I didn't ask for one or cause a scene but I like be lying if I said I didn't expect some sort of small discount on my meal - as I ultimately paid over $20 for two poached eggs, two peices of ham, toast and a small bowl of fruit. The next day we went back for pastries, I had the apple almond croissant. It was not fresh, it was hard and I'm going to guess it was made the day before - I wasted $6 on something not edible. Which made me wish even more I had been given a discount the day before. The restaurant itself is lovely - great ambiance, comfortable seating and staff are friendly.
