First time eating at this Pacific Catch location. I've eaten at the other locations and love the fresh ingredients and carefully crafted menu. A nice outside patio area with heat lamps if needed. Otherwise, it's a nice relaxing meal outside. They also have a fairly large inside dining area with a full bar. Two separate multi-user restrooms behind the swinging saloon doors. The service waa good, helpful, and attentive. Mix Catch: 2 pc Alaska cod fish, 3 coconut shrimp, calamari, jalapeño tarter, chipotle aioli, Thai sweet chili sauce, sesame slaw (3.5/5). A good fry on each of the seafood. Grilled Salmon Sandwich: avocado, tomato, aioli, sesame bun, sesame slaw (4/5). Perfectly grilled salmon with fresh ingredients. Support your local business.

Teriyaki Bowl

If you want to go back and revisit your high school cafeteria lunch this is a good place to do it. We got the chicken teriyaki bowl and it was just awful. The broccoli and carrots were just steamed and too soft with no seasoning . The chicken was dry and served in big pieces that were difficult to cut in a bowl. There was what tasted like bottled teriyaki sauce dumped on the rice. We left almost all of it and paid $50 with the tip to do so. Yuk. We are definitely not going back.

I came on a busy Sunday afternoon and Kel, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming right from the start. I ended up sitting at the bar since the restaurant was pretty full and the service was quick and attentive the entire time. The food was excellent, and honestly this location is better than some of the other Pacific Catch locations I've visited. Definitely one of my favorites now, I'll be back

Wagyu Cheeseburger
Michael N.

My company had Pacific Catch available to order through Relish, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the wagyu cheeseburger along with the Mexican corn, and I was genuinely excited when my order arrived because I've heard good things about this place. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The wagyu cheeseburger arrived without any cheese, which was surprising considering it's supposed to be a cheeseburger. On top of that, the patty itself was extremely dry and lacked flavor. I ended up comparing it to a veggie burger I've had before, which honestly tasted much better and was far more satisfying. The Mexican corn was also a letdown. The portion size was incredibly small--smaller than a single scoop of mashed potatoes you'd get at KFC. For the price, it definitely didn't feel worth it, especially given the tiny serving and overall quality. Overall, this order didn't meet my expectations. Between the missing cheese, dry burger, and underwhelming portion sizes, I don't feel like I got good value for what I paid. I was hoping for much better, especially since I was really looking forward to trying Pacific Catch.

Came by for quick lunch and picked Pacific Catch primarily for the heated and cute dog-friendly outdoor patio. It's mostly covered, so it doesn't even feel like you're really outside (I love these kinds of outdoor settings!). We ordered a taco platter ($24.95), salmon bowl ($23.95), and a small salmon/brown rice combo ($7.95) off the dog menu for the pup. Tacos were okay. It came with a side of beans and fries - I opted for chili lime and there was a bit of a kick. I thought the salmon bowl was better than the tacos. Salmon was cooked well and the overall bowl was relatively healthy. The dog seemed to enjoy his meal as well, but only ate the fish and didn't even touch the carbs. They do tack on a 3% surcharge, and service was decent.

Ordered this through a 3rd party app for dinner at work and I was surprisingly pleased with this taco platter! TACO PLATTER 4/5: - spicy steak: includes a jalapeño slaw - fried cod - fried shrimp Everything was seasoned well and tasted great but my only complaint was that my food arrived cold. The order comes with a side option and I went with chips and salsa. I think I'll get fries next time just to try.

Korean BBQ | Steak, Ribs or Both

The environment is awesome here, with open window, natural breeze and bright natural light is a great, especially after a long hike, so it's wonderful for hanging out and chatting. While I was getting check and sign took more than 20 minutes after we asked, also the service person switched to another one, we got forgotten somehow. I guess maybe it Sunday afternoon. Obviously, service speed is below average. While for food, I don't like it that much, I ordered Korean BBQ | Steak; my friend ordered Chilean Sea Bass salad; and we were sharing Cabo Calamari. The steak tastes alright, but the Brussels sprouts are too oily and salty, ruined the steak taste, so in general I do not recommend. While Chilean Sea Bass salad looks pretty healthy, and my friend likes it, give it a try is not a bad idea. Cabo Calamari is pretty crunchy.

Stopped by for an early dinner and it was my second time at a Pacific Catch. Luckily this time it was great! Service was phenomenal, our server checked in on us several times. The food was absolutely delicious and we got huge portions for the price! Definitely will be coming back to this location.

