I almost always get the pesto noodles: my favorite is with chicken, but with steak, or with a fried potato is good, too. Turns out we like the flavor of Incas. Service is always good, the place is usually 1/2 to 2/3 full. We like the decor, especially the gazebo in the parking lot as we pull up. I had the chance to try lomo saltado for the first time many years ago, and I instantly fell in love. Rico Sabor Peruano is not the top result when searched, but a professional Yelper like myself could tell that it was probably the best choice. Once I walked into the restaurant, I knew I made the right choice. Rico Sabor Peruano evokes East LA vibes. The interior was not great, and the employee didn't speak English. I knew I was about to have one of the greatest meals of my life. After stumbling through the order with my early intermediate Spanish (Duolingo-level Spanish with a thick Gringo accent), I excitedly waited for my meal. The food was cooked in a reasonable amount of time, and the employee even proactively brought a bottle of hot sauce. How did she know?
