Service was 3 star .after we ordered very simple breakfasts which had eggs and toast we had to wait 40 min and when I asked I was told I have to wait for people who ordered first to get their food .Like I was a child and should have been patient .the fact was the restaurant was not busy only 5 tables were occupied which 3 of them already had their foods. I ordered the "breakfast poutine" and it was one of the grossest things I've ever ordered in my life. It was soggy potatoes DRENCHED in an oily hollandaise sauce. It looked like someone had diarrhea all over my poutine. The mango banana smoothie was very liquidy and nothing special and definitely not worth the price. We were let in and led to our table. We sat there for almost 10 minutes and nobody came to even ask us what we wanted to drink. Usually, as soon as you enter in other Cora's location, they ask you right away what you want to drink. No one asked us. One guy came to several tables but just bypassed us. It's funny how travel can change our view on something. Before going to New Brunswick I'd never been to a Cora's, never even heard of it. But in Moncton I walked downtown one morning and stopped in. The place was empty quiet, only a few other people dining. Cora's only services breakfast and some lunch items. But the breakfast menu is pretty extensive and you get a good choice of savoury and sweet foods. I started with a fruit smoothie which was delicious but way too sweet for me. Then I had some crepes, which were delicious but a little sweet and rich. The prices are average, and the breakfast food is better than Denny's or Smitty's. I came to visit my family and we came here for breakfast!!! It was great! I ordered the wrap with eggs, cheese, and ham and it was amazing. It came with a variety of fruit, which were fresh! The only negative about this place is that the piece of lettuce that was on the plate for decoration was soooo dirty I had to take it off my plate. Went there on a sunday morning where most people in moncton had no power so you can assume how big the line was! We were told the wait would be over 1hour but suprisingly i think we were at a table in under 15!! The food came fast and it did not disappoint. We visited Cora this weekend excited for a big breakfast before a full day of activities. We were extremely disappointed by the time we left. We ordered at 10:02am and still had not been served by 11:15. I had to go up to the front desk and complain that we hadn't received food yet in order for it to come. When it arrived, two orders were wrong and everything was lukewarm. After stomaching what we could, we went to pay at the desk, explained our poor service and cold food and were offered nothing in return. No discount, no taking off the wrong orders, barely an apology. We will not be returning. read more

Cora's is a Diner chain. That said its so much more then you think , if other Diners in North America would be like that I think there would be way less fat people. They serve breakfast all day and this is what my review is based on. As I saw on the menu almost all their platters are accompanied with a huge amount of fruit, and I m talking fruit , not the notorious fruit bowl out of the can, NO fresh strawberries, bananas, melons,kiwis, grapes and more big chunky fruit pieces! So nice! They have different fares then other places, like buckwheat crepes or Brioche French toast. You can get real maple sirup if you ask for it and they have brewed coffee and espresso also, great are the fresh juices or also the fruit cocktail of the day . I do love to go to local and independent places to support the smaller businesses but their food is almost to good to pass by. I wish they would be in the United States not only in Canada! read more

Cora's is the best place for a huge variety of breakfast items. Everything is always yummy and awesome but don't expect your order to arrive in 5 minutes. Everything is made fresh and well worth the wait. If you are in a hurry like the 1 star rating below I would suggest McDonald's they supposedly use real eggs. read more

Don't get me wrong the food here is good and portions are large, that being said it isn't the cheapest breakfast in town. $2.75 for basic coffee where most breakfast places include it is a little much when basic breakfast is already $14 a plate. Although the servers were friendly, they weren't attentive and there were only maybe 10 people in the restaurant. I had to re-ask for the same thing a few times even though it was requested when I ordered. Just basic stuff like hot sauce, whipped cream on my kids pancakes, more coffee or water etc. I was 2/3 of the way through my breakfast when as her hand was already on my plate saying oh are you done and took it away. Would I go again? Yes, probably because it was convenient to where I was staying and the food is good.... would I recommend it probably not. The buffet at the hotel probably would have ended up being the same price which for breakfast is saying a lot. read more

Cora is probably my favourite breakfast place in the area. It's a Québecois chain restaurant with amazing food. I went with my brother, my dad, and our friend who has never been to Cora before. I got the Louis the Undecided which came with eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes, and a crêpe with bananas and Nutella (I asked for no strawberries). The crêpe was extraordinary, the bacon was flavourful and crispy, the eggs (I got them scrambled) were delicious, the toast was divine (the melted butter is fantastic), and the potatoes (I got grated cheese on mine) were good, but I wasn't a fan of the cheese that much. My brother got the ham and Swiss crêpe and judging from his plate afterwards, he enjoyed it. My dad got the Jo Construction. From what I can remember, it has eggs, sausages, bacon, and toast. He enjoyed it (probably because that's what he gets every time). My friend got the Gargantuan Feast. As the name implies, it was huge with bacon, eggs, ham, a blueberry pancake, toast, and fruit. He loved it for his first time at Cora. My brother, my dad, and I got coffee to drink (which is always good), but my friend got the fruit cocktail of the day. I unfortunately can't remember what was in it (I didn't get it and it changes every day), but don't get the small size. It actually is pretty small. In conclusion, I'm a regular at Cora and if you've never been there before and like breakfast, go there now (and don't forget the fudge on your way out)! read more
