice complement to the mix. I skipped the sweet and sour chicken because I'm not a fan of the thin red sauce. Always happy with pork fried rice - especially when adding a spoonful of hot mustard! I have been there 4 times now, the most recent last night, October 6, 2019. The first 3 times we were there the service and food were exceptionally great. Last night it took half an hour to get an appetiser of 3 egg rolls, and another half an order to get Almond Fried Chicken and Crispy Szechuan Shrimp, all was cold and did not taste as good as normal. The egg rolls were served with ketchup and mustard instead of sweet and sour sauce. The service was terrible considering the restaurant was empty and at a little after 6:00 pm the stopped letting in customers because they were closed. No signage saying they were closing early, just turning away people coming in. I am hoping this was just an off night, if we go back again and leave so disappointed we will never go back. read more

We used to be very loyal customers, but within the last month the service has been atrocious. My mom ordered a large amount of food a few weeks ago and it took 1 1/2 hours to be delivered. When it got to the house it was cold and not edible. We guessed it had just been a bad night and had company over tonight, so we gave them another chance. They told us our food would be delivered between 45 minutes and 1 hour. We called at 1 hour and were told it was out for delivery. My mom told them the last time we ordered it was cold and we wouldn't pay for it if it was cold. They told us to please call them if it was cold and they would "work something out." (Not an acceptable answer with the risk of food poisoning.) At 1:45 we called and cancelled the order and they told us "it was on the way." My mom told them to not bother we had already made other plans. I ran out and got tacos and was back in 20 minutes. read more

I ordered delivery and received the wrong thing. They offered me a gift card for next time. I wanted the food I had ordered.
