I stopped in to watch the Dodgers game. Also for their happy hour specials. I ordered the wings and sliders, both were really good, especially the sliders. The place is very clean, more modern sports bar aesthetic which I liked. This is more so a local neighborhood bar, pretty quiet which matches the surrounding environment. Lots of TVs! It's why I ended up here. I almost wanna say, too many TVs. Digital overload. It's like someone noticed empty space and decided to fill it with a TV. Guess that's your cue if you wanna head out somewhere to watch any games. First parking. There's a structure. PV does validate but if you're there for a while, you'll still end up paying double digits. I don't know much about parking on the residential streets. Me - lazy. I'd rather just pay than walk. Stopped here for a Rams Watch Party -- so much fun! Staff was very attentive and always checked in to see if we were good. Ordered the Buffalo cauliflower, turkey burger, wings and Chinese chicken salad -- everything was very good, and portions were a good size for sharing too. The location is part of the shopping area near the Cinemark with plenty of multi level garage parking -- no validation. The happy hour and cocktail menu are a nice addition to their regular menu with lots of veggie options. They also have a large size bar in the center of the restaurant. Sports bar in the heart of playa vista - the only one that shows World Cup games this summer. Went there exactly for that reason - World Cup viewing. Good and passionate crowd, but small space to accommodate need. Service is quite fast and courteous. Special drinks are offered especially during the World Cup. Tried quesadilla and nachos. Both reheated dishes and obviously last nights leftovers. Even the lettuce and salsa looked and tasted old. PV House has become a favorite spot for all of us at Apex across the street. Our company regularly books it out for big celebrations, milestones, and parties, and they always do an amazing job hosting us! During football season, a crew of us also heads over for Thursday Night Football, so it's definitely become a place we spend a lot of time! The sports lounge is awesome, tons of TVs, a great setup, and always a fun atmosphere for watching games. They also show all the football games on Sundays, so it's a great spot if you want to catch your team. We've gotten to know the owners really well through all of our work events and nights at PV House, and we absolutely love them. The entire staff is great and always takes care of us, but Jacob, Lee, and Chris especially have become some of our favorites. They always make us feel taken care of and are a huge part of why we keep coming back! The burger is absolutely to die for. Seriously SO good and easily one of my favorite things to order. PV House is also so much more than a sports bar. They host concerts and live music and do a lot for the neighborhood and community. Who said the wings were flavorful and 4 stars?? These wings are the absolute worse wings I've ever had. They took Cajun seasoning and sprinkled it over some overcooked dry chicken wings. I've visited this spot through several management changes, but I'm really rooting for P.V. House to stay. Everything from the flawless service to the menu is top-tier. If you miss those authentic New Orleans flavors as much as I do, the Voodoo Chicken Pasta is a must-try; it captures that NOLA spirit perfectly. I also highly recommend the White Lotus cocktail--it's surprisingly sweet for a whiskey drink and absolutely delicious. Playa Vista finally has the upscale sports lounge it deserves at P.V. House. I primarily came to PV HOUSE for the concert that was the local band VENICE . I really enjoy their music so I came here for the four days of Super Bowl. The employees are very cordial and helpful. The first thing I had a problem with was the fact that there's no prices on the drinks Menu! So whatever drinks you want, you have to ask the waiter if you care about how much it cost, which is something not a big fan of at all. PRICES should be on the menu. There was a bit of miscommunication with the waiter and I think he just has to pay a better attention to what the customers are saying. He was still a very nice person and he meant well. As far as the food goes, First, my wife and I shared a fish and chips. I really like the fries and the seasoning on them. The size of the pieces of fish were definitely on the small side, but they gave us four small pieces and we split it. I would have liked it if they were a little bit larger. Since we will still hungry we ordered the chili, the only chili they have is made with vegetarian meat. I definitely would have preferred beef (:. The bottom line is I really like the atmosphere and it was a good time. I definitely see some room for improvement on a few things. I will patronize them in the future when I'm in the area. I've been here for dinner and breakfast now. For dinner, I wasn't that hungry so I went with just an app of nachos. Dear God, these are probably meant for like four people it's such a giant portion. I was not prepared. It was good, but bring a friend for these. For breakfast, I am a simple girl and usually just want a two egg plate. Here they serve it in a scalding hot cast iron pan, with eggs, hash browns, crispy bacon and a side of toast. You can also get sausage, which is also good, but I went well done bacon (not pictured). Definitely the best sports bar in Playa Vista. Great tequila options (Lalo ftw!) and the chicken quesadilla is my go to, so good! However, the main owners act like they're elitist. They have their "owners table/section", huddle around together in different areas of the restaurant and look down upon others. Chris, specifically, should sit in the back room, watch his security camera or look at his spreadsheets because he should not be customer facing. A free concert and the musicians were as good as any band we've ever seen in LA. They even had Tom Scott sit in who arranged the Aja album and another. He told stories and it was really special night. Definitely the best Steely Dan revue band we have ever seen in LA or elsewhere. Fries are actually really good. - kids sliders: my daughter literally said this: "it tastes like butt" - fish and chips: really underwhelming. No flavor and 4 thin pieces. It literally looked like it came out of a bag. I won't ever order this again. - BLT: probably the star of the show, amazing sandwich, like Millcross Coffee. Great portion, crunch, smokey flavor, and tasty drizzle. Well worth trying. Other than that everything about this place screams mediocrity and out of place, like some small town sports bar in El Segundo playing in the big league on the Westside. We walked and in and were seated right away. We were asked where we wanted to sit and picked a booth near the bar. Our drinks and food came out pretty fast which we appreciated. We ordered wings and a ceasar salad. The portions were large. The wings came with the sauce on the side so you can choose how much to add and the veggies were shredded in the middle with a vinegar sauce like a mini salad. With the buffalo rub it was an unusually creative take on wings for a sports bar, and fits with the elevated sports bar theme. We liked that there were tvs everywhere with different games so there was always something to watch from each table. I went to catch a World Cup game with 2 other friends. Maybe it was an off-night but we couldn't disagree more about the food. It was awful. Mall food is better. We truly believe the pizza was from a box. The chinese chicken salad dressing tasted like motor oil. The veggie rice bowl was fine but the rice was mush. The buffalo cauliflower was just okay. It didn't taste bad but wasn't anything to write home about. I'm missing one more item but the food is pretty forgettable so it doesn't matter. Checked out P.V. House recently since it just opened in Playa. The space is nice, staff was friendly, and the TVs make it a solid spot for watching games. That said, the food was disappointing. We tried the nachos, wings, cauliflower wings, and poke. Unfortunately, the poke was slimy and had an off fishy taste- we ended up sending it back. The rest of the food was just okay. For the price point, I expected higher-quality ingredients across the board. It's brand new, so I'm hopeful they'll tighten things up over time. This is the best I've had and it would ruin all future kids pallettes if they expected this everytime. It came with ranch, ketchup and a hot sauce that was perfectly tart, not hot. - Voodoo pasta I expected to be spicy because it was a jerk description but not at all and sauce and pasta texture was what you always dream of. This is a place that should be awesome. Plenty of TV's and decent enough bar food for gameday. Unfortunately, the attitude of management and staff don't deliver. Most locals avoid it for one reason: it's not welcoming. The bartenders barely acknowledge you exist, and it has a clicque-y vibe that makes anyone feel like you are doing the owners a favor just by being there.
