As I read through some of the other reviews, most were positive but some expressed sour grapes. I think there are some misaligned expectations as to what a staffing agency is. A staffing agency makes their money by supplying companies with workers either on a temporary are permanent basis. Unless you are paying a staffing agency a fee to find you employment, then the staffing agency's fiduciary responsibility is to the company that is paying them. You need to understand and accept this if you are going to work with a staffing agency. Here's how you benefit from the relationship... Staffing agencies can give you the opportunity/connection to network, learn, and build your resume with world-class business organizations that are extremely challenging to get your foot in the door. Once in though, it's up to YOU to prove yourself and work toward finding your dream job. You can't walk in and expect your dream job to be handed to you. Competition for good jobs in good markets is tough. You have to come at it by assessing the situation for fit, figuring out where YOU can add value in ways that align with your career objectives, get along with ALL the players (putting your ego in check), make a plan, STAY POSITIVE, and execute on it. Oh and by the way, all that work might NOT lead to a permanent job. Don't expect that, if you do you will fail at staying positive. However, know that all the work you are doing is being added to your resume. The way you are handling the situation is being noted by all those you are working with. They will remember you, refer you, and be a reference for you. If played right, over time you will land your dream job. TCG's role was they gave me the connection to make it happen, and supported me with training and advice on handling situations as they arose. That's it, that's all any staffing agency can realistically do for you. Here at the end of my experience with TCG, I can say they've actually EXCEEDED my expectations for a staffing agency. TCG offered me much more career building benefits than other staffing agencies. Benefits such as continued industry training, portfolio showings, attendance to top business industry conferences, team building and network events. This is the stuff that helps you develop your career path. Lastly, they've made my transition to full employment with Starbucks very, very easy. If you are looking to get networking opportunities or work experience added to your resume from renowned organizations and companies, TCG has the connections to make it happen.

Instead of apologizing, they tried to blame. This partime, they placed me with Process Technology. Two days in, I was messaging my recruiter begging to be placed somewhere else. This place was and still is a factory of nothing but OSHA, I ended up hurting my right shoulder and was denied medical. My recruiter kept saying they had no jobs, yet was sending me job notifications asking me if I knew anyone who was looking to be placed. I said, me. He ignored. I also had to hound them for weeks to fix my pay. I then had to text them to tell them I was being harassed at the job by a coworker because Process Technology was not doing anything. I have all those conversations recorded. I continued to ask for a different placement constantly. I was actively looking for a new job, but most places use temp agencies. I ended up hurting my right shoulder again doing the same job that I had begged to be put elsewhere. I was not allowed in HR because you are only allowed after work hours and have to clock out. I need to be somewhere at 3 every day. Express Professionals is responsible for paying for my treatments, but they are not filling the proper paperwork. I have asked thru numerous texts for the number to contact the insurance and my claim number. Express Professionals, or shall I say the owner is refusing to help me get the care I need. Not to mention, the owner has a photography studio and asked me if I had a senior daughter who needs her pictures done. Why ask for a specific sex? That is predatory. The doctor and PT that I see believe I have a tear in my rotary cuff, but they can't properly treat me until they get an MRI. But Jim, the site owner of the Mentor location, is not corporating.

I decided to e-mail someone further up the ladder and was told that this test can also tell when someone is lying. I guess this test didn't work on a couple of other guys in there that looked like tweekers. Most of my experience with this company was as an assistant to a job site coordinator in Arizona. Its function is an employment services that assists finding a job, getting a job, searching for a job, resume help, interview help, and locating workforce services in your area, as well as being affiliated with Washington State in providing unemployment insurance. Our country, and our state are in the middle of an economic upheaval, and many people have lost their jobs. Some of those people have been employed ever since they had entered the work force for the first time in their lives, and for many stay at home mom's, this is the first time in a long time since they had to seek employment for many years, and for many other people, looking for a job is an event they must endure every 2-3 years. For all people mentioned here, the ultimate goal is to gain employment, and that is where the Work Source Office comes into play. For myself I had been gainfully employed for 21 years. I have not had to undergo the rigors of applying for jobs, nor have I experienced a job interview in a very long time, as well as writing a resume. The resume I currently had was outdated, and no longer applied to my advanced skill sets; also, within those 21 years the process of applying for jobs had changed drastically. 21 years ago a person typed up a resume, and a cover sheet, and went to the employer seeking a job application. They would fill out the application, and leave mentioned application with the employer along with the resume, and cover sheet. In these most modern times this process is done over the internet. The Work Source Affiliate North Seattle Office provides very good classes on job interviewing techniques, as well as resumes writing. I attended several of these classes and found them to be quite enjoyable as well as informative. By following their suggestions I was able to in short order create a resume that accurately described my skill sets, and levels of expertise. It would have taken me much longer had I tried to do this alone, also the class on interviewing skills was also very informative, and as the class was in progress I could already see that during a few of my most recent interviews I had made many, common interview errors. The Work Source Affiliate North Seattle Office provides a lot of resources for job searches. They also provide computers, and printers because from what I understand many people do not have, or cannot afford internet access right now, or don't have access to computers in general. The computers and other resources are to be used for job related activities only, so don't expect to go there and treat the place like a coffee shop and sit around searching out your favorite websites. This sort of behavior is frowned upon, and you will be asked to leave. You can post your resume on Work Source's dedicated website for employers to view. All you have to do is setup an account, and then upload your resume. Thousands of human resource representatives search the Work Source's site for potential prospects everyday, so don't be surprised if within a matter of days you get an email from a company that is interested in you and your skill sets because of the resume you posted on Work Source's website. I give the Work Source Affiliate North Seattle Office 5 stars because of all that it provides. I haven't even scratched the surface of the many other services it provides in order to get people motivated, and developing the skills they need in the direction of securing employment, or getting the necessary retraining that is required in order to find that job they've always wanted.

I had an excellent experience with Kara and Katherine at Pepper's Personal Assistants. Having never used their service or a personal assistant before (I'm one of those people who do it all myself, must be the OCD), I didn't know what to expect. When the transport service informed me that their delivery date had changed to an earlier arrival in Seattle than when I would be there to accept delivery of my car, I had not choice but to take a risk and reach out for help. I am quite grateful and glad I did just that. I cannot say enough complimentary comments about my experience starting the minute Kara answered my call, to having to easily Paypal money to Katherine to pay the driver (who kept changing the location of the drop off up to the last minute) to returning home and finding my car in the front of my house. I am an Office Manager at a nationwide law firm and trust and dependability are key to my work ethic and let's face it, are difficult to find in today's service-oriented businesses. However, Pepper's Personal Assistants have secured my return business with them without any doubt! They've earned my trust and that of my firms.