If you go to my Yelp account, you will see I am obsessed with Pacific Catch. I have tried almost all their locations in the Bay Area. Palo Alto's food did not disappoint. I eat here so much I signed up for their rewards program, which is extremely generous, and got a free sushi roll this time around. The only reason this review is not a perfect 5/5 was the service. Unfortunately, we were sat in the bar area without being told, and the bartender was really busy and rarely checked on us. It also seemed like a bother that we used our rewards. Nonetheless, we loved the food. We started with the White Tiger Ceviche. This is priced pretty high for a starter, but it is definitely worth it. I did like it a little more at a different location, but this was still very good. They really know how to cook their fish here! I know it should be obvious with a name like Pacific Catch, but you would be surprised how many fish places do not know how to cook it. We got the Shrimp Tempura Roll. It was perfectly seasoned and delicious. I absolutely love their ceviche, so I went with the Poke & Ceviche Trio. But instead of two poke, I got two of the Baja Shrimp Ceviche and one Serrano Ahi Poke. Both are so delicious, but the sides do not disappoint. The wonton chips and dips are my favorite. My MIL went with their Mexican Grilled Shrimp Bowl. At first glance, she preferred my dish, but as soon as she dug in, she did not regret her decision. They cook the shrimp to perfection. I don't think we have ever had gummy shrimp at any location. She loved the cook on the rice and beans, which is crazy because it was brown rice. Everything tasted great together. Again, the only issue was being sat in the bar area and waiting super long for the bartender to check in on us. Not his fault he was sat, I guess, but they need to get him more help. All in all, I liked the location, and if we're in the area, we will come back.

See what is this?Judge it on your own. they're cooked is from different countries and they asked to cook food not theirs specialty.

It's expensive and food not good enough for the family and service is very poor! The servers are very over qualified I see they are older but they not that good on food service.... And the menu is very poor and not very good, expensive too!!!

This place is great, especially for happy hour! Their Mai Tai's are made with POG (passion, orange, guava juice) and are legit. As good if not better than ones I've had in HI. We ordered the following small bites and loved them all: Coconut shrimp Sticky ribs Fries Crispy Brussel sprouts Fried fish tacos Pitchers of Mai tai's We had so much fun and the staff was amazingly attentive and fun. The restaurant is beautiful. Lots of natural light. Not too loud. Highly recommend

This spot is nearby and always a solid option for fresh, reasonably priced food with a sit down option. The restaurant atmosphere is trendy, open air, light, and lovely for a casual lunch with a friend either indoors or outdoors. The service is good - nothing exceptional, but also not too slow. The food is always fresh. Portions are solid. Drinks are better than expected, including the blood orange sparkling lemonade that delivered all it promised. And the price is super reasonable for the portions, freshness, and overall quality of food at the Stanford shopping center.

Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Portion to Price: 2/5 Overall: Pretty standard fare. The extended review... Food: Salmon - 3/5 - Got a fish with some veggies and starch for dinner. Food was standard fare. Service: 3/5 - Standard service. Ambiance: 4/5 - A nice ambiance which is standard for this chain. Portion to Price: 2/5 - It's a wee bit in the pricy side for what you get.

Likely not the official outside patio - but they have lots of other tables outside where I'm sure you could have a dog.

I got 2 quesobirria tacos and 2 tacos al pastor, and visually everything looked on point -- the plating was clean, tacos looked well-stuffed, and the birria tortillas had that nice golden crisp. But once we started eating, we all felt the same thing: the salsas were lacking flavor. And with tacos like these, good salsa takes everything to the next level. Here, it kind of held them back. They only gave me two tiny lime pieces, and I couldn't even get enough juice out of them to brighten up the tacos. Something so simple, but it makes a huge difference. We also asked for chips and salsa (they're not free), and they never came. Honest mistake -- they were cool about it and took it off the bill -- but still, it added to the overall experience. Another thing: the nopales weren't well cooked or prepped. They had that slightly tough, raw texture instead of the tender, seasoned bite they should have. Flavor-wise, the pastor and birria were decent, but with weak salsa and barely any lime, it felt incomplete. All four of us agreed on the same thing: This place could be great if they tighten up their salsas and the little details. I'd give them another shot someday because the base is there -- they just need that extra punch of flavor to really elevate their tacos.

Pleasantly surprised by what we would find. My nephew asked if the beef tongue was good but they weren't understanding so we just ordered one. He also got a carne asada taco and I got a mulita. They have a sala bar with cucumbers/radish, pickled onion and salsas. I had to try them all. They call you when it's ready. The beef tongue looked very interesting so we were skeptical about it. But after trying it, we were pleasantly surprised and he enjoyed it the most of the 2 tacos he got. The multia was only grilled on 1 side and the other tortilla was just slapped on top. All the other places we go to they grill both sides. It did have a nice cheese layer on it though. Good but would have preferred both sides grilled. Salas were good as well. The food was still piping hot and the meat was amazing! You could really taste the smoke and that's what did it for me. The size of the burrito was huge and I couldn't finish it, shifting my focus on the tacos as those were better. There are a limited number of tables, mostly outside, which was fine since the weather was nice. I ordered two crispy tacos. I was disappointed by what felt like store bought shells. The fillings were okay. I also ordered a side of chips. They were bland, under salted, and tasted like they were from a bag of generic chips from a restaurant supply warehouse. The salsa bar was fine. I appreciated they had one. I didn't think the extra hot salsa was extra hot. However, i concede it may be relative to the area. I'm from SoCal and down there if it says "extra hot" you may want to take out fire insurance for your backside. Bottom line, will I be back? I'm guessing probably yes. The service was nice and quick.
