CAUTION before you chose this company to do your project! He's really good at selling himself and great at demolition.Our first red flag should have been that on the day of signing our contract he upped the price by thousands. He showed up for demolition and then disappeared for four days. Our three week project took double the time even though we had the products we were using. Two thirds of the way through the project he informed us that we needed more tile because he calculated wrong so more money. He would show up for two hours and then be gone four hours or just not come back. He would say he would be here at 8:00 and not show up for hours and didn't bother to call us to tell us he would be delayed, we do have a life. The shower walls are not even and his clean up is non existing. After two showers we had brown streaks coming down the walls. We also heard from some of his subs that he doesn't treat them good either. I'm sure he's a nice guy but he doesn't know how to run a business. BUYER BEWARE! read more

We had Miguel and his team tile 2 outdoor patios and our master bath wall. He gave us a good quote and was very responsive in returning our calls. He had 2 teams working simultaneously, one in the bathroom and the other outside working on our patios. They both worked really cleanly and were very detailed in laying the tiles. The patio tiles we chose had a specific pattern and they were great even making sure the small 2" edge matched perfectly. They made sure to seal the grout and Miguel toured the finished product with me to make sure I didn't have any issues. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend! read more

This company was recommended to me by the contractor who said he had used them before. Miguel came out and gave me an estimate that fair and i gave him a deposit. They picked up the quartz slabs and that was it. Lmtc's but never returned my calls. Finally got hold and said would be there Friday did not show up . Called and he said ran late on job and would be there Monday-no show- by now several weeks have passed and i went ahead and did all the tile work around shower and tub still waiting for quartz tub surround and shower bench. Called some more with no result. Decided to go to workshop in Vista. Found abandoned and advised by other shops the place has been vacant for a month. Got hold of him and told me had new shop in san Marcos and he was ready to install tub and shower pieces. Now came the vanity counter tops. He came out and measured and created a template for the countertops and under mount sinks. Day of install was a fiasco-he measured wrong and had to cut into dry wall to try and make the pieces line up and the seam ioints were not even- a large gap along the back wall all the way around- under mount sinks not evenly spaced around opening-countertops not even along cabinet reveal goes from narrow to normal width. Unfortunately i will not get any satisfaction as this is a shoestring operation. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Our experience with Miguel was poor workmanship that cost us an additional $4,000+ to have a professional fix his work. We hired Miguel and his crew to fabricate and install our new countertops, he asked us for a cashiers check for the down payment and paid immediately. They picked up our 3 slabs, and we agreed on the fabrication and install date. Next he called us and told us to "come to his shop as soon as possible" we went immediately even though it was in the middle of our workday. Once we arrived at Miguel's shop he had no one there to help him move the slabs around so we could see the patterns in them. We sat around and waited 3 hours before he had help to show us our slabs, then we went over which slabs would be placed where. When the date came to install there were many delays and excuses, such as he was short handed, his guys got the flu, he got sick and so forth. From the very beginning we explained that our son was getting married and we needed the countertops in because we were hosting a post wedding bbq for 100 out of town guests who came into town for the wedding. He began the install 4 weeks later than we agreed and needless to say they weren't in when we hosted the bbq. Half way through the install I noticed he stacked one piece of our slab (natural stone) on top of another piece of stone - it created a shelf and it looked ridiculous and I did not like it nor did I give him permission to do it. He told me it was standard we argued we didn't want it - he didn't ask us if we wanted it stacked he just did it. We again had several arguments we asked him to remove it and he refused and kept saying "if I remove it its going to break and that's on you" this went on for 3 days and the slab wasn't removed. We showed Miguel's work to a General Contractor and two additional fabricators all three said "that work is poor workmanship because you can't replace your window it won't clear that second slab, in addition looking into the window from outside you see the raw slab edge." Miguel threatened to put a lien on our house, our next call was to our attorney, we fired Miguel and hired another fabricator, bought a new slab and paid for the removal of what Miguel installed incorrectly; they removed it within 10 minutes and didn't break it. Then we had the new slab fabricated and installed and it looks beautiful because it was done right but Miguel's poor workmanship cost us $4,000. Miguel did 50% good work and 50% terrible work - and he kept at least $1200 of our natural stone and refused to return it. This was our nightmare with Miguel and Pacific Coast Tile & Marble and now we will settle our additional expenses in court. read more

Have text message confirming appointment date and time and he just never came- I called and texted multiple times with no response whatsoever.
