We ordered Shrimp Corn Dogs, which was one of the most unique and delicious appetizers ever. It was brought out on a block of wood with the six Shrimp Corn Dogs in the six holes in the wood (Think Cake Pops). Great Presentation! The Yellow Jacket Shrimp was bursting with flavor. Will def order both again upon our next visit. For our entree, we had the Belle River Gulf Fish. It came out with delicious green beans, cooked to perfection. The fish was amazingly seasoned and the crawfish cream sauce was crazy good. Then down underneath it all was the Crawfish Spoon Bread. Can I say, it was the most unique and delicious addition to a dish we have ever had! Then the being complimentary Cotton Candy! Not a fan but a nice touch and others in our party liked it. From outside this place don't look like much a typical bar and grill. I sat at the bar and started with the loaded tater tots. It had a great smoke ketchup that made this memorable but still just average tater tots. Then ordered the fish with a crawfish spoon bread and green beans. The music was a bit too loud. Right at my limit. Not sure why restaurants think I want to eat at a dance club. They said they couldn't turn it down. It got even more weird when they had a bit of live music, but still couldn't turn the music off for the restaurant, so you had now two music tracks playing. The food took a long time to come out. I wanted to lead with all this to tell you that, despite the problems, the food was absolutely delicious. And I suspect most people wouldn't mind the problems as much as I did. The staff was friendly. I got the boudin biscuit and a side of fries. It's probably good I don't live nearby. Highly recommended, especially if you're one of those folks that don't mind somewhat loud music. It wasn't blasting, but I just like peace and quiet more than most I guess. read more

It's been awhile since I've been here so I thought I'll give there brunch a try. Not really a brunch spot for not much to choose from. It's nice in the outside and outside sitting is a nice area. First they start you off with a small bowl of pork rinds, which I couldn't stop eating, then I couldn't decide between the boudin balls or debris fries for an appetizer. Boudin balls aren't the best I've ever had but good nonetheless. My waitress recommended I got the huge burger over the shrimp Poboy and I was not disappointed at all. Burger was very tasty and everything about it was just right, and my father got the oyster BLT and he said it was great. We are here on a Saturday evening. The restaurant appeared to be very clean, and all staff were wearing their masks. It seemed to be operating just under the 50% occupancy mandate. As we were seated, we were informed that we had arrived at shift change and that it would be a few minutes before our waitress would be with us. After our waitress took our drink order, within 5 minutes, our drinks began arriving. Our food order consisted of a Happy Hour Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, and a Shrimp Poboy with Mac-n-Cheese. My wife requested her burger to be well done, with no steak sauce. The waitress said they would put the steak sauce on the side. Our food arrived about 20 minutes later. The shrimp on the Poboy were of a nice size and well breaded. The bread was undersized for the shrimp, and looked more like a hot dog bun and Poboy bread. Most of the shrimp were on the plate and not in the sandwich. That being said, the shrimp alone were delicious. My wife opened her sandwich, only to see steak sauce on it. She sent it back for another burger. The waitress brought a new burger back out. This time the steak sauce was on the side AND on the burger. They had replaced the patty, but dumped the old toppings back on the burger. Not only that, the new burger wasn't well done. She wasn't going to send it back, but a manager saw that she was not happy. She took the burger away and we could hear her telling the cooks exactly what we wanted. A new burger was brought out, only this time it was just the burger, no fries. The manager took the burger and fries off of our ticket. Our waitress gave us our bill, which was $40 and change. When she brought back our ticket, somebody else had paid for it. I checked my bank and saw where $92 was charged to us. They then charged us our correct amount and said they will refund the $92. read more

This restaurant has a cool vibe and would be a good place to watch football games. The fries were too salty, but I did like how they were cut. The burger was actually pretty good, it was just so small. I usually expect to get a regular size burger, but the regular burger at P-Beau's felt like I ordered a small burgers from other restaurants. The quest dip was good, but the meat in the dip was too salty. I actually slightly avoided the meat because of the overpowering salty taste to them. I will go here again, because of the environment. You can play ping pong and a few other games. If I could rank different aspects of the restaurant and in between whole numbers, I would rank the environment at a four and the food at a 2.5-3. read more

So Friday nights are date nights and I usually always get to pick the place to eat. I didn't feel like dressing up so we stopped here because it looked pretty casual. When we walked in it was huge. It doesn't look like it's that big from the outside. When we first walked in there were some game tables that a group of people were standing around playing. We were seated immediately. Everything was perfect. I am not exaggerating. I had a blue berry margarita and it was delicious. The right balance not to strong and not too sweet. It was so good I ordered another! The smoked chicken and sausage gumbo was nice and savory and it was perfectly seasoned. For entrees, I had the redfish LeBeau...... pasta with a cream sauce topped with a large piece of seasoned redfish with shrimp and roasted red bell peppers ....... it was a large serving. It was so good I ate it all!!!! My husband had the tacos..... 1 beef, 1 pork and I can't remember the other.Each was dressed to compliment the meat option. I have been here twice, both have been mediocre. It's a cute place so I really wanted to like it. On my first visit the service was slow and inattentive. My chicken was burned but the boudin balls were good and so was my mint julep! I wanted to give it a second chance so I came back on an early Friday evening with a friend (around 6pm). They were not busy. Once we sat down our server rushed us to order, and after putting in our drinks & app, we didn't see her again for a long time after she brought the drinks. Our appetizer, the debris fries (which was good) was brought with no plates and we didn't even have a chance to ask for them because there were no servers on the floor at all. When I first went to P-Beau's, the burger was the closest thing I'd ever had in my adult life to a burger from my childhood that tendons my all-time favorite. That ass the first of many visits to come, but one day I noticed the bacon went from 2 slices to 1 slice that was cut in half. Then I noticed that the burger wasn't the same quality. In fact, I believed that they had changed the patty. So I went from being engaged to this burger to calling off the wedding. I was stunned and I knew things would vexed be the same. However, because of the grown up grilled cheese and wonderful staff, the place gets 3 stars. Otherwise, it would be snugging at 2. FYI: Go during Happy Hour. read more

Great hidden gem. Causal vibe with friendly staff. A win! The only downside: the cotton candy machine was "broken" so no fun treat after our meal, but the food was delish and served in such large portions we wouldn't have needed it anyway. Our table was served an enormous burger with crispy bacon on top, a steaming cup of gumbo (this is a small cup but plenty for someone wanting a lighter meal), and a heavenly salad with shrimp grilled to perfection. The apple pecan dressing was amazing! The free appetizer of piping hot pork rinds was a surprising win. None of us had ever enjoyed pork rinds but these were a hit.
