Definitely not one of my favorite Chinese food spots. I'd rather go to Panda Express or support a local biz. Panda is just fast food. I've bought the frozen PF Chang's beef and broccoli at Sam's and it actually tastes alright for the fraction of the cost! I just add more veggies and make some rice to go along with it. I've always thought the food from here tastes like it's from a bag, anyway. The quality and freshness have never really been there for me. It's also pretty expensive, especially if you go for dinner. My bf's family loves it. We would only go whenever they invited us. Prior to Covid, his niece celebrated her birthday here two or three times. On one occasion, I told my bf to go without me. I wasn't in the mood for the food. Plus, I was feeling sick. He asked me if I wanted anything from there and I kindly declined. About the only thing that's good for me from here is their Great Wall of China chocolate cake! Yum! I am a sucker for it but that's about it. Other than that, I don't get what all of the hype is about for this place. If only they'd bring back one of my local favorites, Chopsticks! It used to be located inside of Cielo Vista Mall. Well I was pretty stoked to have PF Chang's when I came to El Paso since it's one of my favorite places to eat. But the food was definitely not like it used to be pre Covid. We ordered the Orange chicken which used to be called orange peel chicken was not prepared the same. Sesame chicken was ok but dry. The chicken fried rice had dried out chicken. The spicy chili green beans were not spicy or good. We got 2 beverages. First was the Rising Dragon which was heavy handed on the liquor and it just didn't taste right. The Organic Agave Margarita which had a sweet and sour mix that didn't taste right. If u get a drink, get the Asian Pear Mojito, this one was made right. read more

A decent showing for a chain restaurant, El Paso's P.F. Chang's doesn't bring anything particularly new to the table; still, it has a nice enough (if noisy) atmosphere and good service. I went with a group of others, and we all received our meal within half an hour, which wasn't bad considering it was the weekend and we'd arrived in the middle of dinner rush. I got the Ma Po Tofu, and could pretty much feel my sodium levels rising exponentially with each bite. It tasted fairly good, though I wish the tofu had been crispy rather than somewhat spongy in texture. For dessert, we ordered The Great Wall of Chocolate and the NY-style Cheesecake. I consider myself a chocoholic, but though the chocolate cake was indeed very chocolatey, it was also very dry, and therefore, difficult to get down. As a counterpoint, the cheesecake was nice and creamy, though the crust was a little too crumbly in nature. All-in-all, the dining experience is pretty much what you expect from a large-scale franchise; it wasn't a bad experience by any means, but it wasn't a fantastic one either. read more

I have not eaten at a PF in about a year so I was expecting the great amazing food as I have always gotten there. People there has been a change!!!! Holy cow!!!! Terrible quality! Not the chef but the food itself. Not sure where they are purchasing their food from but trust me when I say it is not the same. You might as well go to a fast food chain or the China Buffet! Yeah its a chain, but when running around it the Sunland Park area when the Greenery is crazy full, this place at least offers you options of food and the chance to be healthy..if you really do want to be. The food is nothing spectacular, but it is as a rule well prepped and more than edible. I particularly have always liked the fact that even when you order dishes steamed, they are still reasonably flavorful and well cooked. On a very recent trip waiter goofed up the order, was apologetic and put the correct order in (he put in chicken instead of shrimp) but one would expect that order to be expedited...but no. It was almost like we had walked in and ordered at that moment rather than 20 minutes ago. Ordered the chocolate wonton which sounds great and of course the pictures on yelp make one think about the crispy shell, gooey chocolate complemented by fresh raspberries. Yah, no. The wontons were undercooked, soggy, no raspberries and complaining to the waiter meant nothing. That tells me that the franchise owner obviously does not give a hoot about any issues. They get 3 stars because even though we had a ridiculous experience the last time, they generally are a-ok. read more

My wife and I have been going to PF Changs for Happy Hour since Day 1 of the two years we have lived in El Paso. Obviously, we like it. One reason why we like it is every time we have walked into PF Changs and sat at the bar, if it is happy hour, they always tell us what specials there are. If a restaurant's personnel doesn't tell their clients about the specials of the day, especially if it's happy hour, then they are doing a disservice to the diners and the restaurant. This has happened recently to us at Stonewood and at Ode. Back to PF Chang's. The lettuce wraps are deservedly legendary. They are one of about a dozen $6 small plates offered at HH. The wine offered for $6 a good pour are better than average house wines. Chris, the bartender who has been on duty at least our past three trips, does a great job, very professional, friendly, and efficient. The chicken satays and wontons are both very good. There are a number of specialty $6 drinks, the Asian Pear Mojito is very good. It's not a sports bar, but there are a couple of TV's tuned to whatever games are on, something that is important to us. I could easily give Chang's 5 stars, I guess I wish there was just a little larger HH menu. read more

We just moved to El Paso and had dined here twice in two weeks. The staff was very mice, the food is amazing. We had the kun pao chicken with the PF Chang combination fried rice, yummy! My daughters tried the beef and broccoli and they loved it! We tried the PF Chang ribs as an appetizer and they were good but could be a meal instead, to much for an appetizer. Asian food for people who don't like Asian food. I got the fried rice, it was OK. Husband ordered the Korean beef BBQ, which he said tasted just like if he'd gotten it at Pei Wei - not like actual Korean BBQ. The service was very good. Friendly and quick. Wonton soup and salmon roll were decent. We haven't found a great Chinese place in El Paso yet (and really don't expect to) but for other kinds of Asian food we are all set. There are good places in this city to get Sushi, fried rice and pad Thai. All are smaller and cheaper. I'll stick to pho tre bien next time I want Asian food. read more

