Food was pretty good but the waitress stood at the bar with other employees and never checked on me. Could not get a refill. Took forever to get the check. But the whole time 7 employees were standing at the bar talking to each other. It sucks for her. Because of COVID I have been tipping for good service over 100%. This will be a quick review hitting the highlights. We went around 12:30PM. Service was good. Place was clean. Food came out quickly. Food wasn't too expensive. Parking was ample. Ehh, it's fair. I would recommend NOT ordering the same thing as the person you are having lunch with. We both got lunch fajitas, the other person had tons of meat and very little vegetables and I had very little meat and tons of vegetables. Go figure. And they give you two baby sized soft shells. If the shells are that small, they could at least give you three or two little bit bigger ones. The salsa was pretty good but the chips were stale. Service was slow. Horrible service. Go down the street to Montereys, service is incredible and food is so much better. Crazy how they have half the tables open they usually do and can't even get you a drink after sitting for 20 mins. Stay away, trust me, you'll be in there for hours with service. Food and the service were good. The only problem I experience was the abundance of flies. Tables are packed in this place right up to the front door. The entrance could use another set of doors with positive air flow to keep the flies out. Not much worse than flies landing on your food. read more

This was our first and LAST time to this Mexican place..... Quite sad as there are so few restaurants in North Augusta. Service was friendly, but very slow. We waited 30 plus minutes for our food, had to go to the bar for refills, the bill was wrong and our extra sour cream portion was small, only 6 small tortillas for a fajita for 2 plate and 30 cents for additional( Say what?!?)Frustrated SIGH!!! We had takeout from Pablo's last night. The portions are huge and the food was excellent. Two of us had a large portion of nachos with chicken beans and cheese. We had leftovers for the next day. Terrible service! They have a wall of shame for those who don't produce honest checks. They need one for shameful servers. Three visits, each with worse service! Pricing for value inadequate. The quite Americanized chicken fajita had 6 very thin pieces of chicken the size of my small finger and 4 the size of half of my little finger, accompanied by loads of green peppers and onions. My estimate would be about 3-4 oz. of chicken total. Hardly worthwhile. There were 5 tables taken on this last visit. I saw one other female server and 3 male workers. Our waitress left and went to lunch at the restaurant next door. (We saw her returning as we were leaving.) She had left us waiting for more than 20 minutes for a check. The food is really good, when you get it. The Queso is usually very runny but it does taste good. Biggest complaint is the service and all the new people. My family and I have been here a few times. I ordered a soft grilled chicken taco with shredded cheese, but they gave me a taco with shredded chicken, (not grilled), and a melted white cheese sauce. The stuffed Anaheim pepper was gross. All it had was hamburger meat. I also got a chicken enchilada, which had no cheese. Just a tortilla, red sauce, and meat. The chips were good, the salsa was sweet, not hot, and the service was bad. We were ignored by the staff and were never asked if we wanted a soda refill or more chips. read more

I was so excited when a new restaurant opened close to my job. We only had fast food chains and that gets old quick. The first time I went to Pablo's I was grateful to see the more authentic Mexican dishes in their menu. It is still Tex Mex, but there are authentic Mexican dishes. The food is delicious each time and always fresh. The staff is very courteous. My favorite dish is the Pollo a la Mexicana. It comes with a spicy red sauce over it. If you don't like spicy, they can leave the jalapeños off. If you like cheese cake, I recommend the Zango for desert. They have daily lunch, dinner, and drink specials. read more

The first time, the wait was pretty long and the server forgot to bring back some items we asked for like fresh chips, drinks, etc. The food was good though, so we chopped it up to them being a new establishment. The second time, we ordered out and it was not what we expected. When our order was not what we hoped for, we returned to ask them to fix it. We received NO APOLOGY, and a bare minimum solution to the problem, with the "manager" stating "that's how we do things. My first time there. I thought the food was okay but over salted . The service was awful. Went my whole meal needing a napkin and water. I was served a six dollar drink in a plastic cup which was marketed as a Texas margarita and was obviously a mix I could buy at Walmart. I was one of only three tables in the place and not I once eafter my food was delivered was I checked on to see if I needed anything. I wanted to order sour cream to cut down salt and needed a napkin but I was totally ignored by the staff who were busy in the bar socializing. Very frustrating. I will stick to Teresa's where I always get excellent service. For the first time in my life I was tempted to leave no tip and even walk out without paying. I was seated immediately. They serve warm freshly made chips. And the salsa tasted fresh too, not too spicy. I had the lunch special, 1 taco, 1 beef enchilada, with rice and beans, and expected a small plate for less than $5. But it was a decent size. My server was polite and checked up on me frequently. The food came out quickly even though I came during a busy lunchtime rush. I would definitely come back so I can try more things on the menu. Speaking of the menu, it was clean. I sometimes feel disgusted touching other restaurants' menu because either they're gross, greasy, and straight up nasty). Eaten here twice. First time the service was horrible and the food was cold. Good, but cold. We decided to give it a second chance and placed a to go order. We got an order of cheese dip half the size served in the restaurant (same price, of course), and approximately 12-15 chips. Really? For 3 people to eat. This was my first, and will definitely be my last visit. Chips were stale and overly salted. My husband and I both ordered the same thing. It does not say on the menu that it comes with onions, but when we received our plates, our food was covered in grilled onions. Seriously more onions than anything else. He got his without guacamole salad, but I still got it. We got our food and then got absolutely no more service from our waiter. We flagged one down and he ignored our request for anything as if he didn't even hear us. He walked off in the middle of our request. So we flagged down a girl. My husband asked for queso and I asked for sour cream. She brought his and not mine. We didn't see anyone else until we got our bill. We had dined here before and it was fine. but the last time it was Bad. I had stopped for lunch and was strapped for time, I ordered a to go for my husband. I ordered the same thing I had for lunch. The rice was mush. We don't complain, I allways think about when I here of people complaining and they spit in your food so I just don't say anything. However when I served it to my husband it was not edible. He called to tell the manager and he was very hateful to my husband. Franklin tried to be nice to the man , but to get across to him how bad it was. no use. He refused to take any kind of responsibility, we offered to bring it to him. no go. he was no help at all. If you eat there don't do take out. If you make the mistake of eating there and putting up with the rude service, make sure you make them replace anything wrong right then and there.
