Who ever is making the pizza does a great job, crust is perfect just the right amount of sauce

We go here often. Is one of our favorites normally, but today was an exception. For lunch I ordered Coleslaw as one of my sides and I'm guessing it was leftover from the weekend as it tasted old, limp and stale. The Onion Rings were waaay too oily and burned not their normal fresh crisp crunch. My Flatbread pizza was fine and the wife and two kids said their salad, pizza and sandwiches were all fine, but the kids said the fries were stale and more oily than usual. Something was just off today like maybe a rookie cook slipped in the back door. Service was ok, but it seemed like they were short handed even for what appeared to be a slow Monday at least in the restaurant section. Normally they are a solid 4-5. Management is rude. Clearly they think they can do no wrong. Small town for ya. Food is sub par, and is never made the same way twice. Servers yell at you if you seat yourself but there's almost NEVER a hostess to seat you. And WHO CARES--if a server notices there's new people in their section, THEY SHOULD GREET THEM. It's called customer service, which clearly most of their staff lack. I came expecting a cool brewpub environment. Maybe I should have done more research. I did not expect a loud, intrusive environment. I don't think it was the fault of our server, but the food was brought out in a mixed up condition. It took 3 tries and at least 15 minutes to get our order correct. The food was edible. Went here on Valentine's Day and left with food poisoning. Both my stepson and I left after dinner came home to wake up vomiting in the early morning hours. Watch out for the salmon dish, wasn't worth the price due to the taste and presentation to kick your gut many hours later. read more

There is so much good and bad about this place. Let's start with the good. The ahi nachos and other appetizers our group had were delicious and well presented. Very impressive. The beer selection is great and the mixed drinks are good. The wine selection is ... meh. It would be awesome if they carried some local wines. Now for the bad. The place is a beautiful huge warehouse that is really loud. The music selection is all over the place. The worst thing though is the "wood fired" pizza. If you know anything at all about this type of pizza, this is definitely not it. First, the crust looks like it is processed and premade and flattened like a cardboard pizza box, and it tastes about the same. The sauce is AWFUL. It tastes like a bland pasta sauce. It was so bad that we didn't even have it for leftovers the next day but chucked it instead. Service is a mixed bag. The servers and hosts are young ppl, which is great, but sometimes they get caught up in young people things, and forget that they are there to take care of guests. Well this place is really cool and looks fun so I brought my grandson here to have breakfast and play some games after but about an hour and a half later we decided that it was to long of a wait and since it was now lunch time and Ichiban sushi was now open so we left. Forty-five minutes for a table on a Monday. That's fine, we were a big table, but the table for 10 was way too small. You have to order a beer at the table if you're going to eat, or according to the server, the bartender will get mad, but they don't have a beer menu at the table. Also, the server couldn't tell us; he told us to look at a menu in fount of the bar. We had to send a drink back ( they were not consistently the same), and they were made-up mixes and not drinks. They completely forgot my young son's food until everybody was done eating. I had to give him my salad. He was so hungry it caused him to get emotional. We would have told the server, but he didn't check in, and I couldn't find him. I took a cup in for water I carry everywhere I go. The girl in the fount said you couldn't have outside drinks. When I walked in, I chugged the water and showed her it was empty. She acknowledged that it was empty, and she gave me a nod. After dinner, after everything, I was at the table with only one out of the ten people I was with. The manager came over and didn't introduce himself; he had nothing, no manners. He immediately started a scolding lecture about having an outside cup for too long. Enough for me to feel like I was a child in trouble. I kept saying okay, I am sorry, and he just kept going on. I am sorry, but having one empty cup in your establishment will not make you lose your liquor license. Overall It is a great concept, but I just don't wanna go back again. They simply don't have their stuff together, and the assault by the manager made. Prompted me to wait out in the cold for my party so I wouldn't have to be in the same building. He rubbed me that wrong. I will add I almost never write reviews, but it was so uncomfortable I had to comment so other people don't leave feeling Like I did. Food was not great and service needs improvement. Had to ask for refills, server didn't ask how anything was and clearly saw we barely ate anything. We ordered several different types of pasta with chicken and none of us could eat the chicken, it was rubber. Game center was great for the kids. Recommend enhancing taste with their food. read more

