We hadn't been here in a while. Sadly, last time we came for dinner with my parents and our 2 kids to celebrate a bday, about 8 months ago, it was not a good experience at all. Thankfully today was a completely different experience. We arrive pretty early for dinner so we got seated right away. We had Jake as our server. And the first thing I always have to do is warn them about my severe shellfish allergies. Second, I ask for lemon waters and the shellfish free menu. Jake was quick to inform me that a new one was being printed out immediately just for me. We place our drink order and the Manager herself came by to hand me the menu. She made sure I knew how it worked, if I had ordered from it before and I told her I had several times. She was very friendly as well. We placed our appetizer and food order and Jake was very accommodating in regards to all the crazy subs I had to make to my meal, so thanks for your patience. Living with allergies can feel like you can only order from a bubble sometimes, but he made it possible for me to enjoy my experience. Everything tasted great. Again, the service was absolutely amazing. He was truly what everyone wants from an attentive friendly server. My sweet and sour chicken was yummy and the spicy garlic noodles were perfectly cooked. We usually get food delivered first mistake. You really need to eat this food as soon as it comes out of the kitchen. It's usually hit or Miss to be honest. We tend to get the same dishes. It's usually several months at a time when we do order. Not sure if this will help. read more

Long time since my wife and I had been to PF Changs. We sat at the bar where there was only another couple. The bartender was pleasant and greeted us with a smile and promptly offered us menus. My wife ordered an espresso martini and I had the asian pear mojito and both were perfect! The mojito was bright, refreshing and amazing. We always start with the lettuce wraps and they were great as usual. It was a cold day so my wife wanted the cup of wonton soup to warm her up and the wontons tasted fresh and home made. We also enjoyed an order of spicy tuna sushi roll and crunchy honey shrimp. I've had better tuna rolls and probably wouldn't order them again but the crunchy honey shrimp was the star. We upgraded to the fried rice and it was delicious and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and crunchy. For $13.00 it was well worth every penny. Overall we both had a couple cocktails and a wonderful lunch for around $100. Don't know why we waited so long to come back. We had a great time. read more

Called to let them know how disappointed we were with the small portions we got for a $100 bill. Manager was argumentative and extremely unhelpful and continued to point out that they weigh all portions before sending them out. WTF? Do not support this business. I've been here to eat several times, it's decent food, not good or bad enough to leave a review for. Tonight I came in to pick up a takeout order and stood there while 2 girls at the counter walked back and forth with their backs towards me, readjusting things on the counter (things like pens, a jacket, anything to appear busy). There was also a woman with a headband and colorful braids who looked like a manager to me, who stood there and kept her head down looking at a screen the whole time I stood there. About 5 minutes later, a gentleman walks up and stands next to me-- the woman looks up from her screen, looks at me, then looks at the man and asks him how she can help him. She then walks away to seat him and dilly-dallied on the way back to finally help me. I have worked in food service for years in every position you can think of and that has never been acceptable. You don't ignore customers, whether you can help them at that moment or not, an "I'll be right with you" or even a "" with a smile has never hurt! Customer service is half of what you pay for, and it's just not worth the irritation to get subpar food. read more