The last time I ate here the service was incredibly slow. The food is hit or miss. Basically, if they are busy, service will be slow and food will be average. If they aren't busy, food and service are amazing. Recently prices have jumped 2-3 dollars per entree. Portion sizes have seemed to go down. Oh well. Wow how the mighty have fallen. This used to be one of our favorite "chain" Chinese restaurants to go to but now I am sure this was it. First, they took off the menu sweet and sour pork. What Chinese place does that? Second, the portions are minuscule- see photos below. Third, the packaging is now plastic bags and plastic silverware and no napkins. As far as the food it is blah. For starters when we walked in we were sitting without service for SO long that the manager took notice and walked up to us and saw that we didn't have drinks and hadn't been attended (mind you it wasn't even packed) and even though she apologized and had someone bring us drinks after that it still took about 20 for someone else to come back and actually take our order (we waited a total of about 1 hr.) , a few of things came out wrong and besides the horrific service to top it off the food simply wasn't any good. Wasn't worth the visit or the money spent at all whatsoever!! I'm not one to complain just being honest. Had heard awesome things about this place and when I read the reviews, I was sold. I'm not one to frequent chains but Asian cuisine sounded great. I was seated promptly and that was the end of my good review. It wasn't busy as it was early. There was a large party on the other side of the partition and scattered smaller groups. The wait staff were very attentive to the patrons and staff the bar. I NEVER had my drink order even taken! Three wait staff walked by, made eye contact with me and smiled. No one stopped. I waited patiently for over 15 minutes. I did notify the awesome hostesses that I was leaving and why. They did try to get me to wait and go back to wait for the person assigned to my area. I didn't, obviously. Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience. I WILL try them again. read more

If you been to Pf Changs before, you know what to expect when it comes to food, its good, I wouldn't say its one of my favorites but it is really good. It is true, this is a location that is always a bit crowded so its better if you call in advanced for a reservation. For the same reason the service its not the fastest but they're really nice, they would give a refill without you needing to ask for it, but not as often as in other locations. Overall my experience was really good but I'll have to take away one 1 star for the speed, but it has nothing to do with the excellent service I recived. read more

I'm always a fan of PF Chang. The food is always amazing, and I know that where ever I am, if there's a PF Chang, I can be fed. Unfortunately, I had to take a star away for the service here. The server we had was amazing, and patient with all 6 of us. However, the girl who brought out our food was rude. When our food came, they had mixed up the amounts of brown and white rice that we had ordered. We wanted a lot of brown rice, and one serving of white rice. Someone mentioned it to the girl who brought our food, and she brought us another small bowl of brown rice. We decided not to push it, and I was resigned to eating white rice. When the girl who took our order came out, she saw the mistake, and asked the other girl to fix it, and she rolled her eyes at us, and huffed and puffed as she took the rice to fix it. WHen she brought back the correct order, she just threw it on the table, and walked away mumbling something. I was not impressed with her behavior. read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this particular PF CHANGS. I am from California and my mom wanted to take me out for a special lunch on our way to the Airport. We came to PF Changs, sat at a table in the bar, had amazing food, we shared the eggplant dish and the honey shrimp and I had a delicious bloody mary. Our bartender was fabulous, fast , friendly and super effecient. When it came time to pay, my mom realized she had forgotten her wallet. I immediately started freaking out. I didnt have any money with me..... So we are freaking out trying to figure out how to pay and the manager Joey was informed of the situation. Instead of letting my mom write a check ( which I had told her they wouldnt accept anyways ) Joey comp'd the entire meal and wished us a Merry Christmas. I am not sure if this type of customer service is customary but I am sure if I had been back in Sacramento the manager of where ever would not have been so amazing, kind or understanding. This location is beautiful inside and out. The service was above and beyond. What a magical and amazingly kind thing to do for us. Thank You Joey. Everything was amazing at this famous restaurant. The "Chang's Spicy Chicken" was very good and tasty, wish I could have more. The peppered steak was spicy and good, I enjoyed it. I always enjoy PF Chang's. This location was up to their standards. Dined there on 2 occasions last week and both times were enjoyable. I had the seared Ahi Tuna appetizer and the Chilean Sea Bass for my entree. Both had good flavor and I got them both times. I dined in the bar and the servers were very attentive and competent. It was kind of busy when I went. Really no complaints about the service, but the food felt like it was missing something (still good though). The decor is nice and was the perfect ambiance for the Moscato I was craving! Major thing was the mapo tofu I ordered was so saucy that next time, I'll have to request it easy sauce or on the side. I want to give it 4 stars but I can't do it. The food was good, the service was good. But it just isn't right. Most everything is wrong. It's not Chinese food, well most of it isn't. Look at the menu. It's not Chinese! Some items are but 75% isn't. The Mai Tai, isn't a Mai Tai. We have drunk a lot of them and this is not a Mai Tai. The Ahi Poke Bowl is not an Ahi Poke Bowl. It's an Ahi Ceviche. There was no rice, no seaweed, and it was served with chips. Plus there was an acid component added to it, like maybe a lime juice. So it's a ceviche. Our tempura was clumped together, as if somebody dumped it in the fryer and didn't bother to separate the pieces once in there. Then it's served with the wrong dipping sauce, not a tempura dip, some creamy orange stuff that looked like you get with a blooming onion. The lettuce wrap was ok, but iceberg lettuce? Come on. Try a butter lettuce, better for wraps. The chicken stuff that you put in the wrap was good. All in all, it was ok, not bad, but not great either. But we were both laughing at how it definitely wasn't Chinese. read more