Fantastic new place for good local breakfast, lunch or dinner!! Went recently for breakfast-- and they had a nice array of breakfast items to choose from. Tried lunch items on a different visit, traditional pub food, but good portions and delicious. We find they consistently offer tasty, generous portions, super friendly service, fair prices, we're amazed more folks haven't discovered this place!! It's a spacious (in a good way) interior, with lots of seating, multi TV screens everywhere AND a huge arcade/pool table/bowling alley to entertain folks of all ages. One of only a couple of breweries in Tehachapi, they have a huge assortment of beer and have a visible brewery close to their bar that is making their own signature brews. Recommend this place as a go to for people of all ages, including families. It's only about a mile or two off the freeway at Tucker and is definitely worth the short drive. Ample, easy parking even for big vehicles/RVs. Give this fantastic place a try! read more

Decided we wanted to get out of the house so came up here. Glad we did as the food was really good. I had the swiss ortega tip and Bobbie got the tip dip. I got onion rings with mine and her fries. The sandwiches were great with thin sliced tri tip mine with swiss cheese and ortega chili's. We both had au jus with them. My onion rings were cooked perfectly with a clean bite through and good crisp. Her fries were cooked to perfection, nice and crispy on the outside with soft interior. We decided, with our band, to go here on a Wed. night for a drink and dinner. First time for us but heard it was really good, LIAR! It was WONDERFUL ! We were all in a good hungry mood. Drinks? Of course! I had a Moscow Mule made with tangerine vodka, yum!!! Right brain (keyboard); had a Corona, sound girl had wine, bass-man had a Greyhound. Lead guitar had an Arnold Palmer. We were all happy, especially me, loved my Mule! Perfect! Our server was new and help was right there, ended up with two servers and the bargirl. We were special, or at least felt that way. Excellent service! Fun people! Dinner? Right brain had the Ribeye with tater tots and asparagus, cooked perfect, tender and full of flavor. I had the fried chicken with their outrageous mac n cheese. Three types on the menu, spicy ( and I mean spicy!), stinky which I ordered (gorgonzola, blue, parmesan, cheddar mix with bacon and a Panko crust, Wow!) and regular, all huge, all excellent. Sound girl the salmon, she was happy as a fish in water! Cooked the way it ought to be, happy girl! Lead guitar had a burger and rolled his eyes throughout. Bass had the spicy mac and brought some home. The menu has a great mix of everything from appetizers to creme brule. I have been there 2 times. 1st time was a few months ago. Food wasn't great and beer was why I was there. 2nd time intending to eat... pizza burnt on half of it and was mediocre at best... ordered nachos to share... a joke. Burnt on 1 side and the cheese wasn't even melted yet (chedder).. top only had stuff on it and 3 layers deep nothing. Beer was OK. They pretty much only have premium beer and they were good. Food is meh at best. Caesar Salas was iceberg lettuce with dressing on the side. I got the pulled pork entre. The asparagus tasted like lighter fluid and the pulled pork was just above room temperature. BBQ sauce, I asked for it on the side, was bland. The place looks like a VFW ready for bingo. We've been here several times and love it. The mango beer is the bomb so it goes well with anything you order. They do give military discount but only 10% off 1 item which is very strange lmao but it is what it is . Right now they have nice outdoor seating. And your eating outside so yes there's flies. We have eaten at P-Dubs a few times and the food is mediocre. Tonight we ordered a bunch of appetizers to go and I sent my husband to pick them up. When my husband got home I was very disappointed by the amount we were given in the spinach and artichoke dip and when we called to ask about the scant amount we were told "it's not supposed to fill the cup" by Shila who spoke to the manager on duty. Apparently it's the same amount we would get if we were to order in the store, which we have almost ever time we have eaten there. As you can see this is not even close to half way up the cup.