Another win for P.F. Chang's. First visit to this location and staff were super friendly and attentive. Decor was modern with hints of Chinese decor. Food was superb and we ordered the usual appetizers of crispy greens, pork egg rolls and chicken egg rolls. The main courses consisted of sweet and sour chicken, lo mein pork noodles, chicken fried rice and my fav Beef and Broccoli. To finish up with deep fried egg roll bananas with ice cream. Was disappointed right away when I looked at the new menu and saw how pared down it is now. I mean pork fried rice is gone. Thought that was kind of a staple. I ordered just the fried rice. No green part of the onions and egg was hard to find. Ow color to it looked very unappetizing. Green beans were very greasy and stuck all together. My husband did like his teriyaki. First time at this location- hostess was not very friendly and was actually annoyed with my friend and I because we wanted to sit away from people due to Covid. A friend was in town and took the family out to dinner. Lettuce wraps, Egg drop soup, Pepper steak, Kung Pao chicken were some of the dishes we had. The reason for the two star rating was the overall service. After waiting 45 minutes for a table and calling ahead we were finally seated. The waitress wanted to serve drinks one person at a time, even though we all ordered at the same time. After ordering lettuce wraps for an appetizer; it took another 45 minutes for the main dishes to be served, and the waitress was not around to even give us an update, but seem to disappear completely - where I finally grabbed another waiter and asked to speak to our waitress. We were passing through Goodyear and met some friends for lunch. The restaurant was following all the current Covid guidelines. They seemed to be working on the interior as you could see several areas where walls were half painted. Otherwise, the restaurant was neat and clean. The service was prompt, professional, and friendly. The reason for two stars was the average tasting food. It was Panda Express quality. I ordered the sesame chicken which was very tasty and had large portions of veggies. However, my wife ordered honey chicken which had too much breading and no other ingredients except for rice. 1st time here we had lettuce wrap, fryed dumpings, wonton soup, and fried rice the food was ok. But they just would not be on the top of my list for chinese... Its all about the little things that caused me to give only a 2 star rating We ask the hostess not to be seated around young children and after she rolled her eye, she looked into the dining room and i believe she purposely sat us right next to a table with 3 very young children ( they had a child standing on the bench seat and jumping not one adult at that table said a word to this childs about the poor behavior) and just didnt ask to be moved so i didnt upset my wife.... If it was up to me i would have walked out. It was about 330pm and there were plenty of open seats to have accommodated my request!!! One of the other little things was that my soy sauce container on the table was empty. I got up and grabbed the container from the empty table next to only to find it was empty also. When you go to a premium restaurant and pay gratuities it for service not just because you get paid subminium wage..... So i point my finger at not just the waiter but for management not looking for the little things. Another thing is being told to scan QR for the menu. I spend to much time on my phone all ready each day and when i go out with family its a put down your phone time. Which leads me to my other issue is the pricing on the printed menu was not the same as what came on the bill. None of the items where correctly billed. I could go on about some other details, but i will spare you. As a successfully self employed person i have learned that i have to pay attention to the details...... Our waiter was Chandler, and he was very pleasant, and freindly. I would say he was probably on the new side as he did not know what was in one of our dishes, and i thought he was a little on the side of not being attentive enough. I got some PF Chang's gift cards from work and decided to come with my kids. The wait actually was not that bad maybe 20 minutes. We were seated in a nice booth. The calamari and vegetables was good though I gotta admit I just ate the calamari wish they had that on its own. Now my youngest wanted the kids chicken and I knew I should have gotten him the lo neon cuz he did not like the chicken. I got their shrimp tempura roll and the Chang wrap. Unfortunately I had a good lunch cuz all I ate is the shrimp tempura roll. My eldest got the spicy miso ramen and I had a taste of it and it was decent. One of the best restaurants I've been to recently. We sat at the bar and got in around 1:00PM. Madeline was taking care of us and she was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and was on top of everything. We ordered the pork dumplings but got them fried and they were so good especially with the sauce that they are served with. I highly recommend ordering them this way. We got the Lovers Cosmo to drink which I guess is a limited edition Taylor swift drink that came with some pink heart glasses. Was a fun and tasty drink. I got a Chang's chicken lunch bowl with noodles and I loved it. The manager came by and checked on us and he was just such a wonderful person. Made us feel appreciated that we were truly valued as guests here. Joe the manager and Madeline the bartender are perfect examples of what service in restaurants should be! Where do I start!?! Well first off, the server we had was new but by no means does that matter! She was very nice and helpful, when it came to ordering she answered all of our questions and was quick even though she did have other tables to serve. We ordered for drink one alcoholic beverage and a hot tea which was in season and the strawberry lemonade, all of which were delicious! Our appetizers were calamari and edamame which also didn't disappoint! As for our entrees we had Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai, Kung Pow Shrimp, and Orange Chicken which also were very flavorful and had our bellies as full as can be! We also did order dessert to go which was the cheesecake and 6 Layer Chocolate Cake W/ Berries btw also deliciously sweet! It was delicious! We didn't order a lot, just our meals off the lunch menu. She got the Spicy Crispy Chicken bowl with brown rice. She said she wasn't hungry when we walked in and just wanted a light lunch. Well, she ate every last bite of her bowl. She looked at me and said, I guess I was hungrier than I thought...and, it was sooo good I couldn't stop eating it...LOL!! I ordered the Mongolian Beef bowl with brown rice. Now, I love their Mongolian Beef, so was very excited about getting it. I was definitely not disappointed. The meat was sweet and tender, with a little crispiness around the edges...yummy!! I went to the PF Chang's in Goodyear over the weekend. I had been craving Asian food and a hot tea after being out in the wet and rainy weather. We had ordered a pot of tea with our waiter, the Dragon Eye Oolong. We were actually served two separate pots, which was actually a surprise to us. Had we realized the pots would be separate we would have ordered two different types. The tea was incredibly weak and didn't have any really distinct flavor, it was bagged and a disappointment. The tea was cold by my standards, and that's saying a lot because I tend to drink tea at a cooler temperature than most (the tea was cooler than lukewarm). Save the $3.50 per pot and go to Starbucks for a WAY better cup that is hot and only $2.45. We shared an appetizer of the Crispy Green Beans, which were incredibly greasy and oily. I ended up tearing off most of the batter on the beans to reduce some of the fat. I think the oil must have been too cold for frying the appetizer, causing so much grease. We shared the Walnut Shrimp with Melon and the Sesame Chicken. We ordered white and brown rice with the mains. The Walnut Shrimp was ok, but I've had better before - at least the dish was hot. The Sesame Chicken was not very warm and was lacking in many ways. There wasn't much of a sesame flavor; the most pronounced flavor was excessive salt, like too much soy sauce or teriyaki. There was a good amount of vegetable, but not chicken; I would be surprised if it contained 2oz total for a nearly $15 price tag. The chicken was pounded incredibly thin, coated and fried so much that it tasted more like pork rinds than actual chicken. The white rice was fine, but again not the best I have had. The brown rice simply put was disgusting. The brown rice was mushy and overcooked and resembled something closer to oatmeal. The portions of rice were small, about a cup of each. The waiter did not come back until we were done the meal, or I would have asked for more white rice. We had the rest of our meal without rice, because the brown rice was just inedible! Barely any fried rice, and damn near no chicken. It looked line someone was hungry and ate half of it. The food portions may not have been what they used to do. Scottsdale's PF chang portions are larger by far, but it was delicious. The ambiance and lighting was perfect. I had a delightful lunch with my young kids! The GM is as a pro, helping out on tables as they were short staffed (isn't everyone?). GM knew everything.
